My friend's-- good friend business partner dies suddenly, Demi-SLR.
The outstanding death incident is clearly portrayed by DSLR Venus partile 135 DSLR Saturn 1,47 cnj DSLR IC.

Or, instead, I'd have noted the Sun, exactly on MC, opposed by Saturn on IC (as part of Saturn-Pluto on IC).

Indeed Jim. The Venus-Saturn I think symbolizes a childhood friend of over 50 years who became a business partner. Lots of love (Venus) there. It was the friend business partner who got my friend into a very profitable business---literally save his business career and turned his life around from a very depressed economic condition.

I like the symbolism. On a technical note, though, I'm not persuaded that semi-squares and sesqui-squares are operative in lunar return charts (especially when the core event can be read from 90° aspects tightly foreground).

Did the natal planets bring anything further to this?

I understand Jim. Took a quick look at his natal but remember seeing nothing outstanding.
