As many as 76 people overdosed on what’s believed to have been synthetic marijuana at or near a Connecticut city park as fellow parkgoers watched in horror.

this is just craziness. I would suspect some sort of mundane aspect to be going on in that area, to get 76 users all in a park in one day and have them dropping like flies (no fatalities thankfully) is mind-blowing to me.

it used to be that the only drug you could be sure about being pure and not adulterated was weed, but it seems those days are long over. its a very sad thing what is going on in this country and around the world with so many people using goodness knows what to fill in the emptyiness.

one of the main reasons I never got into popping pills and playing around with drugs was that as a wannabe chemist I did not trust what could be or could not be, made by someone else in some lab or dirty bathroom. I was always the party pooper (saturn/venus?) and said no to all those sorts of things and thankfully I have my angular Pluto to be able to be completely fine with that and not give a hoot what my peers thought.

First calls began coming in around 7:30 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. August 15 for this incident. Total numbers of poisonings is up to 81 overnight.
