Outer planets signs

Post by Soft Alpaca »

I had a question about the signs if outer planets in relevance to their signs.

Normally in fact never have I paid attention to them. Just curious however if an outer planet aspects a luminary or is angular, does more of its signs theme show up un that native versus someone who has the same outer placement with no luminary or angular strength?

For example my Pluto, Jupiter, and Saturn? Saturn and Jupiter are in Aries (Mars-Pluto-Sun themed) and Pluto in Scorpio (Mars-Uranus themed).

That's 3 higheted planets all with an overlaying Mars themes. Does that mean there is a Mars theme to my personality (and how much strength would it display, with 3 planets whose themes are important in my chart).

Getting away from my chart I wonder about this when I read my friends and families charts as well.

It's actually the other way around: It plays up the luminary's sign more. Jupiter in Pisces sextile a Taurus Sun doesn't play up Jupiter in Pisces, but it does flare up the Taurus quality of Sun even more, as if Jupiter and Venus are both heavily modifying Sun (as they are).

Pluto in Scorpio square a Leo Moon int like "Pluto in Scorpio is more emphasized;" instead, it's like Sun and Pluto are both powerfully modifying Moon.

Ok very interesting Jim. In my case I see it changes the face of Leo Moon quiet a bit. So It doesn't always mean that the signs emphasizes increases?

Also is there any foot hold with Mars and this ideology? For example if someone had an angular planet aspecting Mars would the Mars sign get modified?

Do you mean: Is Mars' sign one of the factors influencing it along with the aspects? Yes.

E.g., Venus square Mars in Capricorn is going to be foremost a Venus-Mars aspect, but secondarily as if Venus and Saturn were together conditioning Mars.
