It's come to my attention that many Solar Fire users don't know the keystroke commands - especially involving the Function (F) keys on the top row of their keyboards - that make using Solar Fire much faster and more efficient. Here is a summary of useful commands organized in a way that I hope will make their patterns obvious and make them easier to memorize.
Notice that a few are simply the standard function that all Windows programs have (e.g., F1 for Help, Ctrl+P for Print, Ctrl+S for Save (in this case, saving your current setting). Half of them use the Ctrl key, and a few use the separate keypad (e.g., the enormously useful Ctrl+Ins).
As an example of efficiency, when I work up an event in the Mundane Astrology section I'm mostly moving back and forth across F4, F5, and F6.
F1 - Help (SF User's Guide)
F2 - New chart
F3 - Open chart from file
F4 - Transits, Progressions, Directions
F5 - Returns & Ingresses

F7 - Combined (Synastry options)
F9 - Rising/Setting etc. times
F11 - Lunar phases
F12 - Save chart
Shift+F12 - Relocation

Ctrl+O - Clone selected chart
Ctrl+Z - Toggle selected chart's zodiac
