My Wife Sue

Post by mikestar13 »

The third living member member of my family, my wife Sue. November 16, 1963, 0:48 (48 minutes after midnight), Hollywood, CA. Sue is quite frankly, the love of my life. Whatever comes and goes, I know she'll be here until the day I die unless she beats me to the grave. And a whole lot of shit has come and gone, and some of it is with us now. Nevertheless, I am blessed beyond what I deserve. 19 years together and no end in sight.

Sue was raised in a difficult household, particularly in her relationship with her mother. The issues were emotional, psychological, and occasionally physical. Finances were not an issue as her family was solidly upper-middle class, in contrast to my lower-middle class origins. This makes our current impoverished circumstances harder on her than on me--and they kinda suck for me.

Any thoughts appreciated.

"The third living member member of my family"
What does this mean? Does your family consist of you, your wife and a child?

What thoughts are you looking for precisely? Are you wondering if your impoverished circumstances are about to change or not?

My household consists of myself, Sue, and my son Josh. We have two classes of relatives: the dead, and living who are so out of touch that they might as well be. We are alone, the three of us.

If you have any specific ideas about our circumstances, I'd love to hear them. But anything anyone wants to share from any perspective would be fine.

When you say you are alone, do you consider yourselves without much human contact as in not having many friends either? I do not have much contact with my family, but I do not consider myself alone since friends can be much better company than family :)

Well, I am a huge believer in making your own life and taking charge of your own "destiny" by just deciding what you want and to go after that. I am also a huge believer in relocation astrology to test your chart for the best benefits of it. I checked your birth data and I see you have that Mars-Saturn opposition closest to angles where you live AND your luminaries and benefics are all either background or middleground. I would therefore say that you would definitely benefit from testing a relocation where that Sun-Venus conjunction is angular or your Jupiter. Looking at your astrocartography I can see that your Sun-Venus conj will be angular in Hawaii and the east coast of the US is a much better place for you in this regards as it brings both Jupiter and Sun-Venus closer to the angles. If I were you, I would test those areas and check your wife's and son's relocation charts and their SSR's in those places. Would you be able to relocate for a few months period and are you ready to make that kind of changes in order to possibly enhance your lives?

I checked your wife's astrocartography as well and the east coast seems beneficial for her too, it will bring her Jupiter to DSC and her Nnode to MC.

PS. I read your thread about your horoscope, your stroke and the loss of your son. I am sorry to hear about your sufferings. I guess it is more of a challenge for you to relocate, but it might be worth testing another location for this later part of life.

Mike, I hadn't answered yet because it wasn't going to be an off-the-cuff answer, and he last few days have been jammed. Let me give it a crack.

One starkly wonderful connection between your two charts is her Jupiter on your Sun-Venus. This shows reciprocal warmth, generosity, respect, friendship, and more - a splendid aspect, and surely the core of your experience of the relationship.

I mention that first because, as you've surely observed, most of the rest of the interchanges are quite harsh. Simply noticing each of your planets around the others' angles, and what planets they also hit, is... no other word for it... harsh, even severe.

Now, I suspect this is authentically showing your shared experiences. The two of you have suffered through a lot. It's also true that her Saturn's strength in your chart is a mark of endurance - your certainty that this is, indeed, a commitment for life. You have endured, and you have endurance.

There is a non-astrological (probably "quasi-astrological" is better) factor about your wife's chart: She was born a week before the entire nation, and much of the world, was hurled into profound grief. Newborns cannot fail to be affected by this and, in fact, her chart has the marks of the time.

I don't often use the word "karma" with relation to astrology (because it's not useful to most people most of the time); but I'll use it here: You two are living through a shared karma. Take that in a metaphysical sense, if you will, or simply in the pragmatic sense that you have, together, chosen a shared path that has particular consequences and conditions, and you are carrying it through to the end. It's a hard path, it takes almost superhuman courage, it takes work work work, and you love each other and have decided to do this.

Sue is a woman of great strength and love.

Thank you, Arena. Relocation is not on the table right now, but if the Universe has a trick up its sleeve that makes it possible, your suggested locations will get prime consideration.

Before committing to a major relocation, remember an important distinction: Yes, you can add new planetary energy; but nothing removes the natal chart. Those angles are there for life, no matter where you live.

Thanks Jim, your reading has summed it up quite well. Sue says that her parents (especially her mom) blamed her for everything including the Kennedy assassination. Followed by the joking admission "I was the six day old baby with a gun on the grassy knoll...."
