Age Harmonics and a QUESTION or TWO

Do you have an insightful (or crazy?) idea off the main roads & most traveled side streets of Sidereal Astrology? This is its non-canonical place!

James, below is a AH Chart link to the day and time I was told my Sister died instantly when hit by a drunk driver while she was riding her beloved horse across a bridge. It was the saddest most depressing day in my entire life.

https://ibb.co/s59R3C9

Note AH Saturn partile conjunct my AH Zenith forming a partile kite formation with my AH Moon & Sun. James, you have convinced me with the charts I have checked in my life for major life events, AH is playing an important symbolic role with planetary symbolism. Can you recommend to me the best book you have studied for AH? Thanks

I have some more materials, but have to search them out...

In the meantime, you might want to read this:

Jim, thank you very much for your posts in this thread—definitely helping me to understand AH/TPDs better.
Thanks Oddon for the link you provided in your last post. I find Harmonics in Astrology very interesting.

Oddon wrote:
Some have mentioned that the even Age Harmonics (ie. integer harmonics) will give a year chart. I haven't really used it in that mode, but I can't help noticing the three tightest aspects in that chart for this year...
Mercury square Ascendant
Saturn square Sun
Neptune square Moon
This year, the main three things on my plate are...
1) I lost my Brother. (relating to (nadir) Mercury-Asc?)
2) I lost my Father-in-Law (relating to Saturn-Sun?)
3) My Mother is dying of cancer (relating to Neptune-Moon?)
As I said, I've done no exhaustive study (yet) with this idea...but you might wanna take a look at it, if you are so inclined.
Oddon, the events you have listed above strongly resonate with me with your current SSR where Jim teaches that one must look for Natal Planets with their aspects tightly conjunct SSR angles to see how the native will react to the SSR with their angular themes. Note: The main angular theme in your current SSR is Uranus (Changes) and Natal Neptune is partile conjunct your SSR ASC. This means to me you will be reacting with your very important Natal Saturn-Node-Neptune class 1 T-Square. Again, I remind you of the Hamburg School of Astrology relating the Node to “blood ties, kindred and related people.” I find your even 59th Harmonic aspects very interesting related to your Natal Themed Saturn-Node-Neptune being on the SSR angles.

Thanks for taking a look, Steve

Re: "Oddon, the events you have listed above strongly resonate with me with your current SSR"

Yes, this ominous SSR has been heading my way for quite awhile. Though I suspected a strong separation theme and natal Neptune at the Asc highlighted mourning response, I of course focused mainly on one person. Nobody told me I might win the trifecta. ;)

Across all of these reliable systems, the various events of the year are to be seen, in one way or another. The direct SSR is more dramatic (this time ;) ), but it's also there in the converse SSR, as well. In the converse, we have a tight SSR Mercury-Pluto conjunction, sitting right on my Natal Mercury, which underscores the loss of my Brother, Darin. My Natal Pluto is on the Ascendant of the Return. There were no doubts that it would be a heavy year, I just think I underestimated the weight of it...

...on the otherhand; Uranus is strong in both SSR's and so far, I've been able to be moderately distanced from being emotionally over-involved. ie. zooming out into space (or focusing on the astrology) when negative emotions start to encroach has been a good defensive strategy overall For someone with the Moon on the 1st side of the Ascendant, there's no turning them off, but there are ways to not get lost in an emotional swirl.

BTW, I am so tickled with how TMSA lays out the relevant data of a return chart - even one so horrible as your - I want to take the chance to show it off. Here are the data lists at the bottom (I dropped in vertical separators between the aspect groups). You instantly see the foreground planets, which ones are strongest and which ones back them up, and all the important aspect structures.

Oddon, continuing my research into my life with AH. Below is a link to AH Chart for my dear Mother’s death (RIP):

https://ibb.co/cL9FnKW

All I have to say is OMG!
AH MC partile conjunct AH Moon partile 90 AH Saturn!!!!
AH Sun partile 90 Pluto
AH Saturn partile 180 Natal Mars in my 8th House (Ebertin’s COSI “Cases of Death”)
Any AH material (books/articles) for my further serious study would be greatly appreciated Oddon, thanks.

FWIW:
James, I think I have discovered something that could turn out to be very important, at least to me with my immediate environment and life objectives pertaining to the AH technique. I will try to explain. First, this thread of yours started on Nov 17. In this thread, Jim provided me a daily list for exact AH aspects of 0,90,180, including Natal aspects with my Natal Factors (thanks again Jim). On Nov 17th I had an “outstanding incident” AH ASC exact 90 my Natal Jupiter exact cnj AH Zenith. As this thread progressed with further discussion and exploration by me with certain AH exploration, the more benefic effects it had on me from a possible important personal discovery how I want to try and implement AH into my future life, combined with Sidereal Astrology techniques and my life objectives with astrology.

On Nov 20 I had another “outstanding incident” AH aspect:
AH Uranus 90 AH MC! This daily AH plays a huge role in my discovery for the potential importance of AH with my future objectives (Thanks again for bringing AH to this forum and my attention). I need to stop here and explain something to you. Through my many years of studying Sidereal Astrology, the main/only type of astrology which I pay very close attention at this point in my life is Jim’s teachings where he states in his writings:
It is when angularity and aspect partility coincide that outstanding incidents are most likely to come about.
Jim also teaches the importance of a Demi SLR. Below is a Bi-Wheel link to my Nov 20 DSLR. It is a double whammy of angular Mercury-Jupiter conforming to Jim’s “outstanding incident” definition.
DSLR Mercury 28,20 Lib
DSLR Jupiter 29,04 Cap
Natal ASC 27,55 Lib
Natal Jupiter 29,42 Lib
Here are some of Ebertin’s COSI words for Mercury-Jupiter:
Constructive intellect, wealth of ideas, orators, successful activity as a business person, scientist or orator.

James, with your thread here and through my timed birth I now see the “orator” potential for the AH technique. Also, I see this same AH “orator” potential with the 1792 7:52 AM NYSE chart, more study required. So, in a nutshell, relative to my life objectives and with my immediate environment (this forum/your topic thread), the technique of daily AH symbolism combined with my DSLR symbolism has/is clearly manifested within the time frame of this topic thread.

Yes, I was. (am...will be) ;)

Since 2005, I have been here and I really don't see me ever leaving. In a few decades you could probably find me here, somewhere in the dirt.

Thanks, Jim, for showing that... I want to ruminate on it a bit.

Hey, those separators seem like they should always be in there, since they are functional to the analysis!

I tried installing Mike's program, but I get two exceptions (critical failures), because it can't find a couple of files that it says it needs. (Win7)
[api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll & c:\Users\ASTROL~1\AppData\Local\Temp\MEI76322\python39.dll]

SteveS, it tickles my fancy (does anyone say that anymore?) that you are finding such corroboration in your own life's events as per Age Harmonics. Once I felt that you were working with a correct time, I expected that, but I couldn't have expected the level of your excitement, nor your energetic examination of the technique. That feels like a gift to me, so thanks!!!

Relating to your Mother's passing (RIP), that is indeed very dramatic. Had you been examing your time periods in advance, seeing those ominous aspects on the horizon would have clued you that something major was going to happen and in some ways I feel it would have even brought you much closer to what event that might actually turn out to have been.

So far, when I have been confident that a birthtime is correct (ie. it cuts the mustard (does anyone say that anymore? ;) in the other relevant systems that I am using), the Age Harmonics have always worked for events. (in sample and out of sample)

On some level, Age Harmonics have left you "astrologically gushing" and knowing I helped in that brings me much joy! That's what these forums (preferred over the latin "fora") are all about...discussing things with relatively like-minded souls and inspiring and being inspired.

Thanks also to Jim for providing a platform for serious study and research. We've potentially as much to learn/discover as we already even know.

We have one problem, that we hope eventually to overcome, with Mike's program: He doesn't own a security certificate to attach to his software, so Windows starts off assuming it is a possible Trojan.

The extra step that got me over the hump was creating a new folder on the root of C: just for running the installer. I told Windows Defender to exempt that folder from its protections. (Others have found that they had to make similar adjustments with their own AV software, either whitelisting the program or the folder.

After that, during installation, Windows (or possibly another AV) will still throw up advisories that you have to click through.

I know it's a lot to go through to install a piece of software, but it gets you the free software :) . Hopefully we'll solve this problem in the future. I suggest installing the 0.4 preview version instead of the 0.3 stable version, just because so many bug fixes and developments have occurred in the interim.

Most likely you problem is a missing core Windows component, I will see about adding it to my next installer. Try visiting this page and installing the x86 package from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/wi ... w=msvc-170

Exactly! AH is one of the most exciting techniques I have ever encountered and may have great potential for the type mundane astrology I practice. I want to seriously study and learn all I can about AH.
