Eastern Australian fires

Post by Jim Eshelman »

(10/22/2013)

Eastern Australia is being plagued by a dozen serious bush fires that so far destroyed dozens of homes. The main fires are a bit inland from Sydney.

Check the current Arilunar: A partile Mars-Neptune opposition is not far from the meridian. (It's exact off the coast, but has a reach inland.) This is in the context of a Caplunar with Saturn setting in the same general vicinity.

Even more exactly, the Mars-Neptune is across the horizon of the Libsolar. For Sydney itself, Mars is 0°13' below the horizon, opposite Neptune 1°08' below the other end. Their midpoint is half a degree from the angle.

I can't find reference to when this began... but it's worth noticing at the moment.

My better half has this Mars-Neptune 180 falling on her Oct 20th SSR horizon, and on her birthday she had to take her Mother to the emergency room for severe chest pains, so I expect a Mars-Neptune solar year for her—definitely not a pleasant aspect.
