Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom

Post by Jupiter Sets at Dawn »

Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor
21 April 1926 at 02:40 AM
Mayfair (London), England, 51n30, 0w09
GDT h1e (is daylight saving time)

Queen Elizabeth, at age 95, is going downhill. She spent the night in the hospital October 20 - 21 2021 for the first time since 2013. She was told to rest, and cancelled her opening speech at the UN Climate Conference in Glasglow on October 31st, although enviromental issues are a personal commitment.

She was told today to rest and not take official visits for the next two weeks.

She's due to celebrate her platinum jubilee, 70 years as queen, next year.

I saw that - it caught my attention.

I previously forecasted that her April 2023 SSR would be her last, even though her husband's death and recent health concerns made me expect something sooner.

I'll leave the money on the table and see where thus goes.

:(

I cried when I read Jim's thoughts on her next SSR.
I was grateful he shared it because I would have been caught off guard. I even thought about temporarily moving to my cousin flat in London to be able to be closer to her. I just love her.....to think of waking up one day and she wont be here....

I wanted to write her a letter and thank her for being a strong role model for me, and to try to explain that the reason my grandma left and came to America had nothing to do with her, that she was protecting my mother.....
and when I was done writing my letter in my head, pouring out my heart to her and sharing my love and admiration, I felt my grandmother and mother and Karen presences and felt their Joy that Lizbet would be joining them, and how she isnt leaving, just changing....and gramma laughed and said that a lot of ghosts are shaking in thier sheets afraid of the day when the Queen crosses through the veil.

I will say prayers and light a candle in Hope's that she isnt suffering and in pain.

I looked at the composite of her chart and the current planetary transit chart, very interesting conjunctions and aspects going on with the inner planets recently under a outer planet base line that to me is very telling of her steps with time.
I think also that the constellations that the aspects are in, are a strong voice for the truth and reality of the Sidereal Zodiac, and an even stronger voice against Tropical.

Liz has been queen as long as I've been alive and then some. The world will just not feel the same when Charles ascends the throne. Her reign is already six years longer than Victoria's, and she's nearly fourteen years older that Victoria was at death. Quite an a achievement for woman who never really wanted to be queen, the daughter of a man who never wanted to be king. Imagine how different the world would be if Edward VIII had not chosen to abdicate!

Considering his fondness for Hitler, whom he saw as a pretty reasonable fellow, it likely would have started with England allying with Germany and Italy as part of the Axis Powers, entirely altering the setup for, and likely outcome of, World War II.

I think what's going to happen is Charles will bury his mother, ascend the throne, and then let William finish up whatever he's got going (and wait till the children are a little older.) At some point fairly soon, William will say OK Pops and Charles will retire (he's already 72) and William will be crowned. Charles will retire to his farms.

I also think William will retire at a reasonable age and let his daughter become queen. Perhaps at usual retirement age. Charles life has really been circumscribed and stunted as heir to the throne. If he realizes that he won't let it happen to his son.

I think that scenario is very likely, and may establish a precedent for a reasonable retirement age for British monarchs, as Benedict XVI did for the papacy. Perhaps Charles will be titled King Emeritus when he abdicates in William's favor.

It's been announced now. She died this afternoon.

She was the longest reigning monarch in the history of the UK.

One highly precise mathematical pattern activated at her death has gone unremarked (unless I've missed it somewhere). For final timing in her secondary progressions:

25°42' Lib - p Saturn
26°22' Cap - p Moon
27°10' Cap - r Mars

Her two most important progressions of the year were progressed Moon square progressed Saturn (here 0°40' separating) and progressed Moon conjunct natal Mars (here 0°42' applying). The midpoint Mo = Ma/Sa is 0°01'! (Transiting Moon set this off, and also exactly conjoined transiting Saturn, at the time of her death.)

Had she lived longer, she'd have also had progressed Moon conjoin natal Jupiter, oppose natal Neptune, and square natal Saturn this year. Since progressed Neptune squares natal Saturn 0°45', her next most dangerous spot would have been when progressed Moon opposed Neptune and squared Saturn from 0°22' Aquarius December 23.

I've mostly stopped ever looking at tertiary progressions - they're usually so disappointing - except they do have a knack, on really big events, of having exact contacts to angles often within a very few minutes. Queen Elizabeth's final tertiary Ascendant (birthplace) was 15°04' Leo with transiting Mars at 15°26' Taurus. (The terts also had a partile Moon-Venus conjunction square natal Pluto. This is flitting - marking a day at most. There are several indications in her chart of love [her husband's recent death?] being a psychological factor in the timing of her death, but progressed Moon square natal Pluto is accurate by itself. Usually one can ignore this as just a one-day flit-through, but it's worth mentioning as long as I'm mentioning the terts at all.

Even her quaternary progressions (what Church of Light called minor progressions) had a 0°10' Moon-Mars square for her death - again, a less-than-a-day flitting contact.

But, besides the secondary progressions, her solar arc directions were the most telling, and timed the broader period quite well (which is what solar arcs do best):

0°44' Sco - r Saturn
0°48' Sco - d Neptune
1°17' Tau - d Jupiter
1°50' Sco - r MC

One might have expected the worse effect on health a few months later as Neptune entered partile orb of her Midheaven, but the general period is marked well enough, and the Neptune-Saturn is quite precise. (Not everyone gets to experience a 92°29' solar arc!)

For James and Steve, I should mention that Age Harmonic MC 19°02' Sag was 0°02' from opposite natal Pluto (moving at the rate of 211°50' per year).

Her Solar Return probably set up in London (I think she didn't travel north for the summer as early as April). Its MC was 10°49' Gemini, Asc 9°28' Virgo for Buckingham Palace (51N30'03", 0W08'31"). At the time of her death, transiting Jupiter was 10°59' Pisces, one of those damnable accurate transits that shows the complexities of look at death charts for figures of high public eminence.

I spoke of her secondary progressed Moon aspects above. Additionally, the SNQ for Balmoral had natal Pluto 0°31' from MC. But I saw this on the way to seeing how the Solar Return unfolded up to the time of her death besides its exactly Jupiter crossing. The SQ MC is appropriately mixed for frailty and dignity:

28°20' Can - r Neptune
28°41' Cap - s Saturn
28°48' Cap - r Jupiter
28°53' Lib - SQ MC

Just moved into orb, not sure whether to count SQ, but the PSSR hit:
18°00' Sag - SQ Moon
19°00' Gem - r Pluto
19°23' Sag - PSSR Moon

In a likely coincidence of no actual astrological value, her natal angles relocated to Balmoral were exactly those of her SQ for her final moment: local MC 28°51' Libra, SQ MC 28°53' Libra.

Her PSSR angles (using the estimation method, accurate to within about 1°) is all benefic driven: PSSR Asc was the degree of solar Venus, PSSR MC square solar Jupiter.

So, the SSR (and its normal unfolding) told the story accurately - has exacting marks matching her death - but with these we also have to accept the marks of dignity and public elevation.

Her SLR primarily shows the elements of dignity: Natal Sun is within 3° of IC. Transiting Pluto is more widely foreground. Though there are no foreground aspects, in the category of "other partile aspects" (which our standard method accepts as valid, and perhaps more so when there are no foreground aspects at all) we find both luminaries closely afflicted by malefics. Luminary aspects (not foreground) include:

t Sun-Mars sq 0°38'
t Moon-Saturn op 0°55' M
------------------------------
t Moon op r Mars 0°25'
t Moon op r Jupiter 0°35'
t Moon co r Neptune 1°00' M
(Saturn joins Moon in the last three aspects, all 100% strength)

So, looking at this chart could we have anticipated her death? Probably not. In hindsight it describes the event pretty well. First, it's not a "stand-out" chart of undeniable importance. Second, we might have thought natal Sun would have carried some extra vitality. Nonetheless, it does show a significant assault on her well-being.

Her Demi-SLR (12 hours before her death) primarily show the public honoring. (We don't know her state of mind during the "under medical monitoring" period of her last couple of days.) With transiting Moon strongest, 0°23' from Dsc, the main foreground aspects are transiting Mercury-Jupiter conjunct opposite her natal Mercury (Jupiter to Mercury being 0°03' M). There are partile non-foreground aspects that tell the story a little better, but, to be clear, the main story of the chart should be told by Mercury-Jupiter opposite her Mercury about 5° off the angles, plus a highlighted Moon.

She was born so close to (before) progressed Moon conjoined natal Moon - and it was so much a part of the transit picture, plus part of important progressions marking her death clearly - that the Kinetic Lunars deserve a look. Though she was likely starting to feel the incoming KLR.

The chart is simple: She was within an hour of a new Kinetic Lunar Return with transiting Pluto 0°13' from Eastpoint (at least, as best as Solar Fire can calculate it) in a strenuous, health-challenging transit:

1°16' Cap - t Pluto
1°19' Lib - KLR MC
2°55' Ari - p Mars

I'm not usually impressed with the Kinetic Solar Return (I've seen few good examples). This one (which occurred July 26) is less disappointing: KSR Moon was 0°01' from conjunct natal Pluto. Progressed Mars was 2° ecliptically from Asc, probably closer in mundo, squared by t Pluto (0°43'). It's actually a really sucky chart for health. (When TMSA has KSRs, we should revisit this. For 57N latitude, the mundane aspects and placement might be pretty interesting.)

Her Ennead had Pluto rising, but not closely (but natal Pluto near Dsc). The 10-Day solar is remarkable for MC square natal Pluto within a few minutes. Her SL has Moon opposite Mars-Uranus (but Uranus is closer; I'd have preferred the Moon-Mars be tightest) and a moderately foreground Jupiter. Her LS has a Sun-Saturn opposition (not close by orb or angularity, but close enough to count) along her natal Mars-Jupiter-Neptune (Saturn conjunct natal Mars being the most impressive aspect). Her Demi-LS is complex but mostly marked by transiting Jupiter the degree of Ascendant.

May she rest in peace.
She would not have been at Balmoral until sometime in August.
Balmoral Castle is open to the public from April to July each year and this time around it was open until August 2nd.

Pluto and Saturn are often associated with deaths, but Pluto also for all kinds of difficult/challenging transformations.
