Police first sighted the OJ Simpson white Ford Bronco June 17, 1994, about 6:45 PM, Los Angeles. Besides the anniversary coming up, it is worth examination because it is the sixth most "universally impactful" TV event, ranking behind only the 9/11 attacks and hurricane Katrina. At the very least, this makes for a media event and - given that plus the "slow car chase," I'd expect significant Mercury involvement (we'll see).
This "universally impactful" rating is based on how many people saw it live, how many could recall where they were and what they were doing, etc. Per CNN, the top six are:
1. 9/11
2. Hurricane Katrina
3. OJ verdict
4. Challenger space shuttle disaster
5. Death of Osama bin Ladin
6. OJ car chase

Re: OJ Simpson car chase
EVENT: June 17, 1994, about 6:45 PM, Los Angeles
PRECIS
Year: Mercury (Sun, Venus, Mars, Uranus, Neptune). Diverse aspects.
Month: Neptune (Moon, Uranus, Venus). Moon-Uranus-Neptune.
Day: Pluto, Venus, Jupiter, Moon-Jupiter, Venus-Jupiter (CanQ). Saturn, Venus-Saturn (Cansolar transits).
Year: Capsolar
Good start! The one tightly angular planet is Mercury, 2°47' above Descendant. We also have Sun, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, and Mars in various degrees of angularity and multiple interlocking conjunctions. (It's the same Capsolar as the Northridge earthquake.)
Year: Cansolar
I want to mention the Cansolar, even though we don't have to check it. It's a great Cansolar for regionally-impactful murder, especially as a crime of passion. Mars is exactly setting (1°02') and less than 2° from square Venus (which is < 2° from square Ascendant). Saturn is more distantly foreground.
Quarter: Arisolar
It's hard for me to assess the Arisolar - I'm not sure what to make of it. Jupiter is < 2° from square Ascendant, in close opposition to Venus (which also is within wider orb of square Ascendant). I suppose it shows "celebrity dominates everyone's attention"... but I'm not sure.
Month: Caplunar
Another strange chart, but its strangeness may be the message! It seems to convey the puzzlement and curiosity of, "What's happening? What's happening now?"
Neptune on IC (1°53'), Uranus (4°19'), Moon (4°19')
Moon-Neptune (2°58'), Moon-Uranus (1°22'), Uranus-Neptune (1°36')
Venus on EP (2°26')
Week: Canlunar & Arilunar
The Canlunar is dormant. So is the Arilunar. The Caplunar remains the ingress of the week.
Day: Capsolar Quotidian & Transits
None.
Day: Cansolar Quotidian & Transits
This one seems to have it all! Observe:
CanQ MC conj. s. Plujto (0°46')
CanQ Asc sq. t. Ju[iter (0°21'), op. t. Venus (2°10')
CanQ Moon-Jupiter square (0°21')
-------------------------------------------------
t. Saturn conj. Cansolar Asc (1°11'), sq. Cansolar Venus (0°06')
