Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
Hi Steve. I’ve enjoyed reading your many posts on the forum and was very much interested in your analysis of this particular day/event in your life. I used this event & the chart you attached to have a close look at these methods and try to replicate your work – which I was able to do. It did raise an initial question in my mind regarding your use of Q1 over the Q2 that Jim seems to prefer but on further forum reading I see you addressed that issue in the thread “NQ1 Vr NQ2 Debate?? Natal Quotidians”. When I did both the Q1 & Q2 for the date in question (Friday, March 13, 1998) it certainly seemed to be a direct hit for the Q1 – really striking planetary symbolism. All was good.
I then recalled that in several other posts I’d previously read you had referenced this same event (at least I thought it was the same event?) using a different Sidereal method (Solar Quotidian) so I thought I’d try to replicate that chart. I worked over two threads – “A time when astrology amazed you” (Many Things….) & “The Q Day I almost lost my life and took another life” (Quotidians) and quickly realized that both the charts (Solar Quotidians) attached to the posts were calculated for a date of Friday, February 13, 1998 – exactly a month prior to the event referenced in the above post. I’m a little confused. Are you referencing the same event in all 3 posts, if so, what is the correct date? Or were these 2 terrible, separate (through similar) events within the space of a very fateful month between Feb 13 & Mar 13, 1998? Both charts for both days certainly look striking & very appropriate for a day described as “a worst day….”
Maybe I’ve missed something along the way? Any clarification would be great & thanks for all the wonderful & informative posts

Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
Mikejames, let me go back and refresh my memory for these posts. Its possible I made a typo with one of the two dates. But I will give the astrological symbolism for the date in question. I do remember it involved a quotidian chart.
Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
Mikejames, the worst day of my entire life occurred on Feb 13 1998 at 7:00 PM; Birmingham, Alabama 33N31; 86W48—due to an attempted robbery on me as an acting manager dealing with lots of cash. I came close to losing my life. I never will forget this day for another huge reason—I could not find any chart explicitly explaining the astrological symbolism to me for this terrible day. At this time in my life I was using a DOS program NOVA and spent several hours reading the thick manual by Robert Hand. I finally found where Hand in one short paragraph mentioned Cyril Fagan’s work on Solar Quotidians. I calculated the Solar Quotidian for me on Feb 13 1998 7:00 PM---and Bingo!!!—the exact/explicit planetary symbolism appeared to my eyes. This Solar Quotidian (SQ) is in the below link:
https://ibb.co/cYPjn5b
Note the partile 180 of SQ Moon-Mars on the SQ MC-IC axis! Also note SQ Uranus on SQ ASC! So, the day I almost suddenly lost my life was calculated with this Solar Quotidian Chart (A daily chart).
If you need help duplicating this SQ Chart, let me know and I or Jim will be glad to help.

Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
Just for fun, I'll work up, oh, everything for this event.
Event chart
At the time the event occurred, Mars was exactly on Descendant. Pluto and Moon were more widely angular. Interestingly, there were no close hard aspects at all.
Of great interest to me is that with Mars 0°28' before Dsc, Uranus was 0°13' before Vertex in azimuth: The angular Mars was in 0°17' PVP square with Uranus.
Transits to Natal
Not many and not all that major: t Sedna sq. r. Pluto 0°42' and t Mercury op. r Saturn 0°03'. The latter fits, but is hardly a trigger for a major event!
Secondary Progressions
I hardly think p Venus co. p Jupiter signaled the event (0°41')! In fact, we have a whole string of benefic aspects including (primary) Asc sq. r Venus 0°04' and p Venus co. r EP-a (0°15') as the strongest (with years-long p Jupiter on r EP-a 0°47'). All wrong! (But marking a wider period of life when things went really well - prosperously - for you.)
Tertiary Progressions
Not really any better with the admittedly fast, minor p3 Moon-Jupiter op (0°32'). One aspect with a 0°00' orb at least has a malefic involved, but doesn't fit the event beyond emotional excitement: p3 Mars square r Venus.
Solar Arc Directions
Quite a few aspects occurred but, again, the single strongest, expected to be the most impactful, is all wrong - d Venus co. r Asc 0°30'. We also have d Jupiter-Neptune to r Mercury (at best: imprudence, bad choices, getting misdirected), d Sun-Uranus to r Venus (unfitting), d Saturn to r Jupiter (well, it was a robbery). Certainly, one would not have predicted anything like this event from these directions.
All of these benefics at best show that you got away with your life. That's OK to see in a chart or two, with appropriate malefics in the other - but these benefics do not, by themselves, at all describe the main features of the event as you experienced and remembered it.
Sidereal Solar Return (SSR)
The main feature for the year is your Sun-Uranus precisely on the angles. I think it probably was a Sun-Uranus year for you - a year of changes, self-expression, new directions and opportunities - but that doesn't describe the event under study. (We don't necessarily expect the SSR to catch it since it wasn't the overall meaning of the whole year to you.)
But the SSR gives us our first clear indication that matches the event at all: SSR Moon squared natal Saturn 0°08'. That's a clean hit! We also see that SSR Moon is about 5° from opposite Mars (applying), and travelling about 1°/month, so we'd expect an appropriate Moon-Mars event in about five months, with a one-month orb. (More on this below.)
Transits to SSR
There are a few aspects of note, but the most important is t Sun sq. s Mars 0°57'. There are several related meanings of this but they all share the idea that your adrenaline (and heart) were surely pumping hard. Of interest (on theme, but not as clear as I'd like) is t Jupiter square s Pluto. The closest is strange - it may have a meaning I can't connect (some impact or side event about the same time) - is t Uranus sq. s Venus 0°04'.
Sidereal Lunar Return (SLR)
Steve, as you likely know, this was very generally the time of your life when Pluto was moving toward conjunction with your Moon, though it was still several degrees away. With what we now know of the workings of this chart, you will be very interested to know that the SLR had a mundane Moon-Pluto conjunction within 0°18'. Uranus was just over 1° from WP-a. The main indications of the chart were with this angular Uranus and exact Moon-Pluto conjunction, and then more widely-angular planets fill in the details: Exactly describing the event, Mars conjoined Jupiter in the setting foreground, 1°36' wide, an aspect of a robbery! This Mars-Jupiter squared your own Jupiter.
Finally, natal Saturn rose within about 1° and natal Pluto is 0°06' from square MC. This is quite dramatic and fitting! The SLR is quite excellent. Here is a more complete breakdown from TMSA:
Sidereal Demi-Lunar Return
The Demi-Lunar February 5 is, if anything, even better than the SLR. At first glance, you might think it doesn't fit - because Jupiter is only 1°49' past Midheaven. However, this Jupiter closely aspects Pluto: Pluto is 2°09' past Dsc, giving a Jupiter-Pluto mundane square of 0°20'.
Second, also in the foreground (but widely), transiting Mars squares your Moon -1°06' and squares the angular Pluto +1°14' - the midpoint is 0°04' from Mars and the aspects are all quite close. Here's the more complete workup from TMSA (the aspects really make this chart):
So far, we've seen that the most common techniques used before Fagan's Solunars revolution were either contradictory or (at best) tepid. As soon as we switched to Solunars, this all changed. The SSR had one clean hit with the Moon-Saturn aspect (and a future promise from Moon's progressions). The SLR and Demi-SLR were phenomenal. Before diving into the Day charts, let's look at a few more return charts.
Ennead & its quarter chart
This Ennead, a lesser Sun-based return, isn't very impressive. Nothing is closely angular. The most significant thing is Ennead Moon to your natal Sun-Uranus.
But the Decilium - a "demi-Enny," as Matthew and I came to call it - it quite good! (I've found that these 10-day charts are usually much better than the 40-day charts.) First, you get a repeat of the Jupiter-Pluto paran on angles - but for pure blood-pounding threat to life, look at this:
13°03' Sco - t Pluto [1°13' from MC]
14°52' Aqu - t Mars [0°52' from EP]
15°22' Sco - r Moon
15°44' Sco - MC
Anlunar Return
I'm not big on Anlunars, and this one doesn't change my mind at all - with the SSR's Venus-Jupiter square on its angles, among other things. At best, it has Sun opposite natal Pluto, which is a few degrees from MC. Mostly, though, it's a bad chart.
Kinetic Lunar Return (KLR)
This is good: Transiting Mars-Jupiter tightly conjoined on IC (a robbery aspect) and progressed Sun-Saturn near the angles (a nearly partile 62' Mars-Saturn conjunction at MC).
0°30' Aqu - t Mars
1°14' Leo - KLR MC
1°32' Aqu - t Jupiter
20°56' Can - p Pluto
22°44' Lib - p Sun
23°59' Lib - KLR Asc
27°05' Can - p Mars
28°07' Can - p Saturn
1°14' Leo - KLR MC
Demi-KLR
This mostly added anxiety with a transiting Mercury-Neptune conjunction at MC. There's a background Moon-Saturn conjunction (partile in mundo). Natal Saturn squares Asc. But it's not as good as the full KLR.
I think it's time to move on to the daily charts.
Sidereal Natal Quotidian (SNQ) - Q2
20°45' Aqu - t Mars
21°35' Aqu - SNQ MC
Very good!
Solar Quotidian (SQ)
This is the chart you showed before, with excellent symbolism for the attack, the threat, and the robbery elements. Even the best transit to the natal chart for the day and event (Mercury opposite natal Saturn) is elevated from a minor "this happens several times a year" to be one of the primary aspects of the day.
29°33' Lib - SQ MC
29°42' Lib - r Jupiter
29°44' Lib - t Mars
29°50' Ari - SQ Moon
0°25' Aqu - t Sun
24°00' Cap - t Mercury
24°03' Can - r Saturn
24°11' Ari - SSR Moon
24°55' Cap - SQ EP-a
This means that the SSR set up with an exact Moon square to Saturn and the event ripened with an exact Moon opposition to Mars - the double wallop inherent in the SSR - on the day they BOTH came exactly to angles.
Progressed Sidereal Solar Return (PSSR)
I'm only using the estimated way of calculating this in Solar Fire, but you can expect the angles to be accurate to within 1°. The main thing it offers is Asc 3° Pisces activating your natal Sun-Uranus for the day. At least on this occasion, the SQ is much better.
Sidereal Natal Quotidian (SNQ) - Q1
In fairness, I'll calculate the Q1 of the natal for comparison even though I think it is an invalid technique. It doesn't give us anything with 1° of the angles but does give a partile (41') progressed Moon-Neptune conjunction. This has to be acknowledged - this was surely an occasion of a very bad case of the jitters! - though I like better the exact timing of the Q2 with transiting Mars on MC. - Oops, I missed one angularity, Q Asc sq t Uranus (it's OK symbolism but not as clear as other things we've seen).
In summary, I'd say that while transits were ultimately part of the foundation, the historic methods of transits, progressions, and directions failed us miserably and the Solunars tool kit - the SSR and its progressions, the SLR and its demi, and even lesser charts like the 10-day quarter-Ennead and the Kinetic Lunar - were quite exceptional. The Q2 natal quotidian and the SQ tapped out the exact day quite accurately.

While it is not a scientificly proven chart, or one that has much written about.....
I believe that the composite chart of Steves natal, with the event chart tells another component, and Steve's progressed chart composited with the event fills in and gives a very clear picture.
Venus mercurcy conjunction opposite saturn.....among some other interesting aspects.....but nothing at that time was Angular. If Jupiter had been on the angle considering its tie to Pluto, the robbery might have been successful.
Time was on your side with you.

At this time in my life I had no Sidereal Astrology teachers or schools to call upon for help in learning Sidereal Astrology. I had to self teach myself how to compute Sidereal Astrology charts with a computer program by trial & error---it was difficult for me.Time was on your side with you.

Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
To be clear, I don't think Uranus being on Vx was important at all, but the mundane square of Uranus on the prime vertical to Mars on the horizon is extremely important.

Hi Steve. Thanks for the clarification regarding the date. I'll just ignore the March 13, 1998 date. It's indeed both a terrible event in your life BUT also it seems to have had a silver lining in that it crystalized your interest in Sidereal astrology - so I guess there was some upside to it
Thanks also to Jim for your detailed analysis of the day using the full suite of Sidereal approaches.

So if I understand you, at the time of the robbery you were a Tropical astrologer and had been using astrology to the best of your understanding?SteveS wrote: Tue Dec 14, 2021 6:25 am V wrote:Yes, in a way I was very lucky to come out alive from this robbery attemp. But, I can look at all the known charts and no way any chart tops that Solar Quotidian (SQ) Chart for the day of the robbery attemp. I was in utter AWE when I first computed that SQ symbolizing a DAY full of Moon-Mars energy. This one SQ chart made me realize how important Sidereal Astrology was for me to learn. At this time in my life I had no Sidereal Astrology teachers or schools to call upon for help in learning Sidereal Astrology. I had to self teach myself how to compute Sidereal Astrology charts with a computer program by trial & error---it was difficult for me.Time was on your side with you.
well whew.....it really could have turned out much differently....so glad your still with us and sharing your experiences.
I hear what your saying about that SQ, and your opinion that it's the chart on top. I respectfully disagree, and believe from my experience that the charts I refer to are the ones on top.

I'm a bit confused....the event was in 1998. but you said you were practicing Tropical at the time, from 1977-1988?

Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
not really.
so in 1998 you had been using Sidereal Astrology for a decade, as you stopped in 1988 after reading a Sidereal book?
but you had never looked at the chart for this event until after the event, years after, and that SQ chart convinced you that validation of Sidereal, which you had been using since 1988..
still very very confusing
I was curious because when I was young I used Tropical astrology, especially for relationship/synastry but also for events and well....nothing ever worked out the way I thought it would.
yet when I look at those charts now with the correct math and zodiac in the right place, it clearly shows it worked out exactly as it worked out, meaning with the planets in the correct position/sign. it showed the real nature and character.
I've had guns pointed at me.
It truly makes for the worst of the worst of the worst of days..... for all involved. I'm so very sorry that you too felt that primal fear for your life. I hope that all involved in such ugliness were brought to the highest possible justice and what ever in thier own personal natal chart that would bring out such ugliness that day, has changed for the better and that they have thier needs met.

Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
Let me set down the sequence of events in Steve's life, perhaps this will clarify things for you, Veronica.
- Begins studying and practicing Tropical Astrology (1977)
- Reads Interpreting Solar Returns (1988)
- Begins studying and practicing Sidereal Astrology (also 1988)
- Has "Worst Day In His Life" robbery attempt (1998)
- Casts SQ for robbery (first time using the technique)(1998)
- Is further convinced of the validity of Sidereal Astrology (1998)
- Embarks on more intense study and practice of Sidereal Astrology (1998 - 2021, very likely to continue for life)
Time matters

Sorry V, I don’t know how else to explain this issue to you. It took me months/years to learn how to calculate ALL the charts pertaining to Sidereal Astrology. When I first read Jim’s book in 1988, I mainly was only computing for years SSRs and SLRs charts and realized the rich symbolism in em according to Jim’s teachings. It was not until 1998 that I learned how to compute a Solar Quotidian Chart which nailed the exact symbolism for the exact day in the robbery attempt in 1998.…still very very confusing

so at the time of the robbery he Was a practicing Sidereal astrolger....
that's what I thought
but then when I asked if he was a tropical astrologer at the time, he said yes.
regardless. small details.
I was just curious and reflecting about how I had been using tropical astrology to set up my wedding date (July 16th, 2000 noonish) because of the strong symbolism the planets in signs resonated with me, and my complete lack of any real astrology at all in regards to aspects and I'd never heard of or thought about progressions....honestly I was pregnant and was trying to use every and any tool to try and make the best of everything... a come up with a date to hold the wedding before I got to pregnant to wear my mothers dress....
so in a way I feel heavily responsible for the shambles of my marriage due to me and my arrogance and using a tool I was not fit to use.
cue Mickey Mouse and the broom.
so in your case,
I was wondering I guess if you had first ever looked at the chart under tropical eyes and your psychological impressions of the event were colored by that .....
or was the event first looked at with the understanding of time that Sidereal gifts us.....
I'm very very sorry that you had to shoot a gun at another soul. That's a highly traumatic experience for most people. I hate to say it, but I'm so glad you missed and didnt kill them. I know soldiers who have killed and it hurts them everyday.
I am especially thankful that they missed you and that you got to live a long blessed life!!

I had been thinking about how biologically traumatic birth itself is on our being....how at that moment our little body is full fight fight fight for your life feelings, and how possibly that sets some psychological bar for us so that as we progress through life and interact with time, if when times are similar to the time of our birth we psychologically experience events that fit the bill so to speak.

I agree V--life is a-lot of fight, fight, fight--but on that evening I found myself in a fight for my life which I will always remember---can't remember the fight with birth but probably a-lot of crying.

Steve,
not to sound at all belittling to your personal experience of this literal fight for your very existence....
but I was curious if because you were married, and in a very legal sort of contractual composite chart with your wife already preixsisting....
How did this events chart compare to hers? Have you ever looked at hers to see? As sad and horrible as it would be to find out your partner had almost died I would think it might show some powerful aspects.

No V, I have not looked at her charts for that day, but will take a look later and report back. But, for your interest my wife on more than one occasion told me not to take the promotion to # 1 manager unless the Home Office Excetives got me armed security. I was promoted to top management to first specificcally control, count, and bank all the cash which was coming in fast to the business operation. On the weekend days of peak business, I would make 3 bank deposits a day. The Company had a policy that no management could carry a gun for protection. I broke this policy and carried a concealed gun. I am sure the robbery attempt was an inside job and the robber knew of the "no carry weapon" policy for management. The only thing that probably save my life was when the robber heard the gun shot from my weapon and ran away. After this robbery attempt, the Executives still would not provide armed security for top management, I resigned and started delivering Pizzas in a small rural area for income. 3 months later, 3 armed robbers entered the manager's office with shotguns and got away with 65 K because the manager failed to make the 3 daily deposits on a Sat. Of course it was an inside job from a staff of 60 employees who knew the manager was not making all the necessary daily deposits. After the shotgun robbery, the Company provided armed security and tried to hire me back to run floor operations---but no--I had enough of that environment. My wife had a good job which provided me with health care and I continued to deliver Pizzas and was content & happy.
I was in awe when later I discovered Sidereal Astrology had a methodology for computing daily Solar Quotidian (SQ) Charts, and it was a daily SQ Chart which perfectely timed this robbery attemp with the Moon-Mars-Uranus-MC-ASC symbolism. I am still in awe---WTF--how can an astronomy with symbolic meanings from planets time to one specific day in your life with your birth time when the worst day of your life occurrs In other words, this fated worst day in my life was calculated at my birth!!! And, I had to be in the right/wrong location for this quotidian symbolism to manifest itself. I was defintely in the wrong place at the wrong time. We are all floating around in a Time-Space continium governed by a force of TIME. "Timing is Everything."

Steve, I think using definite enclosed statements like this "the worst", or "the best" is not a wise thing to do, without accompanying these words with adding to them "so far", or "yet", whenever we are talking about life that is still going on, i.e. unfolding.

I'm sure the money/business was insured and considering all the concern you expressed, then your horrible day seems very likely, which is a horrible thought but seems to be true according to NCIs shows ect which portray such crimes.

Steve,
This event really bothered me.
I do appreciate you sharing it as an excellent example of astrology, but it unsettled me to the very core. To think that there is someone out there at large who would do such an ugly thing!!! And to entangle you all up in thier mean hurtful ugly aspects.
You are literally astrologically entangled in a synastry chart with some bully who you dont even know who it is!!! That is just the worst IME, not knowing who it was.
It touches me, because I too dont know who it was exactly that night that hurt me. I've always wanted to know, because it feels like they stole my aspects from me, instead of me giving them, and now they are still very very much using me, my aspects from my chart that they gained from "relating" with me.
I feel that you too had your beautiful aspects stolen by this ungodly troll who is still stealing from you to this day.
There is a man on the FBIS most wanted listed who shot and killed an armor car driver at a movie theater. The FBI lists two different birthdates used, and said he is Mormon.
July 1, 1969 or Jan. 17, 1971.
if I had to pick that jerks birthdate I would go with Jan.

Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
This stuff happens, though, Veronica. It's not even rare. In the '90s, I was driving in my own neighborhood - in LA about 8 PM at night, a slightly dark block on a brightly-lit main thoroughfare (but with little traffic). Someone on the curb waved urgently with both arms, seeming to need help, needing me to pull over. I did pull over and stop, rolled down the window, and immediately had the back window of my car shot out and the bullet punch through the windshield a foot from me head.
I accelerated out of there (obviously!), drove the four blocks to home, called the police and filed a report, and got the windows fixed the next day. Mostly that was the end of it but, yes, there were some shakes and anxieties for a few days.

Nobody said it's no big deal. That's insulting.
People are saying it happens often enough you shouldn't be surprised it does. You should take precautions and move on. OUTRAGE is unproductive and frankly slows down the process of finding ways to protect yourself.
You may enjoy getting all hot over things and stomping around and generally expressing hate and discontent. Other people do not enjoy your upset and should not be expected to. Please do not demand other people witness your emotional outburst.
When you're upset, please, go down in the basement and blow off your steam, and come back when you've settled down. Everybody you know will thank you.

At least one person is murdered in Los Angeles every day. This is down from slightly over three a day a few years ago. (It was less than 1/dy in 2019. I can't get 2021 figures yet, but a mid-year report had about 140, so despite sensational headlines it may actually be down a bit this year.)It happened Once in Steve's life and almost killed him.

I guess I'm not sure whether being horrified by this is useful. I could argue that nobody is going to do anything about it until everyone is horrified; or I could argue that being horrified gets in the way of doing anything about it.
I'm all for doing something about it.

Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
I was carjacked at gunpoint in Atlanta when I was 19 years old. I was at a pay phone when he drove up, his vehicle mangled from a recent accident. I said to my mother who I was on the phone with that I needed to go, someone had been in an accident & needed the phone. I got back into my vehicle, was rummaging through my purse & suddenly there was a gun pointed inches from the side of my head through my open window. It was a great experience, after my robber left with my car, 2 men came running from a liquor store nearby (they witnessed the event). We comically all discussed we didn't have a quarter to call the police before realizing we didn't need one to call 911. The police were excellent, not only did they locate my vehicle & apprehend the perp the same night, within 2-3 hours, they returned my purse & all of my money. I identified the perp from the back of a police car (he couldn't see me) and he received 10 years without parole. The mangled car he drove up in? Yeah he stole that too & wrecked it getting away. He was also a key suspect in a 'drive-thru' murder. Literally, it was a gang initiation, drive through a 'drive-thru' & shoot point blank whoever is there to greet you. They didn't have enough evidence to convict on that charge however. At least my interaction with him put him away for some time. There's a silver-lining in every situation, I've found.Veronica wrote: Sun Dec 26, 2021 11:57 am These things happen?

I've had multiple 'events' happen in my life, including the (yes) common, unconscious rape when I was a teenager - these events happen to young men too (by girls), far more than people realize I think. Other events in my life include, washing my hands in the bathroom at a mall, alone so I thought, when a stall opened & a man came out & asked to see my panties. I was probably 13. Security never found the guy. Some years later while visiting a friend at work late one night, I ran out to grab something from my car parked behind the building. I heard a rustling in the woods & the next thing I knew, a very large man came bursting out of the trees, totally in the buff, pleasuring himself, eyes wild (clearly on drugs & unhinged). Slightly desensitized at this point I suppose, I simply slammed my car door, ran back into the building & casually told my friend what had happened. It was two other people that had seen what happened outside who actually called the police. They never found the guy. I could go on but I'll spare you.
From all of these events something positive was born. It's helped me be more vigilant. Now when I walk anywhere, especially upon entering my apartment, it's like I'm driving, looking every which way for an approaching person so I'm never surprised again. It helped me to see the ways I was being careless & while I would never be able to ensure my safety 100%, I could do a much better job than I was doing. The world's a dangerous place & at least for me, I seemed to be a danger magnet. Not only did I become more cautious, I became more grateful for my life because my stories could certainly be much darker. There was also a community factor that maybe I wouldn't have recognized had it not been for the events, people coming together to soothe, set things right, & bring justice. So something better than hope, actual goodwill in the face of evil.

Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
It's not other people just move on and let things go. It's that they pick where they let out the anger and outrage. They don't dump it on all and sundry who cross their path. And they don't dump it on those select people all the time.I've been living in the basement trying to mind my own business and stay in my own lane and focus on my life and figure out what the heck is wrong with me and why cant I just let things go and move on like everyone else
Sometimes the rage doesn't help. We used to say oh, you have to vent and let it all out. Then we found out venting didn't lessen the anger. It made it worse, especially if it was a group. People got to hating each other. If you're going to let the anger out, you need to find ways to make it pay it's keep. Like LeiLei did - she used it to figure out how she could avoid similar situations.
That's the key. Use your anger and outrage to fix something. Maybe not that one particular situation (you are not going to single-handedly fix date rape) but fix something. Even if you just clean the oven.
Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
I had a long past psychic aquaintence tell me a good way to vent anger is put on protective glasses and heavy gloves, then put glass in a container and hammer it to pieces. The psychic was a big beleiver in all kinds of safe "Releasing Mechnisms" for all kinds harmful emotions. So, I think JSAD is offering good advice for channeling a negative emotion into a safe(er) outlet. The main problem is sometimes we find ourselves at the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong other people (person). There are bad days and there are good days, Sidereal Astrology is a good tool for looking out into the future for the bad days or good days. Thats what I learned from discovering Quotidians for the first time with my worst day in my life. I knew I was in a very dangerious robbery environment before this bad day happened to me. I had a choice to change my dangerious environment but chose to stay in this dangerious enviromnet. Maybe another lesson here is when we have clear choices to make in order to steer us away from the dangerious environments---exercise the better CHOICE.

Re: The Worst DAY IN MY LIFE
The tightest Topocentric Primary Directions for your "Worst DAY" seem entirely appropriate...
11th (the business' money) conjunct Pluto (underworld activity, strong-arming, life-or-death circumstances) 0° 1'
Saturn sextile MC 0° 2'
The PSSR aspects seem indicative, as well...
Saturn conjunct S. Node 0° 1'
Mars octile MC 0° 3'
Transiting...
t (Mars/Zeus) = Node 0° 1' (meeting someone who has a firearm)

Yes James, even though I don't have any experience with your methodology, I am sure there are all kinds of astrological methods supporting this awful day in my life.
