Stabbed By Crazy Person

This is not the sort of an event I expected to have happen to me in a skilled nursing facility. The event happen at approximately 6/16/2018, 1:55 PM in Calimesa, CA. Some background: The perpetrator, Grace, has always engaged in inappropriate behaviors with regard to making sexual advances. But she did take no for an answer back when she chose me as her involuntary boyfriend early this year, she has since picked at least two others. Bu as she has declined deeper into dementia, she has become violent. Here last such action, two days before, was to attempt to strangle a man who sad no to her with a phone cord. Earlier this year she had been Mary's (my girlfriend) roommate and was always jealous of her.

At about 12:30PM after lunch, I had gone out on the patio to get some sun, which I do daily in good weather. Grace came out a few minutes later for the same purpose and went to a different part of the patio. She seemed normal but had a wooden model boat from arts and crafts with her. Mary came out a bit later to smoke and we were having a pleasant conversation in the smoking area near the door to the dining room. Grace wheels up in her chair, presumably to go back in the dining room for o'clock bingo. She stopper and said "I have some thing to tell you, dear" to Mary. She spoke in a sweet voice but something didn't seem right so I stayed close. At this moment she attacked Mary, attempting to rip her dress off with one hand and hit her in the head with the other. I put my wheelchair in between them to protect Mary, and Grace became enraged at me and proceeded to use the mast of the model boat as an improvised knife. She stabbed me twice in the right leg before other residents and staff were able to restrain her. Her speech was my this time incoherent, but there was murder in her eyes. I've no doubt her intent was to keep on stabbing until she hit an artery. She was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric detention for evaluation.

I went to the ER where the doctor cleaned, assessed, and bandaged my wounds. I got a tetanus shot and was put on a course of antibiotics. I was returned here at about 9PM. I slept comfortably. The proper police reports have been made. This event has really made Mary and I closer. I spent the time between Grace being restrained and the cops and paramedics arriving comforting Mary as staff performed first aid. She was physically unhurt but in extreme emotional shock. She wanted to come to the ER with me which I agreed to enthusiastically but this was refused as she is not a spouse or relative.

Well leave it to me to find a new way to impress a lady, shedding my blood to defend her.

I have examined the solunars and Mars is prominent but the transits for the day don't fit, at first glance. I would appreciate some astrological insight.

BTW, if there's any way you can get Grace's birth data, it would be very interesting. Unfortunately, the things I'd be most interested in are probably dependent on a time, but even without a birth time we might see some useful things about her condition.

Now, about those charts of yours...

First of all, at the time of the attack Moon was opposite Mars in space 0°14' and a <2°Mercury-Saturn opposition was crossing the local meridian. It was a violent, volatile hour when reactive emotions get stirred, and somebody was really frustrated with something.

Neither of these patterns landed in critical places in your chart, though you were part of the picture: Your Sun and Venus were setting at that exact moment - the archetypal sublimity of the romantic hero, just as you portrayed it to us!

In fact, the transit chart doesn't look like a violent, injurious moment for you, but a romantic one. This partly meant some unwanted attention. Transiting Venus conjoined your Uranus 0°18'. Mercury squared your Venus 0°55'. The Moon-Mars exactly opposition was trine-sextile your Venus partile, enhancing the subplot.

So much for the event chart.

There's another detail I'll mention but my official opinion is that it probably isn't in any sense valid. (My real opinion is it probably isn't valid but I'm spending a few months looking at it more closely.)

Transiting Saturn conjoined your natal 8th cusp 0°20'. Six months ago, I'd have denied such a thing was relevant, then one day I saw something that made me go, "Huh, really?" A friend had a horrible day, not only intrinsically stressful but with her feeling primarily attacked by others in an unusual, not-usually-like-this day at work. Her chart didn't show it by any usual means, and I was about to file it under "not sure what happened here." There was an exact Sun-Mars square in space all day that seemed thematically right, but it wasn't doing anything to her chart.

Then I noticed... this Sun-Mars square in space fell with transiting Sun conjunct her natal 8th cusp, transiting Mars conjoining her 12th. In the worst hour, this was all exact within a few minutes of arc. And wow, the details of the event involved her pushing harder to develop other people and their capacities (resources), confrontational disclosures, and her feeling her power undercut and diminished - all classic interpretations of Sun + 8th house (the first two) and Mars + 12th house (the last one). It was so dead on, and there was nothing else - so, I felt beholden to watch this for a while.

In the intervening few months, I've had few clear clean hits. A couple of raising eyebrows reasonable hits, a few near misses (like taking a day and a half road-trip a day or two off Mercury crossing my 9th cusp, when I could as easily have chosen the day of the crossing). Last weekend, I had a example of this not working: There was a significant social event planned for a weekend evening, kind of a big deal and involving a high percentage of my friends, and I had to decide if I was going - I was fighting off something or for some other reason my strength was feeling depleted, and I decided not to go, to save up my strength (it would have been a very strenuous evening for me). After deciding not to go, I noticed that transiting Venus was exactly conjunct my 11th cusp, a perfect symbol for "fun social event with a group of friends." Were this a major active factor, I would think I would have been prompted to decide I was going, but it didn't work out that way. Perhaps it's because there's nothing to this "transit of intermediate house cusps" thing, or possibly because Venus was simultaneously square natal Neptune.

Anyway, that's the background and setup for my saying that, if there is anything to this approach, you should note that transiting Saturn is exactly conjunct your 8th cusp at the moment, with themes of eros, psychological penetration, confrontation, and others' interests or resources. Take it for what it's worth.

Your current SSR has a definite possibility of you needing stitches before the year is out, with a 0°10' Mars-Saturn conjunction within 2° of EP along with the romance-favoring Moon-Venus opposition on your Neptune. Mars-Saturn is getting closer as the year goes on, and is now progressed to within 0°04'.

Your SLR, as you noticed, is definitely set for a surprise attack but a good outcome. Transiting Mars was 0°02' (2 minutes!) from IC square Uranus near Descendant (all tied to your Uranus near MC). Foreground Moon squares Venus. Jupiter is within 2° of EP for protection and treatment.

Oh shit! (Sorry, that just slipped out.) Your SLR MC is 13°25' Cancer. Not only was the slow-moving Mars only 0°02' from your IC in mundo when the SLR set up, the transiting Moon-Mars opposition for the attack was at 13°23' Cancer to 13°37' Capricorn. For the time you recorded for the attack, transiting Moon was only 0°02' from your SLR MC and transiting Venus partile square your SLR horizon.

Secondary progressed Sun-Saturn opposition was exact in the last month, currently separating by 0°04' (have you been well? haven't seen you here much), but doesn't seem implicated in the event. Progressed Moon is exactly conjunct progressed Ascendant at the moment (about half a degree applying).

If your birth time were four or five minutes later, transiting Saturn would have been on SNQ IC for the event. As it is, it's a little wide (2°00' applying).

The wound seems to be healing well. This is the ultimate manifestation of being the romantic hero all month, fighting with administration about various conditions adversely affecting Mary's life, including a new roommate how screamed all night and day, causing her sleep deprivation to the point of harming her health.Also failing to promptly treat her UTI. I also fought some minor issues for other residents, so I have been busy. But all the fighting has been verbal until this incident. Among other pet names, she has taken to calling me Don Quixote to her Dulcinea. Hey worse could happen.
