2013 Marriage decisions

The Supreme Court's decisions on the DOMA and California Proposition 8 cases came down this morning [6/26/2013] in a session that began at 10:00 AM EDT at the Supreme Court Building, Washington, DC (38N53'26", 77W00'17").

With all of the discussion already on this site about these cases, this seems a good time to look at the final question: What do the mundane charts show about the matter?

YEAR: The January 14 Capsolar for Washington, DC has the Sun setting (3° from conjunct Mercury). Also, it has Pluto conjunct Venus on the Westpoint, and less than 3°from conjunct. In fact, Venus is 2°36' from conjunct Pluto on one side, and 2°09' from square Uranus on the other, so that Venus is 14' from the Uranus-Pluto midpoint.

Nothing could be clearer! An initial focus on marriage (Sun on Descendant) and a transformation of Venus matters.

MONTH: Because the prior Caplunar was a "you can't make them up this good!" perfect match for the decision, I suspect the decision was being finalized at that time; but it didn't come out (pardon the expression) under the prior Caplunar. Rather, it was released just after the June 24 Caplunar which has Mars 0°31' from the Descendant in mundo, joined by Uranus in the lower foreground.

This chart may or may not be part of the story of today's events. The timing for today was partly a formality, ensuring that it was announced as the final act of this session of the Supreme Court, and the decision was made in weeks past. Even though, some people will take these decision as an affront and a challenge, I doubt that they will regard it in radical, explosive terms; and what we expect from Mars and Uranus together in an ingress foreground is exactly that, an explosive, violent, confrontive, shocking result. (Examples; Halifax explosion, Lincoln's murder, Tunguska incident, Hindenburg explosion, “Dark Knight” shooting, Sikh temple shooting, Benghazi attack, etc.)

TRANSITS TO CAPSOLAR: Uranus is 0°31' from the Capsolar MC. Venus is 1°09' from the Capsolar Ascendant. Pluto is within a degree of the Capsolar EP in mundo. The symbolism is intact!

CAPSOLAR QUOTIDIAN ANGLES: Ingress Jupiter is 0°36' from the CapQ Descendant. Transiting Neptune is within 0°50' of square the CapQ Ascendant.

CANSOLAR QUOTIDIAN ANGLES: Transiting Saturn was 0°07' from square the CanQ Ascendant.
