As for "good people in general," I think most people are good people in general, and Sun-Saturn probably has about the same number of exceptions as most other astrological factors. Some exceptions with close Sun-Saturn conjunctions or oppositions include Helen Duncan (who would have my sympathy as the last person ever prosecuted under England's witchcraft statutes, but she actually defrauded people), James Holmes (who murdered several people during the opening of a Batman movie near Denver), Vegas crime boss Lucky Luciano, and Mark David Chapman, who murdered John Lennon.
Most of them, though, are quite decent people as you say.
And yes, they all seem hard working, often quite driven.
I can't confirm that they have "an easy flow in general life." There is certainly an advantage in life because they are conscientious and work hard - that has definite rewards. But there is also a lot of struggle in life. Father issues are predictably common, and these make life harder: Among the famous we have examples of Jane Fonda and Julian Lennon, for example, both of whom had father estrangement that affected them deeply. I might agree that the struggles these people had were ones they could usually manage and which defined them, but some didn't come out so well, e.g., Charles Manson. Even when much of life went well, there often were serious health problems that defined much of their life and led to early deaths (consider, for example, Cass Elliot and Linda McCartney). There were also personal tragedies which, sometimes, are what people remember most about them, and a larger number seem to turn dark and hurtful (such as Manson, Genevieve Lhermitte who killed her children, Eva Braun, Rev. Jim Jones, and some pretty brutal political figures), though there are also near saints with the aspect.

I don't have many politicians in my Sun-Saturn conjunction or opposition list, but those on the list who went into politics are strong-arm, dominating figures such as Emperor Franz Joseph or Gov. George Wallace.They are good people in general. They can be politicians.

I can confirm a few of these observations from cases known to me, but not all of them. Among pubic figures, there are certainly a number of entertainers (as in all astrological characteristics, just because we look at so man entertainers' charts), with a lot of humor and some epic humor in some of them. Bill Maher as an example, and the phenomenal Carole King. (Both are Capricorns as well.) Despite my Angular Jupiter, I feel that I am an extremely hard worker, especially with work I am passionate about.
I had attributed that to my Scorpio Stellium (Moon, Neptune, Jupiter and Mars) previously yet thinking about my newly discovered mundane Moon Saturn Aspect, with my Moon square my Sun, I wonder if that is where my strong and hard work ethic and desire to be of service actually comes from.
