Harvey Weinstein has been much in the news lately - what a fast fall!
He was born March 19, 1952 in Flushing, NY. His birth time is not on record, but an astrologer who worked for him claims a 9:45 PM birth time - the best we have. With Mars rising square Pluto on MC, the chart is quite credible (I've met him a few times, and know several people who know him). I originally pulled up the chart to see how the automated interpretation summary would work for his chart.
But first, a quick look at recent events. The starkest thing in his transits is Pluto square his Jupiter, which runs the extremes of exalting the unlikely to dragging down the uplifted. Pluto also squares his Neptune, shattering delusions and exposing hidden things - while Pluto to his natal Jupiter-Neptune 25' opposition presumably is an impact on his movie business and reputation in general. Lots of little subtleties with this.
His current SSR for this time is credible: Uranus and Pluto both exactly on angles (though Mercury-Venus is nearby). This brings transiting Pluto's square to his Jupiter (23') exactly to the angles for the year.
The chart is credible. In the next post, I'll give his chart summary from the new interpretation tools.

Re: Harvey Weinstein
ANGULAR PLANETS
Angular Pluto (Midheaven 0°01')
Social outliers needing to be authentically themselves, without labels or arbitrary standards or expectations. Eccentric, antisocial, outrageous; won’t melt into the conventional collective; singularly unique in their context, on their own path (vulnerable to persecution). Gentle, inoffensive, innocent, shy. (If severely afflicted: cruel, unfeeling, inhuman.) Grapples with spiritual actualities.
Angular Mars (Ascendant 3°54')
Aggressive, competitive, challenging, needs to win (combative, quarrelsome). Seeks to test & prove self by contest (e.g., competitively, verbally, mentally, sexually). Courage (physical & moral; may disregard safety). Dominates & controls others. Physical, needs to expend energy; needs physical & psychological elbow-room. Sexually aggressive, needs frequent satisfaction. Business leadership & competitive excellence.
Mars Square Pluto (1°11')
Normally well-mannered, congenial, even docile behavior sits atop a stockpile of explosive force. It may be (1) suppressed, blocked personal power, (2) owned, disciplined, available personal power, or (3) pathologized, brutal, destructive power. (Health in this is reflected in how freely appropriate anger is expressed.) This enormous force (especially physical force) must be expressed somehow, e.g., (1) directly, (2) attracting violence, or (3) eruptive health crises. Sexual energies explosive, or poured into driven work. Vulnerable to burnout. Sensitive to pressure or coercion; pot-stirrers, resistant to outside control, defiant of arbitrary restrictions; willing to live “outside the norm” on social patterning. In a productive, on-track life: a mark of genius and distinctive creativity, acutely alive with a quiet energy; the others are trouble, can’t seem to avoid breaking or upsetting something.
MOON
Moon in Sagittarius
Higher & higher (ambition, spiritual aspiration, flight). Optimism (adapting with positivism). Courteous, gracious, natural hosts. Seeks to impress (needs validation, approval). Devoted to ideals & values (political; nationalistic, tribal; loves history). Dramatic (actors). Mercenary. Strong family ties.
Moon in 2nd House
Strongly reliant on personal resources. Shrewd, tenacious. Enjoys life. Protective of “what is theirs.”
Moon Square Saturn (0°02')
Proud, self-made. Dynamic, hardworking, persistent, self-driving. Encourages growth in others (expects them to do something worthy of their abilities). Usually emotionally reserved, private. Definite tendency (often unconscious) to seek total control of situations & relationships. Parent-themed issues (nourishment-deprivation, etc.) to work through. Judgmental (intolerant). Can be pessimistic, distrustful, little self-confidence, passive-aggressive, feeling inferior, anxious, depressed. Many enter religious or social work for mixed motives of service, self-immolation, and seeking control.
Moon Opposite Uranus (2°43')
A specie of genius (intellectually rebellious, roving, curious, investigative) is bursting to express itself – not wholly comfortable accepting outside guidance, often wondering why others don’t recognize its nature. Inquisitive, original, futuristic, seeking novelty & needing variety (“will try anything twice”). Free-spirited: psychologically lives outside of convention; but subject to tensions and stiffness from emotional stress.
SUN
Sun in Pisces
Drawn to the foreign, exotic, wondrous, theatrical, mysterious, glamorous. Wanderlust. Eros vs. moralism. Socially charming. Seeks idealistic relationships. Visionary, romantic, dreamer. Hardened personal reality, stuck patterns. Slavery-bondage. Fickle allegiance, betrayal. Drama, acting, music.
Sun in 5th House
Oriented to pleasure (own and others’), spontaneous self-expression, strong individuation needs, self-confidence, delightfulness. Creative thrust. Ego identified with own creations (children).
MARS
Mars in Libra
Warm, sociable, likable. Independent, self-sufficient, survivors (slow to ask for help). Persistent, serious, intent. Interesting, odd (disreputable?), on outskirts. Ego distinction prevails over ego-submersion (but wants marriage). Passion for social justice. Feminine thrives better than masculine (feminist). Women aggressively protect families, friends (power, impact). Men struggle with gender expectations (some bullies). Substance abuse problems.
MERCURY
Mercury in Pisces
Subjective mind: Reason & illogic at war. Attracted to the unfamiliar and vague, to mysterious, irrational things. Unusual sensitivity (psychic); highly responsive to impressions. “Soaks up” learning. Imagination, artistic sense. Enthusiasm: dives into the fray, power of persuasion. Inattentive, careless, misjudging.
Mercury Conjunct Jupiter (2°46')
Love of ideas and learning. Easy “way with words,” comfortable speaking, reassuring in speech and manner. Well-formed speech has marks of a good education (whether true or not). Good-tempered, kind; may seem shallower than they are. Optimistic, religious-style thinking, e.g., “gambler’s roll” (don’t disturb their “hope & vision” with contradictory facts!). Good business potential (perhaps from raw luck more than skill) and always looking for the next opportunity or lucky break. Poorly suited to fixed schedule or routine.
Mercury Opposite Neptune (3°11')
Hyper-responsive to environment and perceptions, extreme sensitivity to sensory impressions (may include psychism). Magnifies trivialities, fixates on particulars (often perfectionists); thus, often uncanny memories. Loves puzzle- or problem-solving, often in fantasy modelling; gets much pleasure and psychological relief from fantasied problem solving. However, commonly avoids own real problems by obsessing over fantasy problems. Dreamers, story-tellers, can enthuse-enroll others and convince someone of almost anything. Many adapt readily to systematized thought-modes of math and science.
Mercury Trine Pluto (1°46')
Thinking is individual, unusual, outlier. Investigative (origins & causes), thinks deeply about things. Mind may ride the edge of normalcy (may slip off): enthusiasm, excitability, possible burnout. Impatient (irritable, easily frustrated). Instinct for abstractions.
VENUS
Venus in Aquarius
Realists in relationships: take others as they find them. Cool, aloof; often disinterested, dismissive. Won’t surrender autonomy or “get lost in someone.” Pragmatic in relationships; okay with (desires?) many variations. Many identify with purposeful community (often idealistic). Private about their personal lives. Not prone to marry. (Moody, depressed.)
Venus Semi-square Jupiter (1°10')
Warm, friendly, giving, hospitable, gracious. Needs to be liked, desires positive attention & appreciation (usually gets it). At home in comfort. Unusual luck opens doors. Inclined to extravagance, possible “spoiled brat.”
Venus Sesqui-square Neptune (1°35')
Idealistic, longs to be enchanted. Wants things perfect. Becomes disillusioned & jaded from repeated disappointments. Emotions run strong. Blind spots with people (especially in romance), but reads people astutely when not personally involved. Good-hearted, devoted, humanitarian.
