Tomorrow's Arisolar occurs April 14, 2022, 8:50:06 PM EDT (per TMSA). For the U.S., I think it's boring with Mercury exactly angular, seconded by a moderate Uranus and a sliver of Saturn. Because the Cansolar is dormant for Washington, the chart last six months (until the Libsolar), but in other parts of the world it will be a three-month chart.
With things cooking in the world, it may be of greatest interest in other parts of the world.
BEIJING is the first place to catch my attention on the astro-map with Mars on MC and Saturn culminating over much of central (inland) China. Mars and Saturn rise through the middle of Africa and the eastern end of the Mediterranean, with Mars closely rising in Beirut and nearby Jerusalem.
Mars and Saturn square MC through much of central Europe, with a Sun-Mars paran on angles in Warsaw: Poland, therefore, is about to take a new strong hand in affairs, probably military leadership. I don't like the Mars-Saturn angularity through southeast Asia.
In good news, Venus dominates the Korean peninsula.
The most interesting areas, of course, may be spots where the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction is angular. This exactly culminates in Tokyo and rises through Tehran (where it surely means new oil wealth).
This list, of course, is not exhaustive. See the astro-map if you're interested in the fine points around the world.

Re: 2022 Arisolar
Highlighting a few spots:
BEIJING has Mars 0°42' off MC, Neptune square Asc 0°19', and Jupiter square Asc 0°47'. In this case, I think Jupiter speaks to arrogance and ambition and the whole is threatening and volatile.
BEIRUT has Mars 0°04' from Asc with Venus 0°39' from EP. Both are strong, but with Mars that close I can't count on Venus to constrain it. This region may be the new outbreak violence spot of the quarter. (Venus and Saturn are each 5° from Asc, their midpoint 22' from the angle, so there is sadness and loss - probably violence leading to mourning.)
JERUSALEM is slightly less in the line of fire, but with similar energies. Mars remains partile conjunct Ascendant, 0°216' above it, without Venus on EP but with Ve/Sa only 06' from Asc. Israel may be getting this worse than Lebanon.
PYONGYANG has Venus 0°36' from MC and Moon 0°29' from sq. Asc. At least based on the Arisolar, this area isn't a threat in the new quarter (but K-pop may become even bigger). Seoul is essentially the same.
Of course, what everyone wants to know about most are Moscow and Kyiv.
MOSCOW has great activity in the chart with seven planets foreground and strong aspects among them. Strongest are Saturn 2°54' below Asc and Pluto 2°59' above Asc. This looks quite bad for Russia, brutal on the Russian people and perhaps on the government. Cities and nations have fallen into final ruin under Saturn-Pluto aspects this close to the angle (their midpoint is 0°02' from the angle). Five mundane aspects mostly add to the tragedy - such as a triple Venus-Mars-Saturn conjunction which suggests inhuman cruelty - but two aspects need a closer look, including a 2° Moon-Sun mundane opposition (a sign of strength, assertion, and usually national pride but known for triggering hard economic cycles). Also, the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction that occurs everyone on earth is mundanely at 0°00' orb for Moscow. Since one doesn't expect sudden humanitarian interests out of Moscow, aside from the impact of inflation I suspect (within the angular Saturn-Pluto) that it will mean disillusionment in failing leadership and the magnitude of human suffering. Perhaps this is wishful thinking, but I won't rule out a coup.
For KYIV, the Arisolar is dormant. It has nothing to say. The Capsolar continues its solitary dominance as chart of the year.

I find it interesting that you find it boring that Mercury is Angular.
It made me curious about the nature of something, anything being considered boring by a person and how that in of itself seems to be a part of our individual Mercurian nature.....
My mother said being bored sometimes is a good thing and that it isnt good for us to be always being active.
Let's hope it's a kind time for the US.

Re: 2022 Arisolar
In terms of forecasting mundane events, it is always easier with powerful malefics and change-driving planets, and even benefics at times. Since this isn't a chart about individuals but, rather, about mass minds and headlines, subtleties tend to get lost. Mundane astrology is a reading of the lowest common denominator, phenomena that stand the greatest chance of arising out of the largest number of people.Veronica wrote: Wed Apr 13, 2022 7:20 pm I find it interesting that you find it boring that Mercury is Angular.
The main thing Mercury on an angle unafflicted usually means is that the news media is busier than usual and spends a lot of time even talking about itself; and, secondarily, the "old reliables" that transportation and communication themes are in the news. (Aren't they always?) We can't even tell the basic thing people want to know: Will this six months be a good period or a bad period, all things considered.
My standard full paragraph on Mercury angular in a mundane chart is the following. (Leave out the stuff about Mercury afflicted, since it isn't.)
Expect obvious themes of commerce, communication, transportation, and technology. When Mercury is afflicted, expect vehicular accidents and other “travel tragedies.” Mercury is a lead planet in war, especially air attacks, and even attacks by the air, i.e., excessive wind.
Often, Mercury simply means that the news media mobilizes. Breaking news, special broadcasts, media events, and other incidents that interrupt normal broadcasts for news reports (especially if they take over the airwaves for a long stretch) are all Mercurial. For smaller events, Mercury simply means, “Here is where the news media will put its attention today.”

Re: 2022 Arisolar
For Uranus, I get it a bit wider. I was racing through these charts, spending about 10-15 seconds on each location around the world, so I missed the Uranus' Class 3 angularity. Depending on what part of Moscow one uses, I get an orb of 2°05':
18°36' Aries - Uranus
20°41' Capricorn - Asc
Every planet Venus through Pluto is foreground or angular. Of these seven planets, Uranus is fifth strongest, the Saturn-Pluto coming first at 98% maximum strength, Venus and Mars (each about 5° off the horizon) both at 94%, and Uranus (more than 2°) at 87%.

En route to work, will check later this morning; but I remember Venus and Mars were equal strength and secondarycangularities, the important thing being their foreground conjunction (which is war prone).

Re: 2022 Arisolar
For Moscow, TMSA's data base gives 55N45, 37E37. This matches the SF American Atlas coordinates to the minute of latitude and within 2' of longitude. These rather significant discrepancies are likely due to calculated time differences if let Solar Fire calculate the time of the chart. That's why I gave the exact time at the top of the thread: TMSA calculates luminaries to the second of arc MUCH more accurately than SF for ancient times, though usually only a little different in modern times (ingresses and returns usually agreeing within a minute of time). Sometimes, though, SF is off by a lot more than we ever knew.
In this case, TMSA calculates 8:50:06 PM EDT and SF gives 8:49:40 PM. That 26 seconds of time should only give 8' on MC.
In any case, for Moscow in the Arisolar I get Venus 5°51' below Asc, Mars 4°47' below Asc. Additionally, as you indicated (and I missed), Venus is 1°28' from EP in RA. The degree and a half from a minor angle is about as strong as 5° from a major angle, so I hadn't noticed that there was a second angularity of similar strength. (I've asked Mike to add a one-letter designation after angularity strength to show what angle it's based on. I wasn't going to catch this subtlety spending 10-15 seconds looking at the chart.)
Here are the full relevant Moscow numbers. Don't miss the midpoints I put off the side.

Re: 2022 Arisolar
For the U.S., I was right that this chart was mostly boring. In hindsight, I think the primary expression of the six-month Arisolar was in the January 6 congressional committee: It's been a long time since the news has had events like this take over such large blocks of the air waves. I'd have done better if I'd forecast the Mercury angular standards: News media suddenly owns the turf, lots of special broadcasts and interruptions of regular programs, the news media itself may be a big part of the story, and there are documents, documents, and more documents - an abundance of documents! - owning people's attention. (The boxes at Mar-a-Lago fall in the same category: Boxes of papers haven't caught so much popular attention since the 2000 presidential election!)
Still, compared to the sort of things we normally study mundanely, this chart was mostly boring. Nobody died from it, nothing was destroyed, no miraculous saves, no dramatic shifts in conditions for the masses or spotlighted individuals.
So it hasn't been a good six months for China, though I haven't seen anything to reach double-malefic level.
Mars and Saturn square MC through much of central Europe, with a Sun-Mars paran on angles in Warsaw: Poland, therefore, is about to take a new strong hand in affairs, probably military leadership. I don't like the Mars-Saturn angularity through southeast Asia.
I called it good news because I thought it meant a peaceful temperament. Instead, it meant that North Korea was happy: Their missile tech has improved significantly and they've been showing it off.
I don't know of anything big in Tokyo. Tehran, though, has really come into the spotlight for the weapons they have been providing Russia for use in Ukraine. It's been a good season for them.

China is a hard read. They've gotten very secretive this year. There seem to be worse disease outbreaks that have been kept quiet. Their real estate market is suddenly really shaky. They're probably feelings the effects of global inflation more than most countries.Jim Eshelman wrote: Wed Apr 13, 2022 6:43 pm With things cooking in the world, it may be of greatest interest in other parts of the world.
