A nurse who took care of Mr. Duncan is in quarantine and being tested for Ebola in Dallas. She, like other members of the team caring for him, has been self-monitoring, taking her temperature twice a day. When she saw her temp go up, she went to the hospital and was immediately placed in quarantine and samples of her blood sent to the CDC for testing.
The CDC is saying there was a breach of protocol (possibly she took her own gloves off and was exposed to the virus) that allowed her to be infected.
A very close contact of hers has been placed in quarantine and people in a four block radius of her home are being instructed in how to monitor themselves.

Somewhat scary. I know this: if Ebola is still on the rise into 2015 and 2016, I will become very concerned based on some of the SMA ingress charts I have seen for 2016.SteveS wrote:

A Doctors without Borders doctor, Craig Stevens, has been isolated at Bellevue hospital in NYC after spiking a 103º fever and complaining of nausea. Blood samples were sent to Atlanta for testing. Stevens returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea less than two weeks ago, and has been self-monitoring.
