Foreground Moon & populist uprisings

Post by Jim Eshelman »

Jul 01, 2013

I've recently learned (from examining a large volume of ingress charts) that a foreground Moon in a Sidereal ingress is the mark of populist uprisings. I've particularly seen this in Turkey recently.

This is consistent with symbolism in many ways, and quite easy to understand now that I see it - but it's a surprise in other senses, because it makes a foreground Moon seem more volatile and disturbing than one normally would expect.

This morning we have a new indication of this: Populist uprisings have been surging in Egypt for days, and this morning the Egyptian army told Pres. Morsi that he has 48 hours to respond. Otherwise, presumably, the army will assume power.

The current Caplunar for Cairo has the Moon at the Midheaven and Saturn exactly setting (the two being in exact mundane square). Then, this morning a new Arilunar which upped the ante with an exactly rising Saturn.
