Last Sat Aug 1 I had an accident while working in my yard. I was weed eating and severely turned my angle, which was no big deal, but I threw out my lower back tearing some ligaments. Its got me mostly immobilized confined to laying on my back seeing a chiropractor twice a week. Aug 28 I have Solar Arc Uranus exact 45 Radical Mars which is the par-excellent aspect for any kind of serious injury both with the Uranian School and the Cosmobiologist (Ebertin) School. Mostly, the Uranian Schools use a 5 minute (1 month) approaching orb and a 5 minute separating orb for planet to planet Solar Ark hits, longer time orbs for the personal points. So, this Uranus Arc hit to my r Mars appears to be the timing symbolism for my injury.

It could be worse but I have yard work to do and now I have got to find someone to do this work. :x

You mean August 1 this year? (Not quite a week ago?) Sorry to hear that, Steve! I hope you heal well soon.

(My first impression was that you were saying August 1, 2019.)

Uranus to Mars is good symbolism for an accidental injury.

As you may have noticed, though, thee is a more immediate, symbolically exact indication in your Sidereal Lunar Return July 29, with natal Saturn and Pluto very closely setting:

26°14' Cancer - SLR Dsc
24°03' Cancer - r Saturn (0°40' below Dsc)
20°14' Cancer - r Pluto (2°15' above Dsc)

Since you "did it to yourself," it was skeletal, immobilized you, and probably arose while you looked every bit the classic Saturn figure standing swinging something resembling a scythe, it seems that natal Saturn less than a degree from the angle, Pluto also quite close, and your natal Saturn-Pluto conjunction tightened to 2°55' in mundo, it seems pretty descriptive.

It could only be better - in the astrological sense - if it involved a joint, to express your Saturn and Pluto placements in Cancer. I wonder, though, with your weed whacker... Garth Allen liked to talk about a famous Cancer golfer whose trademark hand-positions for his swing resembled the astrological glyph for Cancer pretty closely :)

Another detail of the SLR, less on target but fitting (and I almost missed it): SLR Moon is 6°20' before MC and SLR Neptune is 6°20' before Ascendant, so you have a 0°00' Moon-Neptune mundane square foreground in your SLR for your "oops" and for your convalescence.

Good Sidereal Astrology symbolism Jim for the SLR chart. By what my chiropractor is saying ---expect a 3-4 month recovery with rehab. :( So, a significant injury.

Oh Steve what a bummer. Feel good soon!!! I hope that you are supplementing your diet with extra vitimins and minerals and good proteins to help the healing!! Im glad your seeing a chiropractor and I hope that if your primary care thinks necessary you get some physical therapy excersizes to do.
I hope you find good help for your yard. Maybe a neighborhood teen? Best of luck!

Thanks Flo and Veronica. What bothers the most is my immobility, I think I will have enough mobility in a couple of weeks to start doing light specialized exercises which will put me back on the road of full recovery. :)

I'm sorry you got hurt. Us old people are not able to do what we used to, even though we feel the same as we used to. It's not nearly as bad as your injuries, but I fell while trying not to step on the cat and broke a toe this week. Are we having fun yet?

Trying to get back to regular activities too fast is counterproductive. Guess how I know. Take it slow and do what your physical therapist says even if it seems unhelpful. They really do know what to do.

Again, sucks to be old. Take any advantage you can. We earned those free coffees and old folk discounts.

Trump is experiencing a once in a lifetime hit of a Saturn-Neptune Solar Arc hit with arc Saturn partile conjunct his Natal Neptune, 0,41. It will be exact later in 2021. Donald Bradley who I consider one of the finest Sidereal Astrologers wrote this about Saturn-Neptune combos:
Saturn-Neptune: A real throne-toppler, this. Among its paramount keywords is “removal,” for Saturn-Neptune surely takes first prize for forcing resignations, abdications, exiles, deportations, and firings from jobs. Saturn-Neptune is a key-producer of neurotic symptoms.

Thanks, I'd stopped watching these for him (and it just came into orb abut the time of election). This adds to the picture of a truly terrible year he is going to have. I remembered Pluto-Asc for the election.

He has quite a few solar arcs within orb at the moment. It's worth listing them chronologically, remembering that these all move about 0°05'/month.

-0°31' d Neptune op. r Uranus
-0°43' d Uranus conj. r Asc
-0°40' d Saturn conj. r Neptune
-0°59' d Mercury sq. r Moon

The Neptune-Uranus is interesting because he's under the transit. In fact, Inauguration Day by transit there are four aspects within 0°00' orb that have been building and reach a true climax at all once:

t Pluto opposite r Saturn 0°00'
t Saturn-Neptune semi-square 0°00'
t Neptune square r Uranus 0°00'
t Saturn semi-square r Uranus 0°00'

For a year or so I've thought this would simply mark his removal from office. However, it's possible his Senate trial will start nearly the same day rather than be delayed. This is in no sense the worst part of the year for him - with transits peaking the first week of May and then the worst solar return I've ever seen him have mid-June.

Jim, are you saying an impeachment trial with conviction by the Senate can continue and culminate long after Inauguration Day 2021????

That's what he's saying. The Impeachment is the same as any indictment. The trial has to come after that. Mitch McConnell is blocking the trial till the 19th, when the only thing that could happen is the House sends the papers to the Senate. Next day is the inauguration, and the Senate is taken over by the Democrats. I don't know what the statue of limitations is, or if there even is one. But I'm sure that's not going to be a problem.

If the full senate is in attendence. It takes 60% of the Senators who are in attendance and are able to vote. So if there are a full 100 senators, it'll take 60 to convict, but if only 50 come to the party, 30 will have to vote to convict.

Yes. Nothing starts until Speaker Pelosi forwards the impeachment to the Senate and there is no limit on when she can do that.

I suppose there is a two-year limit because the current (117th) Congress expires January 3, 2023. But people are going to want this to happen while folks are still mad.

Small correction to what JSAD wrote, it takes two-thirds - essentially 67%. If All Senators are in attendance, and all 50 Democrats vote to convict, 17 Republicans will also have to vote to convict. But, as she said (to give a different example), if 25 Republicans don't attend then, of the 75 remaining, only 50 - the number of Democrats in the Senate - would be required.

Nothing different than if he isn't. For example, there will be civil violence and intensified hatred from people feeling shamed and diminished either way.

Jim, maybe she waits till after inauguration---then I see no reason she would not pass it on to the Senate now that the Dems have Senate Control to get it to trial in the Senate. Your thoughts on this matter?

The serious concern is that it will eat up the Senate's attention at a critical point in the launch of the Biden administration.

Biden wants to have his appointees confirmed ASAP to start getting every agency working on problems ASAP - this is entirely a Senate matter. He wants to get a relief bill out within a few days. He has other priorities resembling the way Roosevelt hit the ground running in the first 100 days of his first term.

The trial could take several weeks - three to six weeks at least, based on history - and could absorb the entire attention of the Senate. It is clear from the Senate rules that once the Senate begins sitting in hearing of the impeachment matter on any given day, it cannot act on any other matter on that day; and it's required to continue meeting six days each week (Sunday excluded).

Biden and McConnell are seeking a ruling by the Senate parliamentarian that the Senate is permitted to meet on other matters before noon each day, then convene at noon for the hearing. If this happens, they'll go on with the trial soon (after time to prepare the case the way they want etc.). Otherwise, they'll be hard pressed to do that - and may only convene the trial when other priority business is accomplished.

I'm betting they work out something with the parliamentarian.

PS - Trump doesn't have a terrible SLR or Demi for Washington until the slew of charts in April.

Unless it happens more or less right away, I think April is when it lands hard on him - peaking in the first week of May. Then, after his birthday, I think the criminal complaints start hitting. (Remember, the Senate isn't deciding any criminal matter.) This seems likely especially because the worst single spot for his SSR is NYC where the state and local law enforcement (as well as Federal prosecutors) are zeroing in on him personally and his business.

I am experiencing a once in lifetime angular Solar Arc hit of:
d. MC 19,36 Lib
r. Pl 20,13 Can
Fagan and many other astrologers classified major Pluto cycles as having to do with life crises. Here is what has and is happening to me with this once in a lifetime angular (90) Solar Arc Pluto hit. Late summer and early autumn 2020, I had two minor accidents working in the yard creating lower back problems. This minor accident happened when t Saturn and Pluto was partile 180 my n. Mars. My back problem has now turned chronic and I am nearing the end Physical Therapy with little results.
Details:
Diagnosis: Sacroiliac (SI) Joint Dysfunction (left side).
My normal everyday motion has become severely limited without experiencing sciatic pain. Sitting causes severe pain, can’t sit for longer distances than 10-20 miles in any car without experiencing severe pain. But, I can easily walk 3 miles without experiencing any pain so this “crises” could be much worse. At times, I experience pain sleeping rolling from side to side. The only way I can even begin to start my normal daily motions in the mornings after pulling myself out of bed is 30 minutes of stretching exercises. Now I clearly understand why cats stretch their legs and bodies after sleeping for long periods.

I am soon headed for an MRI in order to see if robotic surgery can correct. I have talked with my Librarian who had sciatic nerve problems with the exact same symptoms as mine and robotic surgery cured the pain problems. I refuse to take pain meds but fear if I will ever be able to drive my car again normally (love road trips), I will have to take pain meds. Don’t want to get strung out on pain meds.

Natal House Placements for this angular Solar Arc hit: Pluto 9th House, Directed MC 12th House. Definitely experiencing all kinds of “confinement” symbolism of 12th House.

I'm so sorry to hear this Steve but I'm glad you can walk and stretch. My ex husband had a similar issue and surgery helped for the short term but his long term bad habits caused other inflammatory issues. My father as well has crippling back pain and finds relief from steroid injections. I hope that you find relief soon.

MRI has been delayed until Mar 3rd which will determine if I remain a cripple for the rest of my time. After Neurologist reviews MRI he will make an app with me to discuss the MRI. Facebook helped me find other seniors who had the same symptoms as me which only robotic surgery cured. New Technology is fascinating!

I hope this goes really well for you. (Obviously!)

Will you know the outcome right on the spot, or need to wait a couple of days for a radiologist to look at things? On 3/3 your SNQ has transiting Saturn on Dsc and a progressed Moon-Pluto conjunction. -- If things wait a few days, your 3/5 SLR has a Mercury-Jupiter conjunction on MC and your Moon setting square Venus exactly.

8-), thanks a-lot for pointing this out to me, gets my hopes sky high after enduring all of this for months. All I know is what the Neurologist office told me. The process is I first get a MRI and give the MRI people the Neurologist Fax #. Then I will be contacted by Neurologist office for an appointment with the Robotic Doc, regardless of what MRI shows. I have been told my another senior that Robotic surgery on lower spine problems is doing wonders for seniors with lower back issues. If I am not a candidate for robotic surgery, I can at least take long lasting pain shots (3 months).

No, they'd been going on for longer than that and none of the exact passes or angularities matched any key dates. (Aside from which there is no particular symbolic match for them.)

In fact, I really don't know what Pluto to my Mars has done. It has seemed absolutely inconsequential. I haven't written about that because I don't want to invite it to revisit. Health problems in general (and especially anything that could be related to Pluto to Mars in Sagittarius) have reduced.

I understand Jim. It was really weird how t. Pluto to my Mars got to me physically. I injured my lower back but 3 chiropractor visits corrected my problem. Then I injured another part of my lower back which seemed like no big deal at the time of injury. Then slowly my lower back problem became chronic as a major life development which virtually put me in a serious state of confinement. I am hoping the new technology of robotic surgery will get me back to normal, if not, I am going to have to make some serious life adjustments which I know you understand with what you have gone through with your eye problems.

My usual formula for Mars-Pluto health considerations are: Cell inflammation. Catabolic processes. Accelerated energy generation. Stress or strain injuries (hypertension?). – Radical healing approaches (cell regeneration or cell damage). – May be a key to some forms of cancer. (Tropical astrologers would be fast to add proctological issues, so let's put that on the list as well.)

During this time, my blood pressure has come under control and remain stable within excellent range, my reduced heart output has returned to normal and stayed there, my colonoscopy was fine, my urologist is happy, my cardiologist is happy. And if we add Sagittarius bronchial stuff, my inflammation-fed bronchial issues are much better contained. So... not much, eh?

I'm sure my ketogenic diet during this whole time has helped most of these because it has kept inflammation very low.

Indeed, diet is very important. Also, as Noel wrote:
...above all, there will almost invariably be a major transit to trigger the suggestion of the Solar Arc
.
IMO, SSR's should also be included for possible "suggestions" of an angular Solar Arc hit. For my back injury it was the transits of Saturn & Pluto 180 my r Mars which triggered off my d MC 90 r Pluto.

Just notice for Freya and her most desired llife- developmentt of becoming pregnant: d Natal Asc partile 90 her r Jupiter--also will be in place for the birth of her child. :) A once in lifetime angular Solar Arc hit to her r Jupiter.

This past Monday, I received critical information from the neurosurgeon about by back injury which has allowed me to make important decisions, and has allowed me to see/understand more how I must adapt to a major once in a life time Solar Arc “life development” involving my d MC 90 r Pluto. At my age (74), and the geometry of my Natal Chart, d MC is in my 12 House 90 r Pluto in my 9th House.

Here is what’s happening relative to my back injury: It is confining (12th House symbolism) me in my home (a true sanctuary) due to my back injury. I can’t drive my car long distances nor engage in my regular seasonal outdoor activities, major bummer! So, since this is what the Universe has served-up and I have no choice but to adapt, I have made a final decision to take-up a new indoor hobby, and growing indoors what I consider a true medicine. Since my r Pluto is in my 9th House, I want to mediate on 9th House symbolism mainly pertaining to “higher knowledges” (9th House) for potentially allowing this medicine to help elevate benefic moods and possibly reduce the pain levels I am experiencing with my confining back injury. It’s good to have a plan after a major bummer life cycle manifests in your life. :)

Oh Steve I am just so excited for you to take up gardening/growing/cultivating! It is the most rewarding, and challenging and nurturing and disappointing and exciting endeavor, it has everything under the sun!!

If I may though, I'd like to present the idea that what you are calling 9th house "higher knowledge " is possibly a misnomer, as you will find out attempting to grow indoors in a controlled environment that which arose from the combination of forces in its " chaotic and wild" environment. The itty bitty little things make the difference.

I found the saddest dying african violet at a hardware store and I couldn't let it die. This was years ago when I separated from Eric. Today it is the most beautiful, huge, thriving, vibrant plant...at least a foot across, fed love water sunshine and hope. I have gotten so much joy and fulfillment tending and propagating and sharing them, I have 7 different types now!! I scored a blue one last week, they just come my way these sad little neglected lifeforms, so I just love em as best I know.

But, my plants are not true african violets,
wild african violets have a struggle that mine dont, and an interrelationship with Africa/environment.
My plants are sensitive and vulnerable to things because they are specimens. Isolated.
In growing things it is vital to understand the lower knowledge of composting and balancing.
Have fun with it, it sounds wonderful!

I understand V. I have grown outdoor gardens in the past and it will be a challenge for me to grow indoors. I am very interested in the possible “higher knowledges/learnings” for growing indoors a possible medicine pertaining to help me alleviate certain conditions with my back injury, particularly in regards to pain issues. I have done immense research with this possible medicine and am very interested in it for possible “higher knowledges/learning” from a shamanistic standpoint with certain cultures past & present. Since I am under a major “life development” with Solar Arc MC 90 my natal Pluto in the 9th House, I am most interested in experimenting with this possible medicine pertaining to 9th House symbolism as it applies relative to my life now. There is not much academic “science” with this medicine, only worldwide usage from a “citizen science” (word of mouth) standpoint. I am most interested in the art symbols left by ancient cultures pertaining to this possible medicine. I have PM you a link pertaining to this.
The itty bitty little things make the difference.
Yes, indeed!

Phil Mickelson, a professional golfer did something “stunning/remarkable” (Pluto) yesterday by winning the PGA Major Golf championship at the age of 50, becoming the oldest golfer in the history of golf and “first” (Pluto) player in his 50’s to win a Major. He was under a once in a lifetime Solar Arc of:
Solar Arc MC 00,46 Virgo partile conjunct Natal Pluto 00,23 Virgo
Ebertin from COSI says about this combo:
Desire to become important, the power to attain success in life, ability to maintain one’s position in life. Fame. People excelling in their particular profession or occupation. Attainment of recognition and power. Inclination to look upon one’s vocation or calling as a mission.

A few keywords for 9th House Symbolism:
…higher knowledge or education.
My Solar Arc MC is nearing exact 90 to my Natal Pluto in my 9th House, a once in a lifetime major Pluto Solar Arc Direction. In the past several weeks I have come into contact with Terence McKenna’s work, allowing me “higher” understandings “knowledge/education” to implement a profound healing alternative into my life. Once in lifetime 0, 90,180 Solar Arcs involving our Natal angles and Sidereal Solar Returns are the two most important astrological systems I have encountered in my 40 years of studying astrology.

Interesting :)

Well, I see that d. Pluto has just hit the 2° orb opposite n. Moon. Since my Pluto is always closely tied with my Ven-Jup I suppose this may have to do with deep love connection. D. Sun is about to hit the 2°orb conj. n. Pluto.

T. Pluto is partile conj. my Nnode, so I guess I will have to expect some kind of turbulence or disruption with that going on - or perhaps someone close to me will die. I don't know.

There are so many connections happening in my solar arcs right now - interesting times. :)

D. Jup will hit the 2° orb opposite n. Mer in January and then it will square n. Moon next May so I'm hoping that will show up as a lot more success in selling my artwork. In the meanwhile d. Nep is still in orb with n. MC (not for relocation though) and d. Sun is partile sq n. Venus while d. Uranus is partile n. Nep so it keeps my creative juices flowing in boundless and effortless motion. Discovering and growing my creative spirit is just soooo much fun. :D

:) Indeed, I noted that to myself several months ago when I looked at your Solar Arc hits. You will look back on your life years from now and realize even more how important this time frame was for your life. Enjoy as much as you can about all aspects of life.

A short video of Monica Abbott:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_grkUCUEOzs

Monica was born with a partile 90 of Mars-Pluto. Noel Tyl (RIP) taught us when our Natal Planets Solar Arc to Natal Angles partile or Solar Arc Angles to Natal Planets partile, major life developments are timed. It just so happens Monica's Natal partile 90 of Mars-Pluto is Solar Arc partile conjunct her Natal ASC & Natal Nadir, and she just so happens to be in the Olympics striving for a Gold Metal :) . I am so pulling for this power-packed 6-3 woman to win the gold medal for her team as a starting pitcher in a possible gold medal game. She has a fast ball of 77 mile per hour, the fastest fast ball known for a woman softball pitcher, equated to a man's fastball in the major leagues it would be over 100 miles per hour! She is a Super Woman! Can you only imagine the physical effort it takes for her to rise to the top of her sport by possibly winning a gold medal for her team as a starting pitcher? Lets go to Ebertin's great book "Combination of Stellar Influences and read what he has to say about positive Mars-Pluto Combos:
Principle: Superhuman power.
Psychological Correspondence: The ability to demonstrate extraordinary force and vigor, great self-confidence, obsessive about work, great ambition.
Sociological Correspondence: ...great people in the sphere of sport.
Probable Manifestation: Attainment of success through excessive effort.
*Footnoted: In prominent charts this combination can mean exceptional ability.
It gives me goosebumps just thinking about the possibilities of a gold medal for her and the profound language of astrology at display here with her Natal Chart and this important Solar Arc of Mars-Pluto firing off in her life on her Natal ASC. "Timing is Everything"
*Monica's Natal info in the the Sports Astrology thread posted today.

It's very strange. Solar Arcs have never been that strong in important life events for me.

Yes, very strange. May be an indication your birthtime was recorded wrong. A four minute error in birthtime throws Solar Arc angles and Natal angles off by 1 year in time. What is your source for your birth time?

Steve, here are a few:

d Asc = r Jupiter (9/2017) and Venus (5/2019)
This was potentially an interesting patch because her Venus-Jupiter square is 1°42' wide, meaning d Asc never left a 1° orb of one or the other benefics from [estimated] 9/2016 to 6/2020.

d Pluto = r Asc (1/2016)

d Asc = r Neptune (1/2013)
