Pluto Return for the U.S.?

Post by Lance »

I've heard some online buzz about a Pluto return for the U.S. I'm not even sure what date and time I would use for the U.S. "natal chart," but I'm interested in what people think.

Thoughts?

Ken Bowser and I have been in a lot of those conversations with Tropicalists who think we're right on top of it. Due to precession, the Sidereal Pluto return is a couple of years later than the tropical: Pluto will be first within 1° of its natal place March 23, 2023 and will last leave partile orb December 6, 2025, making three exact conjunctions in that time.

One thing I pointed out online - for those who think this marks the fall of the United States - is that England has been through three rounds of this since 1066 and it's still going strong.

The transit surely means a decision point where serious questions will have to be answered and fundamental changes enacted - a time to (in some fashion) restructure and reconceive. What the nation is willing to do in this regard will surely determine the outcome of the 2024 election.

I think the most important effects will be those that are natural to Pluto in Capricorn. Here is my full analysis of that passage: https://solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=2475#p33904

By what I have learned from Donald Bradley about Pluto, I think Bradley (RIP) may have thought the Country is at a major "turning point."

That is certainly easy to see by reading the headlines every day for the last five years (and essentially what I meant by some of my remarks above).
