LeiLei, I am very curious in investigating the angular partile Mercury 180 Uranus with your Natal Uranus tightly conjunct your 2020 SSR Ascendant. By Jim's guidelines in his book "Interpreting Solar Returns" your 2020 SSR classifies as an "outstanding incident" SSR. Do you think you discovering Jim's solunars forum, so far into your 2020 solar year may be or become the "outstanding incident?" Or, so far into your 2020 solar year: Has there been any other "outstanding incidents" manifest in your life, relative to everyday normal living? Thanks

Re: LeiLei 2020 Sidereal Solar Return (SSR)
Absolutely! I've looked over my current SSR a little while back (as much as I'm able to see at least) and when I looked at Jim's description of Mercury/Uranus "One's first introduction to astrology often coincides with this." I was floored! Another "outstanding incident" this year was the break-up of my son & his gf's 8 year relationship. I think I had my head in the clouds believing they would always be together & when my son told me they weren't going to make it, it was definitely a shock.

It's certainly in the plan, it just might be another month or two. I'm very excited to look deeper into all of this. Okay great I look forward to it! If you want to really look into the future, take a look at my 2022 SSR. I wish I hadn't!

Re: LeiLei 2020 Sidereal Solar Return (SSR)
What do you see in your 2022 SSR that looks so bad?
Re: LeiLei 2020 Sidereal Solar Return (SSR)
My info could be incorrect or at least isn't entirely accurate. *I cannot figure out how to make the degree symbol appear on my laptop. Everything I've tried doesn't work.
2022 SSR
T. Ma on ASC 1*35'
T. Mo Sq ASC 1*45'
T. Ne Sq ASC 0*25'
R. Mo on DSC 0*04'
R. Ne on DSC 7*20'
R. Sa on IC 9*10
The main thing that struck me was transiting Mars and my Moon reacting to it. Probably not wise looking so far ahead, especially when I can't see everything without Solar Fire. My life has been really stagnant lately & I was looking for upcoming change.

Re: LeiLei 2020 Sidereal Solar Return (SSR)
I think I should rephrase "my life has been stagnant lately" to "I've been stagnant lately". Because it isn't life that's doing this to me, it's me. So what I'm really looking for is me getting frustrated enough with me & my circumstances that I finally do something about it.

What kind of computer are you using, and what browser?
Saturn is too far away from the angle to bother with.
I see your concern with Mars. Have you thought about traveling over your birthday?

Them method I use requires the separate numeric keypad (which I have on my laptop, but not all laptops do; and you can do this from an external keypad).LeiLei wrote: Mon Jun 28, 2021 10:26 am I cannot figure out how to make the degree symbol appear on my laptop. Everything I've tried doesn't work.
Turn on NumLock, hold down the Alt key, and press 248 (Alt+248).
Another way (but more awkward) is to launch Windows' Character Map. On many fonts (e.g. Arial) is a degree symbol that you can copy to your clipboard and then repeatedly paste.

Re: LeiLei 2020 Sidereal Solar Return (SSR)
Thank you both. I have an Asus Windows 10 & I use Chrome. Holding down ALT 0176 produces the degree symbol but it also redirects to Google's home page where it reveals the symbol. Lol so that's not useful. ALT 248 gives me a different symbol while also redirecting me to Google's home page. It's okay, the asterisk symbol works well enough.
As far as traveling on my birthday goes, at first I would have said no. I'm a little intrigued & I don't want to miss out on something potentially exciting. Plus right now I'm feeling discouraged because I had planned to move but it didn't work out so I'm irrationally thinking I'm never going to be able to. So I just need to relax because it's very likely I won't even be living at this location in 15 months.

That's not standard behavior on Win 10 and it's not usually modified by browser (though, btw, Edge is now the same basic engine as Chrome).LeiLei wrote: Mon Jun 28, 2021 2:22 pm Thank you both. Is that Alt+248 with NumLock on or without it? On some computers it makes no difference; on some it does.

Saturn has been crisscrossing your Eastpoint, so short-term blocks and resistances shouldn't be a surprise. Uranus is soon to oppose your Uranus, though (July '21 to March '23), and then - between June 2022 and March 2024 - to cross your IC, which could mark a very significant departure from the place or nature of your current life.

It was with the number lock on, trying it off & voila! °°° Very cool! Thank you!
I'm interested in eastern Tennessee (closer to my Venus line) but I am open to possibilities so long as it involves being more immersed in nature. And a bit warmer would be nice, after 5 years I still haven't acclimated to the winters here.
Yep and Pluto will be crossing my ASC around that time too, a total of 5 times I think, starting early 2023 if I'm remembering correctly. So potentially some dramatic changes! I'm very curious wondering just what I will do. At the same time the phrase "be careful what you wish for" keeps popping up in the back of my head. But geez I'm bored!

Yes, your Venus-MC line runs Ohio to Florida, due north-south, on a line west of the longitude of Columbus, OH and east of the longitude of Macon, GA. In TN, it's almost exactly Morristown.LeiLei wrote: Mon Jun 28, 2021 2:52 pm I'm interested in eastern Tennessee (closer to my Venus line) but I am open to possibilities so long as it involves being more immersed in nature. Your Jupiter line is the longitude of Fargo, ND and Sioux Falls, SD (running all the way down to Texas), but that's not overall as pretty as area you named.
Yes, five exact crossings. Pluto first enters partile orb January 2023 and last leaves if December 2024. It should be awesome! By overlap, Jan 2023 to Mar 2024 is the stage of your life when you have both Pluto crossing your Asc and Uranus crossing your IC. Another “outstanding incident” SSR. Maybe coming into contact with Jim’s Solar Return teachings was meant to forewarn you about your 2022 SSR, “forewarned is forearmed.” Both your SSR Moon and Natal Moon combined with important angular aspects to SSR Mars & Neptune. Try to be as cautious as you can with infections of all kinds. I had an “outstanding incident’ Lunar Return once involving Moon-Mars-Neptune and contacted a severe case of the flu that laid me out for 3 wks. When both our SSR Moon and Natal Moon are involved malefically—red flags for possible troubled health situations. But at least the malefic Saturn is not involved with your 2022 SSR, it could be worse. Just prepare as best as you can and be very conscious of whats going on in your immediate environment. Check with Jim about, if possible, relocating your location on your 2022 Birthday, at least moving SSR Mars & Neptune of the SSR angles.

Re: LeiLei 2020 Sidereal Solar Return (SSR)
I was feeling optimistic up until near the end of December but there's been so many impediments in my life & witnessed in the lives of those around me these last few months. Along with some painful separations, I've started to think the worst is coming. But when characters leave the stage, new ones enter. The show must go on after all. And upon realizing that my apprehension went the other way, no longer focused on who else might be departing from my life but who might enter it. Relationships (of all types) have been a central topic in my mind of late. And I could be totally off base but I wonder if what's coming "a significant departure from the nature of my current life" could possibly pertain to relationships, potentially of the romantic variety. Something I've debated sharing on this forum that is quite personal but that might be useful to your research is that I have been celibate for just over 10 years. I've never had a solid romantic partnership and after my second disaster of a marriage, I didn't just take myself off the market, I doused it with gasoline & set it on fire. But I'm beginning to wonder if there's a phoenix somewhere buried in the ashes. Not sure how I feel about that, I guess only time will tell.Jim Eshelman wrote: Mon Jun 28, 2021 2:30 pm

Or it could have something to do with my art which would be awesome & if so, I certainly hope to do something spectacular with the opportunity that is worthy of your envy.

Will do, Steve, and thank you. I thought it might be a red flag for an injury of some sort or that I might do something to incite another's rage. I'd prefer the former but I'd really rather avoid both!SteveS wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 6:00 am LeiLei wrote:2022 SSR:If you want to really look into the future, take a look at my 2022 SSR. We have a lot of resources here to help you interpret your charts.
I think this one ( Foreground Planets in Solunars (Natal vs. Transiting)) would be of interest. But there are others as well. Look around that section of this site ( Solar & Lunar Returns - Interpretations )

I clearly understand, obviously is seen in your Natal with the volatile foreground midpoint structures involving Venus-Mars-Uranus-MC, particularly with the direct midpoint of Mars/MC = Uranus (0,21) and Venus being your closest angular Planet to MC 1,49 conjunct MC mundanely. Angular Venus, Mars, Uranus in Libra a strong sign for all kinds of relationships. Your direct midpoint of Sun/Moon = MC (0,46) a very important & potent midpoint structure, the only Natal I have seen with this type of direct midpoint structure. Thanks for this feedback LeiLei.I've never had a solid romantic partnership and after my second disaster of a marriage, I didn't just take myself off the market, I doused it with gasoline & set it on fire.

Thank you for sharing this. I suppose it comes under the category of Virgo Suns (which are normally quite sexual) being able to "do without" as needed, and especially to redirect libido into creative outlets. It's not the most common expression, but it's one of the distinct Virgo variants. Plus, Sun-Pluto can pull itself "out of circulation" naturally.LeiLei wrote: Tue Jun 29, 2021 9:48 am Relationships (of all types) have been a central topic in my mind of late. But, my lord, what volatile, explosive language - entirely fitting your close Mars-Uranus conjunction at Midheaven! (Sun-Pluto and Scorpio Moon help.) This is probably your strongest, most important aspect, and it explodes with break-out originality and the need for freedom. Any partnering has to take that very much into consideration.
And, for the long run, a celibate life isn't healthy (I mean physically healthy) for Scorpio Moons. The tough, strong, independent Scorpio Moon has strong physical drives (for all sorts of things - sex just being one - but also for business or a personal mission). "Volcanic" is not too strong a term for Scorpio Moon sexuality (or temper, for that matter). Pressure builds deep down, almost gestationally, then bursts out with almost frightening ferocity (whatever the particular Mars expression of the moment might be). If you haven't reviewed the full (rewritten within the last year) Moon in Scorpio interpretation, here it is: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=34#p149
With Venus in her own constellation, Libra, less than 2° from Midheaven and well-supported by a mundane square from Jupiter, Venus matters are of enormous importance to you. I hear that your art has been a primary expression of this - a most worthy one - and that Sun conjunct Pluto finds it easier (sometimes even mandatory!) to pull back from other people.
I think the most important detail is that, in any future partnership, you need a real partnership - and somebody who "gets" the whole scope of your brilliant, creative, explosive, volatile nature.
I've been reassessing how fixed stars work and considering that, as some very bright and able astrologers have suggested, they operate only through parans to angles and planets. I note that you are born with Alphard (the brightest star in Hydra) setting and Menkar (the brightest star in Cetus) on the IC. Both of these are symbolically consistent with the idea of great aquatic beast-forces surging upward from the depths - though I'm not sure how I'd distinguish this from what your Scorpio Moon already brings. Your Moon has the same RA as (i.e., crosses MC with) Rasalhague, the brightest star in Ophiuchus, the great figure who always wrestles with (and ultimately tames) serpent forces. If there is anything to this way of looking at fixed stars, your chart is saturated with this type of symbolism.
