As Steve reported this morning, the Chicago Cubs, after 70 years, won the right to go to the World Series. This is a big deal!
The game ended October 22, 2016, 9:45 PM, Chicago, IL.
CAPSOLAR: Moon is on Eastpoint (0°01'). This means (which we have seen in far more negative political news all year) that this is the year the people rise up en masse in Chicago. (This will be more important in the analysis at the end.) Pluto squares Asc (1°19'), Uranus rises (1°39'), Uranus squares Pluto near-partile, and we generally see civil uprising as the expectation as well as odds-defying "tearing down the old."
LIBSOLAR: But it all changes for the quarter! The message is crystal clear. Jupiter sets 0°44' for Chicago. Other foreground planets are a Sun-Mercury conjunction opposite Uranus which, technically is irrelevant to the win-lose question but certainly shows a lot of heroic excitement. (Note: With Cubs and their fans, "a lot of heroic excitement" could mean, "Didja see'em, they didn't lose too bad?" <g> But the Jupiter is clear.)
CAPLUNAR: Not an encouraging chart Neptune exactly squares MC (0°29'), Saturn is near MC, and they are in 1°43' mundane square. My only explanation for this is that, in my Super Bowl study, the lunar ingresses were categorically poor for calling the game, and maybe that's what we're seeing here. (And with the Arilunar dormant, this is the only lunar ingress relevant to the game.)
CAPOSOLAR QUOTIDIAN: Ya gotta see this to believe it.
p. Asc sq. s. Jupiter (0°56')
p. EP conj. s. Pluto (0°27'), t. Pluto (0°00')
p. MC sq. t. Mars (0°00'), op. s./p. Uranus (0°52'), op. p. Moon (1°29')
CAPSOLAR TRANSITS: A universal aspect gets added to Chicago-local factors. In what follows, remember that Chicago already had Moon exactly on EP for the year within 0°01'.
t. Jupiter op. s. EP (0°58')
t. Pluto sq. s. Asc (0°51')
CANSOLAR QUOTIDIAN: More clear marks of winning.
p. Asc sq. t. Jupiter (1°19')
p. MC op. s. Jupiter (1°11')
CANSOLAR TRANSIT: And then we come to the one chart that would have suggested a worse outcome. They key is that probably what I saw (and could demonstrate numerically) in the Super Bowl charts: If transits to the Capsolar give you an answer, don't look at transits to the Cansolar.
t. Saturn conj. s. MC (0°14')
t. Neptune conj. s. EP (0°59')
The Cubs won!

SteveS wrote:Thanks for your analysis Jim. FYI, Vegas odds had Chicago a solid favorite to win NLCS at -200 and I won a recreational wager, mainly betting on Chicago’s Oct 22 CapQ combined with your following SMA observation:Jim wrote:CAPSOLAR TRANSITS: A universal aspect gets added to Chicago-local factors. IMO, this was a great test pertaining to your Super Bowl “Reports & Studies,” and assisted me greatly in making a winning wager. I ignored the losing Cansolar transits because the Capsolar transits clearly showed winning transits.CANSOLAR TRANSIT: And then we come to the one chart that would have suggested a worse outcome. Also, another great assist from your SMA teachings was:You know me as a gambler I have always analyzed all kinds of % odds for making possible winning wagers; therefore, I considered my wager on the Cubs as a 96% winner with your above SMA teachings.Capsolar daily methods (CapQ + transits to Capsolar), assessed together for a given event, are 96% effective.
I am going to open a thread on the possible winner of this World Series with specific questions when you have time to answer. FYI, Vegas has the Cubs a -210 favorite and the Cleveland Indians a + 175 underdog. All games in the World Series will end app 10:30 PM CDT. Schedule for this best of 4- 7-game series:
Oct 25 (Cleveland)
Oct 26 (Cleveland)
Oct 28 (Chicago)
Oct 29 (Chicago)
Oct 30 (Chicago)
Nov 1 (Cleveland)
