Very happy to join a forum of intellectual people

Post by Flat out ballin »

Greetings everyone!

I'm an amateur student of astrology since a few months ago and mostly I learn astrology through Vettius Valens' book, Anthology, from Mark Riley translation. With the help of humble people, I realized that Vettius Valens uses original Zodiac doctrine compiled by Nechepso and Petosiris, but long before that time ancient Egyptian fetched the idea of Zodiac from Babylonian. I had read somewhere else that Fagan/Bradley exclusively reconstructed the meassurement of Babylonian Zodiac which is known as Sidereal Zodiac in modern eras, therefore I'm really delight to join this forum.

I'm currently a student in college and living in a low currency developing country, so I don't have money to purchase advanced software such as Solar Fire nor purchase the collection of translations classic books. However, it won't dissuade me to learn about Astrology and Sidereal Zodiac in particular. After take a look around this forum, the other positive side by join this forum would be people in this forum force me to learn how to speak proper English because I come from a non-English speaking country. So, I wish to apologize if my future posts are grammatically error.

I'm very impressed with the way people discussed in this forum and equally constructive as skyscript's forum, but only because incongruity of the majority zodiacal usage therefore I prefer to join this forum. From my low experience in Sidereal Zodiac, I usually using both Fagan/Bradley Zodiac and Aldebaran 15 Taurus Zodiac, all with Egyptian term and whole sign house because I found this method magically accurate when it comes to predicting sports event. Before the reader grew bored, the placement of my birth chart are as follow :

ASC : Aries 19°24’
MC : Capricorn 15°21’
Sun : Capricorn 5°43’
Mercury : Capricorn 0°25’Rx
Venus : Aquarius 12°36’
Mars : Capricorn 15°18’
Jupiter : Sagittarius 9°16’
Saturn : Aquarius 26°19’

*I have rectified the time of birth myself with the help of humble person

Sincerely

Sure, but I wish to anonymize the birth chart because in my experience in astrological forum, I usually being underestimated or being trolled as I come from poor country without proper teacher to learn astrology. The birth chart is as follow :

Image

I hope you don't mind if I wish to interpret the birth chart myself. This is all according to Vettius Valens. We don't have recorded birth time in birth certificate in our country therefore I'm relying on my father's memory and he said it was at 12 pm when I was born. So I start from 12 pm to rectifying the birth chart, coincidentally I remember 2 unforgettable events.

First, it was on friday, 5th May 2010. At that time I played chases with my peers, but for some reason I suddenly crashed into the wall so that my teeth broke. Then I checked the planetary transit at that time, it turned out that the Sun was square with Mars, the Sun exactly on my ASC. Second, it was on monday, 6th May 2013. At that time I was expelled from high school because I was caught drunk in the dormitory. In planetary transit, Sun was opposite with Saturn. So, I believe it was strong case for the correct birth time in my birth chart.

When I learn astrology from Vettius Valens, the ruler of the ASC isn't well placed because it was accidentally dignified in X and conjunct with the Moon and the angle. Mars also out of sect in diurnal nativities, ruling the I and VIII respectively, no wonder I have so much obstacles in my life. At that time I was expelled from high school because I was caught drunk in the dormitory. This is also why I automatically ignoring the Zodiac who identify my birth chart ruled by Venus instead of Mars after getting the wisdom from the humble people. Not to mention, the Lof of Fortune and Lot of Daimon were in the same house because it was New Moon nativity. So the obstacles even more hard for me.

Astrology in fact, helping me to prepare for physically and spiritually to get pass another obstacles in life. I'm really happy to learn about Astrology from great and humble people and hopefully I shall gather gratitous educational in the forum. Thank you very much for reading my story, I really appriciate it and may the good fortune upon you.

There's one error in the second event. On My 6, 2013, Sun at 21° Aries was far from opposition to Saturn, which was at 13° Libra.

The first event is quite exactly right, though. The Sun-Mars square at 19° Aries-Cancer.

If you trust your father's idea that you were born close to noon, a time almost an hour later seems quite a divergence; but you perhaps have the best sense of how exact he was.

Did these events happen at or near your birthplace? May I suggest another possible route to a time? (Unless you are fully satisfied with your rectification as it stands.) The event on May 5, 2010 occurs the day of your Sidereal Lunar Return, the primary predictive technique of the month. Starting with a 12:00 PM time as you did, I notice that the Lunar Return has a Saturn-Uranus opposition near the horizon. Saturn-Uranus is brilliant symbolism for a startling impact and breaking teeth! If this were exactly on angles (not that it would have to be exact), it gives a birth time of 12:36 PM. (The Lunar Return is then Saturn rising opposite Uranus setting, with Pluto conjunct your Jupiter on IC. This assumes Saturn was exactly angular, which allows Uranus to have set a bit, but the effect could have been strong it it were slightly earlier also.)

Your second event, May 6, 2013, this 12:36 PM time puts transiting Mars 1° past your Ascendant and Mercury 1° before Ascendant, which isn't bad for the event you described.

Just thinking aloud.

Your six Capricorn planets make a startling series of three exact conjunctions: Sun-Uranus 0°07', Moon-Mars 0°15', Mercury-Neptune 0°18'.

Actually the second event took a long time. I was drunk in the middle or end of March and was tried by high school officials in April, then officially released on 6th May 2013.

Maybe I need to add that this incident happened in the afternoon, around 3 pm - 4pm.
Jim Eshelman wrote: Fri Mar 15, 2019 6:36 pm Did these events happen at or near your birthplace?
No, sir. All events occur in other places, one hour later than the birth place or in other words in the west from the place of birth.
Jim Eshelman wrote: Fri Mar 15, 2019 6:36 pm May I suggest another possible route to a time? (Unless you are fully satisfied with your rectification as it stands.)
Of course, sir. I the one who should thanking you for your help. I really don't know how to repay your kindness, which helped me to rectifying my birth chart.

Because I'm very newbie on astrology so I usually use ancient predictive techniques such as profection and zodiacal releasing because this the only techniques that I learn from Valens but not quite mastering it yet. I accept your input about it despite little bit unfamiliar with modern predictive techinques and because it seems make a sense about the analysis particularly on the second event, I'm must be really stupid if I don't accept your input.

Exactly, sir. I am truly astonished with your analysis of the second event.

Would you don't mind if I add one more event?

This incident did not occur during May but occurred in June/July 2016. At that time, I was expelled from the college because my grades dropped. Unfortunately I forget when the exact time and date of this incident. This event is a bit lengthy process, almost similar to the second event.

Could you please elaborate on this, sir? I am somewhat unfamiliar with the use of the outermost planet because my study references are based on ancient doctrines from the Anthology which only use 7 visible ancient planets. Is it because of this that makes certain difficulties in the X house? Thank you in very advance way.

The new location changes everything, quite dramatically. Forget everything I said above. (More to follow.)

For May 5, 2010, it now looks like we are getting Mars to the angles - either Mars itself square transiting Sun that day, or natal Moon-Mars rising, or both. This gives a range. For example, transiting Mars setting gives a birth time of 12:27, while Moon-Mars rising gives a birth time of 12:10 PM. - As I said, a range.

The second event May 6, 2013 isn't as clear. The Lunar Return a few days earlier should be showing social embarrassment or the indulgences, but doesn't clearly show an expulsion (though it's not entirely inconsistent with it). It's just unclear.

The third event is vaguely dated. It does seem to fall under the lunar return for the four weeks beginning June 23. If true, then the noon chart is pretty close, already putting transiting Mars right on Midheaven.

To the extent we can trust the above, a time at or soon after 12:00 is emerging. Going back to transits to natal angles, 5/5/10 doesn't add anything, 5/6/13 doesn't add anything, and the third event is too vague. Looking at your locality chart for 7S35, 110E18 also didn't give anything. So we don't get a lot of reinforcement for these estimates.

If anything, it looks like 12:00 is pretty close, though I may not have enough information to say that too loudly.

You asked about your three very exact aspects (conjunctions). Here are some standard interpretations for them:

Sun conjunct Uranus. Go their own way, unapologetically following their own paths & persuaded that they’re a “special case.” Resourceful, stimulating, but easily bored (in need of frequent stimulation). Love of freedom: bow to no authority but themselves. Progressive, future-oriented, uninhibited by convention. Adept at creative problem solving. Self-perspective usually founded in objectivity.

Moon conjunct Mars. Active & reactive, temperamental, thinks & acts rapidly. Detests idleness, rarely still. Driven, competent, ambitious. Impatient, acerbic, irritable. Too frank & sharp-tongued (hence friction in close relationships). Needs physical, emotional, & mental “room to breathe” (little domestic instinct). Substance abuse not uncommon. Sexual needs strong, almost irrepressible.

Mercury conjunct Neptune. Hyper-responsive to environment and perceptions, extreme sensitivity to sensory impressions (may include psychism). Magnifies trivialities, fixates on particulars (often perfectionists); thus, often uncanny memories. Loves puzzle- or problem-solving, often in fantasy modelling; gets much pleasure and psychological relief from fantasied problem solving. However, commonly avoids own real problems by obsessing over fantasy problems. Dreamers, story-tellers, can enthuse-enroll others and convince someone of almost anything. Many adapt readily to systematized thought-modes of math and science.
