It's another player, yes (and don't forget the Moon-Jupiter square that's part of it). Three considerations:

1. The Capsolar is stronger than a Quarter chart like the Cansolar. They can show different events but don't contradict each other per se (and, especially, the Quarter chart doesn't negate the stronger Capsolar). Also, in particular, we have many, many examples showing that Jupiter doesn't stop bad things from happening (at most, it deflects them to an adjacent time period; but, if there's no option for that, then the event just happens).

2. Not every chart in an event-stack shows the event. We have several examples where one chart seems to drop out or be a bystander or contradict the overall trend. Right now we have a very strong consistency of things shown in the Capsolar: (A) The Capsolar has Uranus and Pluto right on the anles. (B) Every single lunar ingress for months has a close (mostly partile) Moon-Uranus aspect. (C) Were in the middle of a CapQ Moon-Uranus progressed conjunction, which is also partile to the Capsolar MC. These three things cause the year, bridge, month, and week to all agree with each other independent of what the quarter chart might be saying.

3. When all the charts in one direction and then there is also Jupiter, we expect the event to be in a Jupiter situation. For example, if Jupiter is afflicted, it could be economic crisis or (with Saturn or Uranus) structural collapses. In general, Jupiter in disaster charts these days seems to mean that if it's naturally caused, it's from the weather (especially rain, flooding, etc.), and if it's human caused it's from religious, ethnic, or similar bigotry. That is, Jupiter becomes more of an adjective.

4. For DC, don't forget that there is a Moon-Neptune mundane square, too.

The question you raise BTW is why my monthly forecast describes the Cansolar as a "parallel story" to the Capsolar. I don't want to negate, weaken, or contradict the Capsolar's message in any way, but want to recognize the Cansolar's message, so I wrote of them as side-by-side stories. To use a not-quite-on parallel, we often see, in daily indicators, that the CapQ tells the main story ("at the bullfight, the bullfighter was gored and killed by the bull") and the CanQ, if it doesn't simply agrees, tells side details and end up usually being true but almost out of anybody's normal reference of the event ("...and the sunlight reflected beautifully off the spilled pools of blood, so that altogether it was a lovely day").

Yes, and when we see no significant events from a SMA DC Chart, don’t we have to allow the angular symbolism to reflect the psychological moods of the White House which holds the power. Here is what my mind is reading, for now:

1: The Capsolar (first 6 months) turned the political scene upside down with Trump completely blowing-up the Republican Party, also associated with racial tensions caused by Trump in part.

2: Since the Moon-Jupiter Cansolar, everything seems to be back too normal politically in DC. Trump is sinking like a rock and the Dem’s in power in the White House have to be enjoying (Moon-Jupiter) Clinton’s polling data. Racial tensions have eased. I am reading a distinct Jupiter mood in the White House from a power political standpoint.

I mean, it’s like the Non-Dormant Cansolar just took over things from a psychological standpoint and stopped the main symbolism of the Capsolar from manifesting. The Country seems much more at ease.

Agreed. There is at least the appearance of normalcy. I do think that this is part of the unrealistic optimism of Jupiter-Neptune (not just Jupiter - you can't get this Cansolar without including the Neptune elements, at least for U.S.).

And, in particular, I'm not going to use that Jupiter to make me overly comfortable on September 11 this year. It might indeed lighten the threat level, or it migt just make the threat more Jupiter-like. For 9/11/16, we have the current Capsolar that you know so well... and then CapQ Moon is progressed to within 1° of conjunct it's Uranus, minutes away from square Capsolar MC (exact to MC 9/3)... and then every lunar ingress for months with a close Moon-Uranus square... then we get a Caplunar with nothing but Moon-Uranus on the angles and a little Pluto... then we get a Canlunar that is possibly the single worst lunar ingress of the year and lasts for an entire month (due to intervening dormant lunar ingresses)... and THEN we get transiting Mars square Cansolar Ascendant AND conjoin Cansolar Moon... and the day this all exists at the same time is September 11.

With something like that, I don't care if the Cansolar has Jupiter on the angles, y'know? I'm going to call for extra caution.

I completely understand Jim, and your more in-depth sight with SMA is indeed caution for concern for Sept 11. The Stock Market is acting like it is waiting on something negative to send it down. After making slight all time highs around the Cansolar, its doing absolutely nothing but just sitting at the the same prices. I do know this for sure: I have learned much more about SMA this year than previous years with the non-dormant Cap/Can solars. Their angular planetary symbolism has been spot on, particularly the Capsolar for DC.

I'm quite surprised the market remains mostly horizontal. I expected optimism racing to the cliff - I guess the general air of uncertainty is making that hard. (But I'm not going to change my prediction on that until the quarter is over. Fair is fair.)

I really don't understand what is uncertain that concerns the market. But I know this after 49 years of closely watching/studying markets. When a market makes new highs on monthly/yearly charts and does not climb higher as time passes--it is pause for concern. The markets have an uncanny ability to predict/see the future.

Some thoughts about that:

1. The election has strong trade-related issues, and fairly polarized positions. This gives uncertainty for markets of all kinds.

2. One candidate is starkly set (if you believe him) on alienating our strongest allies. That makes for a dangerous world, and one unsuitable for trade (unless your business is war machinery).

3. Choices made in this country will have strong, disproportionate effect on foreign economies.

4. The general tone of the country is destabilized and uncertain. That uncertainty affects confidence, and doesn't have to have anything specifically related to business or markets.

5. The Fed is rehearsing the High Confidence Concerto, and so interest rates are likely to go up before the year is up (probably after the election in that volatile time). For some reason, this tiny changes have a disproportionately large affect on investors, who have been seen several times holding their breath wondering when the next tenth of a percentage point will drop.

SteveS wrote:Then, if the market is uncertain about this election, we would have to see a close election with Trump winning. There is no way my mind can see Trump winning, but I will hold out for final personal betting purposes with the polls a day before election. I don't know Jim, but it sure has been a strange Election cycle. I can't see an up-tick in interest rates affecting the markets long term. This Country is enjoying some of the lowest interest rates in its modern history. Warren Buffet is a very savvy market investor and is a strong supported of Clinton, so a Clinton Victory--I don't see hurting the market. But, as I stated, it appears 'something' about the future is bothering the market.

I expected the Cansolar, with its Jupiter-Neptune emphasis, to mark a good year for the movies.

I don't know what the grosses were, but, as we round the New Year and look toward the Academy Awards, I realize this has been one of the finest years of quality new films in quite a few years.
