Is there a way to add the EP/WP in Solar Maps?
I only get the natal lines Culm/Anti/Rising & Set.

Jupiter Sets At Dawn wrote:The angles aren't shown in Solar Maps. There's no MC, so there's no way to get the "east point" (the square to the MC.) The Culmination, aka MC shown for each planet is the place it would be overhead at the moment the map was cast for.
Angles are inherently local. Your MC is a line drawn south to north passing directly over the place you cast your chart for. The Eastpoint is the part of a line drawn at a 90 degree angle to the north-south MC line that's closest to the rising horizon.
Move a few miles east or west, and the MC and the east point also move. The Ascendent moves if you move east or west, but also if you move north or south. It's even more specific to that time and that place than the MC & east point.
Solar Maps aren't local charts. So, no MC or east point.

Jim Eshelman wrote:The closest you can get is squares to MC. I frequently flip between "on the angle" and "square the angle," regretting only that they can't be on the same map.
Fastest way to make the flip: In an open map, click the LINES button, uncheck Anticulminate and Set, click Zodiacal instead of In Mundo, and check Add Aspects box. On the arrow of Add Aspects, pick ONLY square.
Then, to flip back and forth it's a matter of clicking three check boxes and the Zodiacal dot and OK. To revert to your usual layout, reverse these.
