Da Vinci, Leonardo. April 14, 1452 OS, 9:43 PM LMT, Vinci, Italy (AA).
Renay, Liz. April 14, 1926, 6:00 AM, Chandler, AZ (AA).
Da Vinci's family diary recorded, "A grandson of mine was born April 15, Saturday, three hours into the night." Florentine time measured from sunset, which occurred a6 6:53 PM LMT, so three hours later was 9:53 PM LMT on April 14 (as now measured). (This was April 23 NS.) - I'm not sure why Arthur Blackwell gave 9:46 PM, though the difference is theoretical since this time is only given to the nearest hour.
Of several female possibilities, I picked Liz Renay as somebody audacious an colorful enough to stand beside Leonardo. The other possibilities were successful yet typical and sedate.
