After long delays, the Senate just approved the new Attorney General.

I expected Jupiter on a quotidian angle in Washington ("a good day in Washington," diplomacy, success, justice), and maybe some Sun to highlight the administration's win. Checking the Washington CapQ I find transiting Jupiter square CapQ Asc, and CapQ MC conjunct Capsolar Sun.

Speaking of a Jupiter day for the country, Nasdaq just closed at an all-time high from 15 years ago.(This despite the fact that the DJIA roughly broke even.)

I'd completely missed that - thanks for mentioning it. (All the interruption news I was getting dealt with the approval after five months and the Nasdaq.)

The CanQ has Pluto exactly angular, which might be this secondary theme (though usually we don't have to look that deep if the CapQ has something to say). The Caplunar (which is still "chart of the week") has Neptune rising for DC, maybe that's the embarrassing incident?
