Outstanding incident for Wife

5 Crown’s and a full J. (signing off for la-la land.) :)
Let’s see if the exact day of this transit of the eclipse on July 12 2018 foretells a Plutonian event for my wife. t. Pluto has been sitting on her Dsc for a long time.
T. Eclipse partile cnj her Natal Asc partile 180 t Pluto partile cnj her natal horizon.

My wife’s sister Natal Chart with same transits for New Moon (Eclipse) July 12.
t. Sun-Moon partile 180 t. Pluto falling partile cnj her Natal Moon. Since this transit is falling prominently on both my wife’s & her sister’s Natal personal points, I suspect a Plutonian incident involving their Mother.

Added to that Plutonian outlook is the tr. Saturn on her WP.

I've had tr. Pluto and tr. Saturn moving back and forth around my angles for a while. It's heavy energy at times. Not only did my partner's grandfather die and my grandmother, but also within the last few weeks my friend's son has gone missing in action in Syria (probably dead), a man in my mother's family has been killed by his brother (possibly an accident when drunk) and just a few days ago my grandmother's sister died. I didn't know her well and not the other two either, but still, I knew who they were and it just brings out this deep contemplating on life and death in general and puts a heavy emphasis on how quickly it can just all be gone and done.

I understand Arena. My wife's Mother has been fighting poor health conditions during the time of my wife's & her sister's partile Pluto transit to their Dsc (cnj) & Moon (180). This slow Pluto transit has certainly brought the issue of death into their lives pertaining to their Mother. My wife's sister is the primary care giver for her Mother and she is close to an emotional nervous breakdown caring for her Mother with all the necessary care/attention which is required for a loved one who is experiencing rapid failing health. The sister has asked me to look at charts to see if I can determine an approximate time for death. I told her it would not surprise me if her Mother experienced another stunning malefic event with her health around July 12 with the Eclipse, but not necessarily the death.

In this case, a good lesson for us astrologers is Pluto transit to my sister-in-law's natal Moon is manifesting a-lot more emotional damage compared to Pluto's transit to my wife's natal Dsc. We can clearly see in this case our Natal Moon's usually has much to do with our core inner emotions compared to our Natal angles.

Does your mother-in-law have hospice? If not, maybe take a look. Also check with the office for the aging in her area for respite care for your sister-in-law. With help from your wife, that will help your sister-in-law.
I'm pretty sure you and your wife have already looked into all of that.

JSAD, mother-in-law not to hospice stage, yet. It's been one screwed-up health crises after another for mother-in-law--wearing sister-in-law out. My wife has volunteered to help and is helping in many ways, we live 80 miles away round trip. Sister-in-law more emotionally attached to her mother than my wife. And yes, I think they got all the prepared plans in place. Next week--t. Mars hits t-Pluto on their natal personal points--they both have been advised about this transit to try and lay as low as possible--we shall see. Thanks for asking/advising.

Both wife and sister-in-law had tight/partile t. Mars transits to t. Pluto on their personal points. I have already isolated this slow t. Pluto to their personal points involves certain crises with their 91 year old mother and her failing health. This weekend, their Mother dropped a heavy object on her shin causing a huge blood blister which they are taking her this morning to the Doc. This blood blister will have to be lanced to relieve the pus built-up. Their Mother is in a-lot of leg pain.

Wife’s Natal Chart (Inside Wheel) with Transits at 11:28 PM Ap. 25th
https://imgur.com/a/BsqdpkP
At 11:28 PM today, my wife got a phone call from her best friend informing my wife she just got a diagnosis of Cancer with 6-12 months to live.
The devasting ‘stunning/shocking’ symbolism is:
t. Mars 25,55 Sag
t. Pluto 26,18 Sag
n. Dsc 25,07 Sag
Other notables:
n Mercury 25,19 Virgo
n Venus 27,06 Virgo
n MC 12,16 Pi
t. Mercury 13,57 Pi square t. Saturn 14,07 Sag
I thought this would have something to do with my wife’s ailing Mother, but as we now can see with 20-20 hindsight—it timed devasting news about her best friend, with her n. Dsc.

OMG... this is twice your wife has had to go through that recently. This must be very hard on her, and probably reminding her (and you!) of the last occasion.

Exactly Jim! I think it has a-lot to do with one of her main Natal aspects with Mars tight 120 Pluto sextiles to her Mercury-Venus-Neptune.

OMG Steve. I just saw this:
At 11:28 PM today, my wife got a phone call from her best friend informing my wife she just got a diagnosis of Cancer with 6-12 months to live.
I am so sorry to hear about this.
Since I have been doing some research on Cancer for myself in order to use preventive measures, this may be of help to your wife's friend. She might just ignore it, but she might want to use it, you never know what people are ready to do and I feel it is my duty to share it. Do with it what you want. The thing about this is that she has nothing to lose, but everything to win. It is a natural method for the body to fight disease.

Since she still has been given 6-12 months, I assume she is not in the category of being too thin to fast.
Suggest to her to read about the biological process of autophagy and then to read some research on what fasting does to malignant tumours in mice when they fast. I know she is not a mouse, and I know that research needs many years before it can be used on people. This is preliminary research, but the most important thing is that fasting is not going to hurt her, but it may possibly help her tremendously. It has even been shown beneficial to people who are going on chemotherapy, their bodies cope better with the chemo after they've been fasting. She may need to do prolonged fasts, a few days at a time and drink only water and herbal teas during those ... and then in between those to do intermittent fasting or a ketogenic diet. Suggest to her to watch this documentary that most people do not know about. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Science-Fastin ... B0771XDM4Q

Please also suggest the following videos on the same issue:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bAkvnvX0W8

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ws0mOmfC9EU

Very simple version:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqb-9yYzV8s

Dr. Jason Fung advocates fasting as well and she can find lots of videos to learn from him online:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnJdxEb01Tg

Dr. Thomas Seyfried is another one that advocates and has been researching fasting:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dm_ob5u9FdM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXWE8vQB0eA&t=709s
https://thequantifiedbody.net/water-fas ... at-cancer/

This series also has a lot of resources about natural methods that she might want to know about, especially if it is not going to hurt her.
http://thetruthaboutcancer.net/

Here is a bit about Warberg's theory of starving the tumour of sugars, basically to not eat sugars or carbs like bread, pasta, potatoes etc. Just skip it.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/15/maga ... death.html
"A growing tumour can be thought of as a construction site, and as today’s researchers explain it, the Warburg effect opens the gates for more and more trucks to deliver building materials (in the form of glucose molecules) to make “daughter” cells."
...
"The protein created by AKT is part of a chain of "
signalling proteins that is mutated in up to 80 percent of all cancers. Thompson says that once these proteins go into overdrive, a cell no longer worries about signals from other cells to eat; it instead stuffs itself with glucose. Thompson discovered he could induce the “full Warburg effect” simply by placing an activated AKT protein into a normal cell. When that happens, Thompson says, the cells begin to do what every single-celled organism will do in the presence of food: eat as much as it can and make as many copies of itself as possible. When Thompson presents his research to high-school students, he shows them a slide of mould spreading across a piece of bread. The slide’s heading — “Everyone’s first cancer experiment” — recalls Warburg’s observation that cancer cells will carry out fermentation at almost the same rate of wildly growing yeasts.
...
"In the 1980s, Cantley discovered how insulin, which is released by the pancreas and tells cells to take up glucose, influences what happens inside a cell. Cantley now refers to insulin and a closely related hormone, IGF-1 (insulinlike growth factor 1), as “the champion” activators of metabolic proteins linked to cancer. He’s beginning to see evidence, he says, that in some cases, “it really is insulin itself that’s getting the tumour started.” One way to think about the Warburg effect, says Cantley, is as the insulin, or IGF-1, signalling pathway “gone awry — it’s cells behaving as though insulin were telling it to take up glucose all the time and to grow.” Cantley, who avoids eating sugar as much as he can, is currently studying the effects of diet on mice that have the mutations that are commonly found in colorectal and other cancers. He says that the effects of a sugary diet on colorectal, breast and other cancer models “looks very impressive” and “rather scary."
And a bit more on the glucose issue and cancer:

Another side to the growing epidemic of Cancer in this world can possibly be explained by a growing number of houses that are infected by mould.

I am sure your wife's friend will have people around her maybe send her things. Like I said, I just feel it is my duty to share this and if you'd like to share it with her, just copy all this into an email to her so she can open the links. I hope she finds it helpful. You might also want to add that I had cell changes in my pelvis for many many years and doctors say it can be the cellular indication that there is a risk of cancer to develop from that. I decided to reduce sugars in my diet last year and I started fasting regularly. Last cancer test check at the doctor's turned out to be negative, so I believe this has helped my body keep it down or even possibly fix it.

Arena,

Marion and I have been eating keto for almost a year (about 9 months). If anyone needs assistance or clarification, we likely can be a resource.

That's interesting. Do you feel a difference in your health?
May I ask what prompted you to start on keto diet?

Some of those who recommend fasting they also recommend people try the keto diet to minimize all the sugars and carbs (especially when people are already sick).

Some. Most of my nagging health problems are inflammation related, and a keto diet reduces inflammation significantly. She's experienced a considerable increase in energy, and I got at least some of that.
May I ask what prompted you to start on keto diet?
She wanted to, and I was fine with it. We were already leaning two-thirds in that direction, having reduced carbs significantly, which gave us more leeway to push up the fats. The final transition was not a gigantic push, and was as much affected by (1) finishing using up things we had on hand and weren't going to eat hereafter and (2) figuring out exactly what cooking options the new formula allowed or opened, as by (3) the act itself of switching.
Some of those who recommend fasting they also recommend people try the keto diet to minimize all the sugars and carbs (especially when people are already sick).
The diet was originally created for juvenile epilepsy, which has a high inflammation component. I'd absolutely recommend it for any health condition that is inflammation-fuelled, and I personally thing this includes most auto-immune conditions.

A lot of people do it to lose weight - not my goal (oh, I would have been happy to knock off 5-10 I'd crept up, but that was no big deal). With about three or four months, without trying (and while I felt like I was gorging myself on extremely rich things), I dropped 20+ pounds anyway.

For those who don't know, here are the basics on the keto (properly: ketogenic0 diet: The human body can turn either carbs or fats into energy. Early humans had far more crbs around them them fats, so most of the species went in the direction of being primarily carb burners Either carbs or fats are fine ources by themselves, but the mixing of them is the problem: It's not fat that makes you fat, but fat + carbs will pile it on fast and most people think they have to start reducing fats (not so): If the body has carbs available, it will burn them first, and of there are fats conocurrently available it will store them as emergency ratons that just keep accumulating.

One could go high carb low fat or high fat low carb with comparable (not identical) energy and health conditions. However, carbs are more inflammatory, are slightly less energy efficient, and get you riding an insulin roller-coaster with various health impact. Fats OTOH push the body to create ketones which are a direct energh source. (That's really simplistic, but it's the bottom line.)

The diet (wiithout getting into fine points) is basically very high fat (starting to think of fat as what you're really living on), moderately high protein, and close to zero carbohydrates. "Close to zero" is 10-20 gm a day. The tactic is to persuade the body that carbs (instead of being plentiful) are rare by just not feeding it any, and then to continue not feeding it any. At any point you can eat carbs again except you lose most of the ground you gained on convincing the body that they aren't generally available. ("Carbs" means "net carbs," i.e., doesn't count fiber. A lot of food labels distinguish fiber from general carbs - just subtract them - and a lot of labels now list net carbs specifically. So, for example, you can eat more or less all the cauliflower you want because the high level of carbs are nearly all fiber.

That's the crab course. :) You end up eating all those rich, elegant, lucious things that most of your life you were told you had to stay away when you're no longer a carb burner.

I once had a prescription for donuts. A real one from my doctor. I get low blood sugar and I had a boss who thought he was in charge of more than he was. (Why yes, I am a Leo.)

Thanks Arena for the info and links, my wife now has the links in her e.mail and is going to forward them to her friend's son who will be the Primary Care giver. Yesterday we heard my wife's friend has the choice to begin Chemo, but they only expect this will extend life a few months. The diagnosis was terminal Cancer, we are only getting pieces of detailed info. My wife asked me to look at her future cycles to see if I could determine general time death and I noted t. Saturn joins t. Pluto on her Dsc in Spring of 2019 which fits the time schedule for life expectancy for her friend with type of Cancer.

Steve, I have a favour to ask of you. You don't have to do it unless you want to, but if you find the time before this woman goes into chemo therapy, I would like to ask you to watch all the videos I linked to above. They are extremely interesting and I promise you will not be bored :) I would also like to ask you to also randomly open 3-7 of the research links that I sent you. When you have done that I believe that you can be a better source of "a messenger" than I can be to this woman who is so important to your wife.

Thanks Avshalom. This friend of my wife, even close, is of an older generation and wife is taking this bad news well. Her closest life friend of her same generation who she lost to cancer a couple of years ago was actually much harsher on her psychological being because she had to care for her friend in the friend's home up to the day she died. This latest news of soon loosing an older friend to terminal cancer was timed by a Mercury & Mars transit which are very short time cycles; whereas, my wife's close friend who she lost a couple of years ago involved much longer time cycles with wife involving her Solar Return and 2-3 successive malefic Lunar Returns. My wife told me she was very appreciative of having the timing guidance of Sidereal Astrology showing her the length of harsh time expected with her closest life friend dying a couple years ago---said this helped her mentally prepare for realizing how long she had to deal with the mental pain of watching/caring up close over weeks-months her friend dying. Normally, the timing of long(er) malefic life cycles are shown with either solar returns, series of malefic lunar returns, slow outer planet malefic transits, and at rare times with our progressed natal charts. 'Timing is Everything' and knowing/realizing the length of certain malefic time cycles helps us to be better prepared, mentally/psychologically.

Yesterday, I watched a Netflix Documentary on the Ketogenic Diet, titled ‘The Magic Pill.’ I highly recommend this very informative program, lots of factual truths about what has happened (changes) to the World’s production of food in the last 50 years creating/increasing much of today’s modern common illnesses/diseases, and proof how the Ketogenic Diet is eradicating these illnesses/diseases. Definitely confirms Jim’s positive health experiences on this diet.

Jim, I have a close friend who wanted to ask you the following question about your experiences with your health history and keto diet:
I followed your medical journey in the past year with great interest. I want to congratulate you on your results. I have one question. The keto diet seems so radical to conventional coronary and vascular prescribed diets. How did you get your cardiologist on board?
Any feedback will be appreciated, thanks.

Steve, I didn't have to do anything to get my cardiologist on board. He took the news Id been eating keto almost without remark - I think he was primarily focused on results, and my results had been superb.

A couple of things that might help understand this. I am, of course, giving lay opinions, not giving medical advice:
  • A ketogenic diet dramatically reduces inflammation. (That's why it was created a century or so ago.) My understanding is that inflammation is the real issue in artery disease, not cholesterol etc. Dramatically reduced inflammation is one of the best things you can do for your cardiovascular system.
  • Weight is a contributor to heart disease. People tend to lose weight (sometimes dramatically) on keto. Fat isn't what makes you fat: Carbs + fat makes you fat (becase the body body burns the carbs and stores the fat). Deprive it of carbs and get the body in a state to burn ketones, and you're in a whole new world.
  • For reasons that are a puzzle even to me, my cholesterol fell significantly on this diet. My whole life it has been in 200-250, usually 200-225 - high enough to get a raised eyebrow, not high enough for doctors to feel they had to do anything about it. Never below 200 in my life. Two months after starting keto, my cholesterol was 175.
  • As mentioned above, the real issue, I think, were simply the results. These may or may not be attributed to a ketogenic diet, but it certainly didn't interfere with them. I had little to no arterial blockages (no plaque in the neck arteries, almost none in the cardiac arteries). Cholesterol dropped significantly. Heart pumping volume went from half what it was supposed to be to totally normal. Blood pressure went from dangerous down to worrisome, and then down to totally normal. With changes like that, cardiologists don't complain.
Thinking about the question of what I had to do to get the cardiologist on board, I realize it's a strange question for me. It implies I asked him first. I didn't. (It would never have occurred to me to do so.) He didn't blink when he heard I was eating that way.

It may be useful to know that this wasn't a fly-by-night cardiologist. He's on staff at Cedars-Sinai here in LA - world-class cardiology department - and his colleagues (some of whom I know socially) regard him as one of their best doctors.

Hope this helps someone. :)

I have a friend who had a valve repair done by one of the top surgeons in the country in an experimental surgery at Duke University Hospital several years ago. (Worked) The surgeon gave him insulin and kept him on a ketogenic diet for almost a week while he was in the hospital. No bread, no sugar, no fruit, no carbs. No ice cream or cake. Apparently this is quite common. ( https://www.google.com/search?client=fi ... vXWAseGXto )
You and your friend might want to look into diets like Keto that tightly control blood sugar levels and discuss that with your cardiologist and maybe a nutritionist to get your started.

He got off his behind and lost 50 lbs last year and was surprised he no longer needs blood pressure meds and his BP is normal without them.

If one is overweight and on keto, one doesn't really have to work at losing weight. I was about 10+ pounds up from what I thought was a good spot, and I quickly dropped almost 25, and have hovered for months in a 5# range about 20# below where I was last July.

The body just stops storing up fat, and is willing to burn the "reserve food" stores the body is already carrying. As with hCG diets (which use a hormone to force similar conditions to eating keto), the structural and protective fat is not tapped first - rather, it's the reserve stores.

My friend is 196 and is going on Keto to try and reverse cardio problems similar to Jim's past problems. Wants to get back to his college wt of 170. Will update so we can monitor the results of Keto. Thanks 🙏 for the feedback.
