2019 Baseball World Series
2019 Baseball World Series
The 2019 Baseball World Series begins Tuesday Oct 22 between the Houston Astros (Houston, Texas) and the Washington Nationals (DC). Which team first wins 4 games out of a possible total 7 games wins the Series. The game's schedule are:
1: Tue Oct 22
2: Wed Oct 23
3: Fri Oct 25
4: Sat Oct 26
5: Sun Oct 27 (if necessary)
6: Tue Oct 29 (if necessary)
7: Wed Oct 30 (if necessary)
Al games will end app 11:00 PM EST
Using Sidereal Mundane Astrology (SMA) with Jim's great analysis for 50 Super Bowls, I really don't need to go too deep into the stack of SMA charts to see Houston has very high % to win this Series. Beginning Oct 26 which will be the first date for a possible winner through Oct 30 for the possible end of the Series, I quickly see Houston Texas has t. Jupiter from Oct 26-Oct 30 partile cnj Houston's Capsolar Ascendant!!! The Capsolar is the Master Chart of the Year for any location using Sidereal Mundane Astrology. And Jim's work has proven daily charts using transits are very reliable for appropriate symbolism for winners/losers.
Vegas has made Houston a -225 favorite, and Washington a +185 underdog. This means a bettor has to risk a bet of 225 $ on Houston to win 100 $. I don't like these odds but SMA proven by Jim's statistical analysis on 50 Super Bowl winners/losers has a 80% historical probability of being correct. With t. Jupiter partile cnj Houston's Capsolar ASC for the last 4 games of this Series, I would raise this winning % probability to 90% based on my experience using SMA in sports betting. But, because of the high unfavorable Vegas betting odds for the bettor on Houston, I will only bet a small recreational bet on Houston winning this World Series. Remember—there is no such thing in sports betting for a sure winning bet, and never ever bet more $ than you can't afford to lose.
Jim, when/if you have time please offer us your detailed SMA analysis for this World Series.

Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
I've tended to skip the World Series forecasting rather than idly looking because one doesn't know what day it will end. Nonetheless, this looks like a staggeringly good run for Houston.
I think, were we to do a test on World Series runs, we might find that the Libsolar (always right before the series) is an important chart. That might be an easy, worthwhile study. Setting up the Libsolar for Houston (we already know it's harsh for Washington), I find Jupiter within a degree of Ascendant! In fact, the most positive key of the current Libsolar (quite background for Washington) is Moon opposite Jupiter, which is right across the horizon at Houston. Speaking of excellence in athletics, take a look at the mundoscope for this Houston Libsolar:
-4°32' Mars on MC
+0°07' Jupiter on Asc
+2°17' Moon on Dsc
25°22' Tau Moon
25°55' Sco Jupiter
26°42' Sco Ascendant
An idle side-observation, but perhaps interesting because it is so close, the positive star Deneb, the tail of the swan, even though it is at 11° Aquarius, is 0°00' from Ascendant of this Libsolar for Houston.
Considering that Jupiter is also transiting the Houston Capsolar Ascendant, crossing it exactly on October 30, I think we can say that the closer it gets to October 30, the happier everyone in Houston will feel.
However, it won't start well for them. CapQ IC October 22 is brutal for Houston with two Marses across the horizon and ingress Saturn on IC (to be followed by transiting Saturn a day later). If you could lose the World Series in a single game, Houston would have a hard time surviving. The CapQ doesn't show transiting Saturn clearing IC by 2° until beyond the 26th, so (on the "pick losers, not winners" basis) it's at least possible that Houston won't leave the "loser" tunnel until four games have come and gone, which flips the entire thing on its head.
As I type, the betting strategy that comes to mind is to wait a game or two on the theory that Houston will lose a couple of games and the odds will shift much more in your favor; then bet on Houston winning in the 6th or 7th game (as close to the 30th as possible).
Switching to the DC side - we watch these charts all the time and they aren't positive for the year or quarter. However, they start well, since transiting Sun opposite Capsolar Uranus falls exactly on Capsolar MC and square CapQ MC on the 22nd. Unless something else in Washington absorbs this Sun-Uranus (there's a lot of negative going on in the national chart around the 20th and thereafter!), I'd say the Nationals feel like champs with a future on the 22nd. They don't really have any more CapQ crossings after that except Uranus on Dsc on the 24th, when (if these charts are all about the Series) things seem to flip. The CanQ then fills in the gaps for "nothing on the CapQ" days: On the 28th (with a day or two bleed for orb either side) DC has CanQ Asc exactly hitting a Mars-Saturn square, suggesting they feel mortally wounded about the 28th. (Asc sq. ingress Saturn is the next day.) Transiting Mars (always square one or another Saturn) stays on Washington's CapQ Descendant until the end of the series.
CONCLUSION: The "big picture" charts say Houston wins the Series. The shorter-term charts show Houston at a serious disadvantage for the first four games, improving the closer they get to the 30th, and DC totally falling apart at the end. If Houston can survive the first four games against hard odds, they will win the Series. Official prediction: Houston wins in the 7th game.

Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
I think if you were to do seven separate day-by-day analyses, the above would have caught the snapshot for each day. I do consider it a complication that the Nationals are playing, since charts for Washington hit at so many levels (and it's hard to know, on a given day, what story will most absorb the attention of the majority of people in and around Washington, which is critical to the theory of this method).
I probably won't have time to do a day-by-day workup, but can you give the expected time of game conclusion each day? (Or maybe you did above and I read too fast.)

Jim wrote in his most excellent Sidereal Mundane Astrology analysis for this Baseball World Series:
Jim, because I clearly understand where you are coming from pertaining to SMA with your above words for your World Series analysis, I have made the following bet:
Washington to win this series in four straight games. 20 $ risk to win 500 $ at +2500. Here are the complete betting odds for all the possibilities for the amount of games it will take for either team to win this Series, and total # of games in the Series:
The amount of games it takes for each team to win Series:

I suspected you'd do something like that - which gives you big leverage on the other side. I'll try to get to game-by-game breakdowns but no promises I'll succeed. For Houston to win the series, of course, they have to win one of the first four and (without looking too closely yet) my gut says they win #3; but we'll see.

Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
Jim, this Series has some of the most interesting contrasting SMA symbolism I have ever seen for a sporting event. Its going to be a fun Series for me to bet . I am on the same page with you about those first two games in Houston offering absolute brutal CapQ Mars-Saturn symbolism for Houston Fans. I am also on the same page with you if this Series makes it to the 7th game---Houston has a huge advantage with t. Jupiter on Houston's Capsolar ASC. BUT, also check-out Houston's CanQ on the 30th ! I am taking your advice and betting 20 $ on Washington at +190 for the first game on Oct 22, for a possible 38 $ win. And then the closer we get to the 30th (7th game) the more I favor Houston winning the Series. Thanks again for your input.

I'm not done, but I just did Astro CapQ for each day (see above) and they have worse problems than I thought. Saturn doesn't leave until the last two games.

Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
Steve, this one is tough. I think the path through is on the theory that the World Series doesn't work quite the same as the Super Bowl because of the multi-game structure.
If I were judge this by Super Bowl rules, it comes out: The first four games are clear examples of Houston losing and the last three are clear examples of Houston winning and DC losing. However, if Houston did indeed lose the first four then, hey, it's over and we don't have to worry about the last three.
I wish I'd already done a World Series research project so I could speak with authority on what I'm about to say; instead, it's just a theory. The theory is that, (1) while Super Bowls are best judged by picking losers, the World Series is probably a mix of "judge winners and losers," and (2) there likely needs to be a separate judgement not just game by game but about the Series overall.
To spell that out for the current charts:
Let's start with the easy part: If Houston survives the first four, the Astros will win each of the last three games. Saturn is out of the way and the double-Jupiter shines through (or triple-Juiter, if the CanQ gets a vote on the grounds that the CapQ doesn't give a decisive win-lose by itself.)
In passing, I want to draw your attention to Game 5. As that game ends, and exact New Moon forms at 9 Libra opposite Uranus 9 Aries with Washington, DC CapQ MC 10 Cancer. It looks sensational for them except really all that it says is that they get outstanding attention for something sensational. It doesn't give a clear win-lose, though it's sensational. Because there isn't a clear win-lose, I look to the CanQ and, wow, Mars + Saturn. I think they shock everyone by doing really badly, given that CanQ.
Therefore, we we're only concerned with the first four games.
I think the Libsolar's Moon-Jupiter exactly angular and the Jupiter transit to the Capsolar Ascendant for Houston are so strong that they'll carry the Series. But, for that to be true, Houston has to win one of the first four games. That's impossible if this works according to Super Bowl "pick the loser" findings, but not so bad if we get to weigh good against bad and pick a winner or loser on balance.
So, let's go game by game:
Game 1 is simply miserable for Houston. Nationals open with excitement and Astros are buried, (They have a mix of good and bad, but the bad is peaking pretty hard.)
Game 2 is at least as hard for them, maybe worse. Essentially the same as Game 1 but with more rocks piled atop them.
Game 3 doesn't shift much. DC has Sun-Uranus but, ah, they also get angular Moon which tends to make teams a little wimpier. Houston still has a couple of Saturns up etc., but transiting Jupiter is now partile. I suppose they'll lose this third game, but with a sense n the wind of something changing.
Which leaves Game 4 for the turn-around. It's not that much different, but it's a little different. One of the Saturns has backed off Houston and a third Jupiter has appeared. DC is a little more lunar and is feeling a little more pain.
It's still not great for Houston, but it's the best of the four.
So, to repeat and summarize: If I judge this by Super Bowl rules, Houston loses, day-by-day, for the first four and never gets to here it has a win lined up. But I'm thinking there is a different effect here, that it' not just "pick the loser by any Saturn in the primary charts," but, rather, a more complex win-lose balance. I'm also considering that (1) Houston fans take baseball very serious these days and (2) Houston, having a recent Series win to its credit, isn't going to be "honored just by being nominated" - all that Jupiter isn't going to fulfill itself unless they outright win. That being the case, I think the most likely scenario is that the Nationals win the first three games and the Astros win the last four.

Jim, I clearly understand all of your analysis for this World Series and agree with what you are seeing based on your SMA Super Bowls Report. Thanks, it will be a fun Series for me to monitor through the lens of Sidereal Mundane Astrology with Fan Psychology for these two locations.
Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
Here are Vegas Lines for tonight's first game of the World Series. Houston is a considerable favorite:
Houston -190 (a bettor has to risk 190 $ to win 100 $ for a Houston win)
Washington +180 (a bettor can risk 100 $ for a 180 $ gain if Washington wins)
Sidereal Mundane Astrology with Houston's tonight's CapQ (daily chart) clearly shows losing symbolism (Mars-Saturn) for the fan's of Houston. CapQs statistically proves to be the most reliable mundane chart in the field of Sidereal Mundane Astrology, as proven by Jim's intensive research work with Sidereal Mundane Astrology. Also, with Jim's research work with 50 Super Bowls, Saturn on the angles of Sidereal Mundane Astrology charts is highly reflective for showing the losing team, more so than Jupiter on the angles for winning teams. Jim, if I have misrepresented your work with my above words, please correct.
Here is Jim's SMA work-up for tonight's game:

It will most interesting to see if the heavy Saturn symbolism on Houston's CapQ wins out with Houston losing tonight vs t. Jupiter 1,46 cnj Houston's Capsolar Asc and s. Jupiter on Houston's CanQ MC (0,23). All of this Jupiter symbolism on Houston's SMA charts shy me away from betting a large amt on Washington to win tonight's game--so I have bet 20 $ (the minimum I can bet with my bookie) on Washington to win tonight's game for a possible winning of 36 $. Time will soon tell.Game 1

Game 1: Washington 5--Houston 4. My good friend and I are letting our last night winnings ride on Washington + 165 with tonight's game. Houston's Mars-Saturn CapQ (daily chart) manifested perfectly for Houston's Fans last night with their team's loss, and all of Jim's main guidelines in his Super Bowl Report worked-out perfectly in last night's game. Later, I will try to post some of Jim's main points in his Super Bowl Report emphasizing Sidereal Mundane Astrology with last night's Houston's loss, and these same malefic points are still in play for Houston Fans with tonight's game. In tonight's game, Houston has their Ace pitcher on the mound, and if Houston loses tonight their fans will be feeling even more-- the 'pernicious' psychological energy of Mars-Saturn.

of future games. Such a pattern was found. It allows prediction of 90% of the games, and is accurate for 84% of the games for which prediction is possible.

So Jim for your Sidereal Mundane Astrology writings. They are sheer brilliance for the serious mundane astrologer. The Houston Astros fired somebody or other in management today for shouting "THANK GOD WE GOT ACBUNA" or whatever the name of the guy suspended for domestic violence is, at female reporters at a clubhouse celebration after the first game and then trying to claim Sports Illustrated made up the story.
So watch out for that in your aspect balance. It's kind of a big deal in the press.

Hence (probably) the Mercury (press) that slipped into Houston's mix today
They still have a couple of days of really hard charts, though by tomorrow's game an extra Jupiter slips into the mix and, by Saturday, one more Jupiter.
It was their assistant general manager.

Definitely, which would not surprise me if Houston wins tonight's game or tomorrow's night game. Exactly Jim! Mars-Saturn is still prominently on Houston's CapQ angles which IMO, is the main symbolic Sidereal Mundane Astrology reason/cause Houston lost their first two games in Houston. I guarantee you Houston's Fan Base is feeling this potent malefic SMA CapQ Mars-Saturn factor, more so with each loss. I will ride this Mars-Saturn trend one more game by betting all of my winnings less the 20 $ bet on Wash going 4-0 in the Series. This means if Wash loses tonight's game—the worst case outcome is I break even if I stop betting the Series. If Wash wins tonight, I will bank my profits by making a hedge bet on Houston winning the 4th game of the Series explained later, but first things first, lets see if Wash can win another game tonight. Regardless the final betting outcome, this is a most fun-Moon-Jupiter-Neptune (my current SSR) betting Series for me regarding my passion for Sidereal Mundane Astrology (thanks to your SMA research adeptship) applied to losing/winning teams with Championship games. They still have a couple of days of really hard charts,

Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
Tonight's 3rd series game Vegas has Houston a -140 favorite and Wash a +130 underdog. So far not once has Vegas had Wash favored to win a game, and so far Wash has won both games. In tonight's game there is a very rare transiting paran falling on Houston's CapQ angles, t. Mars (ST 07:09:07) on Houston's CapQ ASC (ST 07:08:44), and t. Saturn falling on Houston's CapQ IC (ST 07:05:18); with t. Mars partile 90 t. Saturn. Never in all my analyzing mundane charts have I ever seen a transiting Mars-Saturn paran configuration like this one. Houston's CapQ 360 Circle and its primary angles are partile squared. Cyril Fagan the father of modern Sidereal Astrology recognized Parans as the most potent of all astrological aspects.
What is the psychology of the Houston Baseball fans? They know if their team does not win tonight it will signal a death blow to their team's chances of winning the World Series. Let's see if this transiting Mars-Saturn paran on Houston's CapQ angles tonight does symbolize a potent death blow to the Houston Fans with their team losing tonight's game.

Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
My first prediction, therefore has come true: I said specifically that after Houston lost the first two games the betting odds would improve for betting on Houston
I think Houston will lose tonight, too, but I don't know that it's a death knell. So far, everything has gone according to predicted plan. The underlying question of this series, though, is: Does this work exactly like the Super Bowl, which you judge game by game? Or, since it isn't a single-game event, do the longer-term ("umbrella") factors like the Libsolar and transits to Capsolar angles prevail?
Houston raised this interesting problem because the real, honest, complete breakdown is that if they played seven games Washington would win the first four and Houston the last three. However, the "umbrella" factors show this as being a super positive season overall for Houston, which can only come about if they win the series.
So, what I think is the second most likely outcome is that Houston loses tonight and tomorrow night, thus losing the series in four games.
However, what I will still ride with as the most likely outcome is that Houston loses tonight, then wins tomorrow and the following three games, coming back to win the series.
It will be quite interesting and instructive to see how this comes out. If they lose, one has to wonder what great Jupiter event is planned for Houston closer to Halloween.

Game 3: Houston 4-1; Wash leads series 2-1. Jim, I am going to wait until 6th game for possible betting again, and hope Wash is leading 3-2 games where I can bet on Houston winning the Series with good betting odds. Jim, I will have a specific SMA question for you with the 6th game.
For the first time in this Series Vegas has Wash a slight favorite in tonight's game. Wash -115; Houston +105.
Winning the World Series odds: Houston Even; Wash -120

The Astros are mopping up, tonight!
So it may not be Astros in 7. (It could be, but, with the charts, it's more likely to be Astros in 6.) I'm still really intrigued with the Game 5 setup, though - that New Moon opposite Uranus.

When we strike a New Moon chart (link below) for DC we see Mars partile cnj DC's IC and partile 90 Saturn! Not a good sign for DC. It appears to me since t. Jupiter entered partile conjunction to Houston's Capsolar Asc, the momentum of this Series has completely shifted in favor (Jupiter) to the Astro's. Regardless of tonight's outcome for the game, Houston's Q charts for games 6 & 7(if necessary) along with this t. I agree. If Astro's win tonight, I think most likely Astro's win in 6. Wash has a nasty CanQ for the 6th game and I would be somewhat surprised Wash wins game 6. Indeed! AND, note DC's New Moon at 09,24 Lib 180 t. Uranus at 09,36 Ari is partile 90 DC' CapQ MC/IC axis. This could be symbolizing some type of unexpected (Uranus), emotional (Moon) dramatics for this 5th game in DC. Jupiter on Houston's Capsolar Asc are powerful benefic charts for Houston winning this Series. And this New Moon chart along for DC is an ominous malefic sign for DC!

Astro's -150; Wash +140

Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
Trump was at the game last night after announcing the al-Baghdadi kill.
At the end of the third inning a salute to the troops drew wild applause and cheers, but when the camera panned to Trump, the cheers changed to booing and hecking and chants of lock him up.
Not what he expected. But thanking the Russians before thanking the troops was beyond tone deaf and claiming he didn't notify the Congressional leadership before he notified the Russians because they might leak it deserved the boos it drew.
I think that fits right in with the Moon Uranus and Mars Saturn aspects.

Pretty impressive Jim. Washington winning the first two you called it. Houston winning the next three, you didn’t. But, you had Houston winning game 5 and they did. I’m impressed even more if Houston does win tonight in 6

So far, an excellent call Jim. I will no longer rely on the Q charts for single games unless the game in the series is for the Championship, although the CapQs for the first 2 games of the Series predicted accurately Houston's losses. The daily Q charts as a whole showed inconsistency, imo. I would be very if Houston did not win this World Championship tonight based on the statistical analysis in your Super Bowl Report for 50 Super Bowls.CONCLUSION: The "big picture" charts say Houston wins the Series.

I wonder what went wrong with the prediction besides it’s not easy to predict who will win each game. I assume interpreting the data is tricky and there might be another variable that was not looked at.
Most baseball buffs had this game going 6 or 7 games. That’s not the hard part. The hard part is which team will when each game. I never would have guessed it went the way it has so far but I did think I’d go 6-7 games. So it’s cool Jim got the first two games and the 5th but what happened with games 3,4 and 6?

Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
In the beginning of the analysis, I stated that one of the questions we have not explored is whether the World Series, being a multi-game contest, is to be judged on the game-by-game basis of the Super Bowl or on a different basis (single Series decision). I won't have a solid answer here until I do a full World Series study.
But what I suspect is the case is that the correct way of deciding is to pick the final Series winner, with the idea that intervening games don't interfere with that.
If one picked game-by-game - as if you were picking several individual Super Bowls etc. - then Houston would have lost the first four games - meaning they would have lost the Series before they ever got a chance to win the last three. This would have contradicted the larger picture that they would win the Series, but would have been consistent with the single-match sports like football.
OTOH, maybe the larger framework is the correct one: The Jupiter transits to the Capsolar plus the Jupiter-rising Libsolar showed Houston would win, nothing in the individual game outcome could ten contradict it. Based on this, I knew that (despite the day to day) Houston had to win either the 3rd or 4th game (which they were pegged to lose), and I picked the 4th because it was slightly better. Instead, they won the 3rd.
I think we will find that the best strategy for the World Series is to pick the Series winner and not sweat the individual games more than necessary.

Washington Nationals won. Wonder what happened?
Game 1- correct
Game 2-correct
Game 3- incorrect
Game 4-incorrect
Game 5-correct
Game-6-incorrect
Game 7-incorrect
Overall game by game was less than half correct at 43%
Overall prediction of Houston winning was incorrect.
Joe Buck said 400 people had perfect brackets as of yesterday before game 7 of the World Series. I’d guess at least 100 are still perfect yet astrology here couldn’t come near that. It’s hard to trust it.

Washington wins World Series for the first time in their history. I have analyzed dozens of championships games using Sidereal Mundane Astrology, and never have I been so to see Houston not win this series with all its angular Jupiter symbolism. But, their is one rare angular planetary combo I have seen in sporting contests which stuns & shocks reversing Vegas odds and that is Uranus-Pluto! Washington's Capsolar featured angular Uranus-Pluto and Washington was the underdog in 95% of its games in the entire post season. The lesson I learned with this World Series: Angular Uranus-Pluto in a Solar Ingress, particularly the Capsolar---expect the unexpected in shocking ways!

For me to be sold this would have had to be talked about before the World Series began and it wasn’t even mentioned that Washington would surprise anyone because of it.SteveS wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2019 5:26 am Washington wins World Series for the first time in their history. I understand exactly where you are coming from James. But you never gave Jim or I credit with our correct predictions in the past using Sidereal Mundane Astrology, 80% accuracy . I saw a glimpse of the possibility Washington may pull off the impossible by winning this Series with Vegas not giving em a change. When I saw Washington win the first two games in Houston (Oct 23), which Jim correctly predicted, I suspected there was some major symbolism that was overlooked with Washington's stack of Sidereal Mundane Astrology charts, which may be symbolizing Washington wins the Series. If you will go to the following link https://www.solunars.com/viewtopic.php? ... 084#p27084 you will see where I wrote with a post Oct 24 the following. For me to be sold this would have had to be talked about before the World Series began and it wasn’t even mentioned that Washington would surprise anyone because of it.
But, I was still surprised Houston did not win the 7th game with all the Jupiter symbolism on their charts. But still, Sidereal Mundane Astrology based on Jim's 50 Super Bowl report has a 84% prediction accuracy for picking winners/losers. And, if you will go back and look at the predictions I have made in this Topic, you see where Sidereal Mundane Astrology has allowed me to predict 80% accuracy. This means every 1 out of 5 games will have the wrong prediction. James, it takes serious study of Jim's 50 Super Bowl Report to understand its merit for the sports better. I am getting ready to use Jim's Sidereal Mundane Astrology with a major championship game again for a upcoming Nov 9th game which may win me an expense paid trip to Vegas on Super Bowl weekend. I will soon start posting about this game in this topic but I need to wait and see the Line Vegas puts out on the Nov 9 game, which will be out Nov 3 in order to know for sure if my friend and I will bet on this game.Using 20-20 hindsight, I see with 2019 Capsolar Sun-Pluto non-dormant on the Eastpoint as major political party power situations in DC. But I also see with Uranus & Pluto angular the Washington Nationals baseball team reversing the Vegas odds on the World Series. Also, I now think that background partile 90 of Jupiter-Neptune is wild happiness for the baseball fans of DC, even more so with a possible World Series win.

Re: 2019 Baseball World Series
James, it's a fair assessment that we were simply wrong. I'm not sure why - I stated at the beginning (I think I did, at least) that I have tended to skip World Series prediction because I don't know yet the nature of the problem. I need to do a separate World Series project like the Super Bowl project.
This particular series was interesting as all get-out astrologically. (Also interesting on it's own: There's never been a series where the home team has lost every single game!) The games had wide swings, whatever team won tended to do it by several points, so they weren't all that even on a given night but were more even across the week.
This series also chastened my presupposition that the Libsolar is of unusual importance for the Series.

Yes you did state that you didn’t have enough experience predicting the World Series. I am glad you admit an error. It shows you aren’t trying to bs.
I do believe in time someone(s) will be able to predict more accurately day to day events and individual events/actions. I think we aren’t there yet.
Of course, more pressure and criticism goes to the astrologers who are doing the work like Jim and Steve and so forth. I do acknowledge that I haven’t learned how to use advanced astrological methods in order for myself to experiment.
I am on the side of trial and error and taking the risks.
