Betty White died at her home today, December 31, 2021. According to the LA fire department: “We responded to a medical aid request. The call was received at 9:33 a.m. We have determined death of an approximately 99-year-old female.”

The death is reported as having occurred "overnight," in her home in Brentwood, CA, though of course it was reported in terms of when paramedics were called in the morning.
