This keener observation, acuity, quick assessment, and quick response either is, or looks like, intelligence.

If you mean natal Sun-Mars, then I have to say a quick Yes because statistics show that 100% of people with natal Sun-Mars aspects die. If you mean transits, then I'd change my answer and say that one expression can be injury and injury can sometimes lead to loss of life.
