Also known as the 1919 Key West Hurricane. After striking the Bahamas as a weaker storm, it reached the Florida Keys, first striking the Dry Tortugas early September 10 with the 150 mph wind force of a what would later be called a Category 4 intensity.

772 deaths, $22 million in damages, 150 mph winds.
