Thanks!

Jup 05 Gem 16

Sun 17 Sag 02:48
Plu 22 Vir 11 Pluto isn't finished.

Nep 22 Sco 21 Neptune isn't finished.
Mer 26 Sco 50

Mars 14 Can 17
Ura 20 Lib 56 Uranus isn't finished

I grouped the planets so you can find aspects more easily. Planets in the same group that are less than 5° from each other are either conjunct, opposite or square each other. Your Moon is square both Venus and the Sun. I think Neptune is closest to being angular measuring by the zodiac.

That should hold you till somebody else comes round to reply.

Angular Neptune (60%)
Sensitive, vulnerable, feels strongly (tunes into others deeply, not always accurately; feels exposed, over-response). Naturally absorbs & mirrors traits of others. Sympathy, compassion, empathy (or emotional drama, insecurity, easily hooked, betrayed). Lives in own reality, tenacious with their viewpoint, impervious to logic, passionate about what uniquely frames their view (forges perception of the actual from their concept of the ideal). Favors complexity over simplicity. Dwells within the unknown, choosing mystery over revelation.

Moon in Virgo
Intellectual, strategic, analytical, calculating, data-driven, efficient. Intuitive, bizarrely illogical (moody, resistant). Plays victim & retaliates (abuse, betrayal). Service, loyal, devoted, contributing. Courageous. Innocent, simple, modest; expects respect. Romantic, flirtatious; shy. Too serious. Nervous sensitivity.

Moon Sextile Mars (100%)
Active-reactive; temper. Detests idleness. Driven, competent, ambitious. Impatient, acerbic, irritable. Frank, sharp-tongued (friction in relationships). Needs physical, emotional, & mental room to breathe. Possible substance abuse. Sexual needs strong, irrepressible.

Moon Square Venus (96%)
Attractive, charming; much sexual charisma. Gracious (ingratiating), affectionate, sensual. Fond of social niceties. High frustration tolerance. (Passive-dependent, moody, can be blindsided by strong feelings, often preoccupied with whether they are liked.)

Moon square Sun (84%)
Energetic, dynamic, terrific drive, forceful. A mental-emotional attitude biased toward success. At home with power. Intense desire in whatever they undertake. High vitality (unless the luminaries are afflicted). Sexual desires also particularly strong, passionate, though often narcissistic. Possible vanity, self-exaltation, and obstinacy.

Sun in Sagittarius
Social elitism, aristocracy. Excellence, quality. Higher & higher, ambition, travel. Judges self & others, may fail own standards. Right-wrong, reward-punishment, belief- & values-driven. Respects continuity of culture & social rituals. Preserves status quo, heritage, myth when possible. Loyal to tribe. Complacent affection.

Sun Conjunct Venus (74%)
Charming, gentle, fine companions. Strong sense of friendship and natural affection. Graceful. Marked aesthetic appreciation (if not artistic talents). Most comfortable in marriage or similar relationship. (A little vain?)

Sun Sextile Uranus (67%)
Go their own way, unapologetically following their own paths. Easily bored. Loves freedom. Progressive, future-oriented, uninhibited by convention. Self-perspective usually founded in objectivity. Often deeply interested in occultism.

Sun Square Pluto (61%)
A “law unto themselves,” “the exception to the rule.” Little respect for arbitrary expectations. Antiauthoritarian, needs to be free from arbitrary or incompetent control. Comfortable as “outsider” or “congenial bad boy.” Often seems aloof, unresponsive, but rarely harsh; usually kind, “live and let live.”

Mars in Cancer
Inner strength (prodigious imagination & fantasy) usually holds private demons at bay; but clings to old wounds (angry, acting out, selfish, retaliatory from old mistreatment). Breeds confidence, makes things happen; loyal, speaks truth to power; but wants a chance to lead. Magnetic (passionate following?). Wants adoration sexually (otherwise business-like).

Mercury in Scorpio
Outspoken, opinionated, candid. Enjoys mental/verbal competition (arguments or humor). Needs intellectual freedom, resists mainstream ideas & institutional thinking. Mind sharp, strong, strategic (fault-finding). Strains nervous system (nervous irritation). Good singing voice.

Mercury Conjunct Neptune (77%)
Hyper-responsive to environment and perceptions, extreme sensitivity to sensory impressions (may include psychism). Magnifies trivialities, fixates on particulars (often perfectionists); thus, often uncanny memories. Loves puzzle- or problem-solving, often in fantasy modelling; gets much pleasure and psychological relief from fantasied problem solving. However, commonly avoids own real problems by obsessing over fantasy problems. Dreamers, story-tellers, can enthuse-enroll others and convince someone of almost anything. Many adapt readily to systematized thought-modes of math and science.

Mercury Sextile Pluto (55%)
Thinking is individual, unusual, outlier. Investigative (origins & causes), thinks deeply about things. Mind may ride the edge of normalcy (may slip off): enthusiasm, excitability, possible burnout. Impatient (irritable, easily frustrated). Instinct for abstractions.

Venus in Sagittarius
Idealist; committed to vision of world as they feel it should be. Values friendship (sees it as ennobling, honoring). Expects reliable friends (returns the same). Great need to be liked, accepted (nearly always is) & to bring value to a friendship. Warm, sociable, welcoming. Loves fun. Zealous & generous lovers. Needs affection openly declared: dislikes guessing.

Venus Opposite Jupiter (50%)
Fundamentally social creatures. Warm, friendly, giving, hospitable, gracious (reigns over social events). Nearly always liked (great need to be liked, desires positive attention and appreciation more than most, usually gets it). At home in a fine lifestyle (or as celebrity, aristocrat, etc.). Indulgent in all oral pleasures, e.g., preparing and eating fine food. Usually has an easier time through life despite sometimes harsh starts (experience unusual luck or patronage), usually partner well. Inclination to extravagance, possible “spoiled brat” attitude (risk of mild narcissism).

Mike, I love your % numbers. Have you posted somewhere how you calculate these percentages?

Angularity:

For planets within 10 degrees of horizon or meridian: cos(6*PV distance from angle)

For planets in ecliptic square within 2 degrees to horizon or meridian: cos(30*longitude distance)

For planets within 3 degrees of EP/WP: cos(20*RA distance)

If a planet has multiple angularity scores, take the largest.

Aspects:

cos((90/Max orb)*longitude from exact)

The orbs I use for natal charts are 7 degrees for conjunctions and oppositions, 6 degrees for squares, 5 degrees for sextiles and trines, 2 degrees for semisquares and sesquisquares.

This will produce a score for 100% (essential certain to be true) to 50% (as likely true as not).

An example of the comparisons that may be made:

Subjects A and B both have Sun conjunct Venus and Mars. Now A has Sun-Venus 95% and Sun-Mars 70%. I would expect A to have both traits, but Venus to dominate. Simplistically, a very loving person, who does have a notable temper. Where B is Sun-Venus 70% and Sun-Mars 95%. Simplistically, a very angry person, who can however be quite charming.

I meant to edit my post, not quote it! The formula for aspects in the second post is "correct."

Raincity, hi,

a short overview of your chart:

Sun in Sagittarius, Moon in Virgo, Mars in Cancer
(look up the interpretative resources JSAD and Mike provided you with)

The prominent clusters in the chart:
Moon is dynamically (sq) connected to Sun & Venus which are conj., and Moon partile sextile Mars (24');
Mercury is conj. Neptune;
Jupiter has two partile aspects (and incidentally, those are the only Jup. aspects): oct Uranus (39') and sex Saturn (24').

Angularity:
Neptune 8*54 from IC
