Permanently barring Robin van Dien aka JeffKilos

I want to post here what I'm doing so everyone understood.

A "new" forum participant a week ago named Robin van Dien. JSAD and I discussed almost at once that he was former JeffKilos who had been thrown off the board and permanently barred. He came back under another name, begged forgiveness, and asked that we also unblock his home IP address. (It took my performing surgery on the data base to do this.)

"Robin," born April 29, 2000, at 2:27 AM PDT, Santa Clara, CA and living in recent years in Cory, NC (as he posted the data openly on the site) has demanded an enormous amount of attention in the last week. I've put close to two workdays of time into answering his sometimes nagging questions, and for one main reason: Every question answered on this site is available for other people (often many hundreds of people) to read and learn from. I don't do this to provide free astrology services - I do this to create a live teaching environment wherein every minute I spend responding is potentially in the service of many hundreds of people and of Sidereal astrology in general that we never know but who come by to read.

"Robin" posted earlier that he was posting his last question - one about his brother's health. I didn't have time to answer this before leaving work, but made a mental note to look at it when I got home. I now see that in the last hour "Robin" has deleted the content of all of his posts (but not the posts themselves which exist as 82 empty husks interwoven with probably a dozen hours of answers).

In doing this, I consider he stole from all of you. He stole from me AND you because I could have spent that time analyzing behavior patterns in the last few angular planets or Moon signs I have to finalize and write about before I can move into the larger project of my large, final book on Sidereal astrology. He stole from you because the record of him and his chart - freely offered and posted by him here - is gone, rather than serving as permanent astrological instruction.

I will now delete his account, delete all of his posts that I can, and then go back and spend more time surgically cleaning up the site which he has left in a mess. It's heartbreaking and angering. I am blocking all of his ways into the site that I can find and, if he appears again and I learn it is he, I will remove him again and give him no more chances.

I will, however, keep his birth data and city where he lives posted above since he posted them freely and openly on this site. At least these may serve as astrological instruction to those who take time to examine the data.

I'm tempted to say no more Aries Suns are allowed on this site - so many of them have brought such conflict and destruction. Besides Robin van Dien / JeffKilos, we've had to deal with the destructive rage, arguments, and general trouble of Contrarian, coolcoolwcr, Uncle Aries, and more. I won't do this, of course, because there has been the occasional exception - but perhaps you will see why I would even consider it.

OK, enough explain. I'm off to clean up the mess.

I changed my mind on one thing: I won't delete the responses, which might be of use to others. I've found I can backdoor into his gutted threads and just remove his husks (emptied posts) and keep the rest intact. Still a lot of work, but this way he will at least serve the cause of Sidereal astrology somewhat.

All right, I will come clean. Before you gasp, please read the whole thing.

Yes it is me, Robin van Dien aka Jeff Kilos aka James Charles. Now why I am I rejoining? Well, for starters I must explain myself. The first time you banned me, I had no remorse because I was not that serious about it. Second time, I am coming back to explain what really happened. I never intended on running away with all the information you provided me. Why delete? I got into a ugly fight with someone who I really respect, sometime around this afternoon. And then I went on a fit of rage, deleting everything under me. This probably started around the evening or so. For the longest time, even as late as 9 pm, I still kept my birth data in the profile page, but when I saw you deleting all my blank posts, I felt it was better to delete my birth data. To be honest, I did not ever plan this, it was purely an emotional, impulsive decision. And I did not intend that my brother's post will be the last one, but was to be the last one for a while. Since I actually feel remorse, I will come clean.

I never intended to harass anyone, neither did I intend to steal or anything. There were so many perplexing questions in my mind regarding me that I was unable to understand. I may have come across as super annoying, nagging, but I am a passionate man.

In fact, I had not realized what a gross injustice I had actually committed until you posted this discussion.

However, I will stand by one thing. I do not regret removing my brother's birth data, because he is my brother, and his privacy is important to me. I do not even care if you guys post all my data online via Twitter or social media, because it is yours officially now. But, not my brother's. However, if you object to it, then I apologize.

As a punishment, rather than banning me, I will retype all my complete data again in regards to whatever you have answered, and after doing so, I will abstain for six months or even longer depending on how much you want it to be, from posting or asking any sort of question no matter how tempted I feel. I understand that I wasted so many people's time, and I am ready to compensate for this.

So he came back again... I left the above post to give him his say and now, as I promised, I will remove his account. He is permanently, unconditionally banned.

I'm all for second chances. "Second" has come and gone. I "pulled rank" among site administrators to let him back in the second time. Enough is enough.

Now everyone can draw their own conclusion on the subtleties of how his Sun opposite my Saturn 0°20' turned out. (It does seem that the final result is Saturn unconditionally restricting Sun.)

PS - No problem about deleting the brother's data.

I think this was the fourth time. He was banned under JeffKilos and at least one other name. If he manages to come back (I'm sure it's a challenge now and he won't be able to let it go.) don't worry about it. Let one of us (Jim, Dani or me) know as soon as you think it's him and we'll deal with it.
