Re: US forecast Sep 19 - Oct 16, 2018

Check out this jetstream pattern (which should bring some unusual weather) compared to the Canlunar map. The dip is right on the Saturn line. I can't make it out clearly. It looks like the dip is over Texas? Both the jetstream dip and the Canlunar Saturn line run almost straight down the Colorado /...

Re: Tropical to Sidereal Conversion?

Sam,

I use iPhemeris with Jim's interpretations listed here. In fact, if you want interpretations, you'll probably want to start using the ones here or those given by other specifically sidereal astrologers. They're less theoretically derived and more observationally derived.

To the OP: In the following thread, Jim talks about a study Bradley did on murderers, Jim's own attempt to replicate the study, and the differences between the two. https://www.solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2385 The difference seems to be that Bradley studied people whose murders were performed ...

In the maps shown above, each lunar ingress has two maps. Could you please explain why?

Primarily, I'm watching the Gulf of Mexico during the September peak of hurricane season.

It's crazy how that works out.

Here's one with a little more traditional, more specifically Popish imagery.

I was mostly just kind of publicly journaling, but I really do appreciate the advice. Another post self-deleted, but it was good too.

I can be too reactionary.

I need to engage my Mars in Virgo - for self-preservation if nothing else.. 8-)

Re: Lance: Chart Discussion

Right now Saturn's on the 2nd pass (retrograde) of being conjunct my natal Jupiter (0°34') and square my natal Pluto (0°21'). I'm on the Hospitality Committee at work. We do birthday cards and holiday celebrations mostly. Or... we did. Last Tuesday, under these influences, the new boss added some ex...

Two people with background Mercuries... Among the people I am most likely to take seriously.

Just some feedback on your perceptions.

Re: Lance: Chart Discussion

Well, I probably make myself sound worse than I am. I am way more normal than just hot or cold-running crazy. It’s because I’m focused on what frustrates me about myself, and I’m comparing myself to very outgoing, free, expressive personalities who seem, at least, to have no insecurities. Thanks ver...

Re: Lance: Chart Discussion

When I first read the above, I described it to a friend as a "five-finger death punch." lol. It hit me really hard because I realized these *feel like* the areas of my life that I have to fight to express. It was like an "aha!" with an "oh sh**..." I've spent a lot of time in self-analysis... years....

Background Plant Info

Posting this here from another thread. I expect to come back to this later. I suspect you are most interested in your own chart (aren't we all <g>?). Your background planets are numerous: Moon (4°30'), Saturn (5°07'), Venus (7°10'), Pluto (7°18'), Jupiter (7°49'). These don't tend to boil down to co...

Re: My daily transits July '18

One question I have:

When I look at my transits, I'm looking at Saturn and Pluto making these month-long partile transits, but it looks like you're just focusing on the faster planets when their transits are exact.

Can you give me a sense of the logic behind your technique?

Re: Question

Are these of any use or interest to anyone? I thought I'd do it just as an experiment, to show what I have said for years (but never demonstrated) - that simple transits to the natal and SSR charts pretty much, by themselves, describe each day and mark the flavor and most important features of the ...

Well, it depends on if the trend keeps up. But (Saturn-Uranus): Trump is disappointing a lot of people who are starting to see through his obfuscation on Russian hacking. Gowdy said the evidence more than fulfills the burden of proof. And (Jupiter-Neptune): The Democratic Progressives are starting t...

Re: Natal Chart - Scarlet Depths

ScarletDepths, You come across as a "combative learner." It's an expression I learned a long time ago, but I can't find anything on Google about it. As I learned it, it means you want to ask questions and learn, but you also prefer to challenge everything you are taught to see if it holds up. This p...

Re: 2021 Inauguration

John Kasich has Mars at that degree: At noon on his birth date, Mars was 11°59' Libra. He doesn't pass the luminary sign test unless Pence is president (he's Aries-Sagittarius).
It's not astrologically based, but this is where my money is, with Pence taking over after a Trump impeachment.
