Settings Progressed Charts

Kindly, would somebody be able to help me in identifying the following:

When I compare my SF calculations for natal charts with the calculations mentioned on the Forum they are almost always the same. However when I progress charts (Nailbod in RA), like for example Donald Trump's chart to the White House, I do not get the same results. I get:
p. MC 2°52' Cancer
p. Saturn 8°46' Cancer

That's because I'm not using Naibod in RA, something I abandoned several years ago. I now think the correct rate in Solar Arc in Longitude.

Are you using a relocated chart? I don't think Jim is. He said recently he thought the progressed chart should be drawn for where the person was during the years covered by the progressions.

For Trump that would be Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY. (Not Jamaica, NY, on Long Island, which confuses a lot of people.) He grew up in Jamaica Estates, which is also Queens, not Long Island. I'm not sure Solar Fire knows the difference.

Jamaica Hospital: 40.7009° N, 73.8165° W
Jamaica, NY: 40.699783° N, 73.786026° W

Yes, I think that's it: You are looking at the relocated progressed angles and missing the natal ones. For Washington, his progressed MC this minute is 5°17' Cancer.

I think both are valid, but the natal is the more important. (Not true with Quotidians, which seem more in present time and only work locally.)
