Atlanta area shootings

Post by Jim Eshelman »

Saturday afternoon (2/7/15) - I can't find a time, so I'm using 3 PM - a man with a gun walked into his ex-wife's home in suburban Atlanta and began shooting. Four were killed (including two children), and two more injured. He also killed himself. The local event is quite noteworthy because of its gruesomeness, a scene (including a dead child lying in the middle of the street) that caused a 38-year veteran Chief Deputy to remark that he had "never seen this many victims in one shooting."

Year: Capsolar
Although the Capsolar is dormant for Washington, Atlanta is far enough away that it picks up a very powerful, shocking pattern:
Uranus (IC 0°23')
Pluto (sq. MC 0°54')
-- Uranus-Pluto sq. (0°50')
-- Moon-Jupiter sq. (2°01')

Month: Caplunar
The same aspect dominated the Caplunar.
Pluto (sq. Asc 1°36')
Uranus (Dsc 2°36')
-- Uranus-Pluto sq. (0°46' in mundo)
Moon (IC 7°43')

Week: Canlunar
Ugh. It's a spectacular chart: spectacularly deadly, violent, and hurtful. One hates to see charts like this. Of great interest, BTW, is the Venus-Neptune influence which I've previously identified as the seeming characteristic form of "afflicted Venus" for this exact type of event (shooting massacres), even though it isn't a typical form for other tragedies. But also the Venus-Mars, Mars-Neptune, and Saturn-Neptune are major factors here. It's really quite horrible.
Saturn (Asc 1°26')
Mars (IC 4°46')
-- Mars-Saturn sq. (3°20' in mundo)
Venus (IC 4°24')
Neptune (IC 5°27')
-- Venus-Neptune conj. (0°42')
-- Ve/Ma = IC (0°11')
-- Ma/Ne = IC (0°21')
-- Saturn-Neptune sq. (2°48')

Day: Capsolar Quotidian
CapQ had only t. Mercury on an angle (EP). Transiting Sun squared CapQ Moon. This drew focus to the area, not much more.

Day: Cansolar Quotidian & Transits
We remain in a time when t. Pluto squares CanQ Moon (0°30') and t. Uranus conjoins CanQ Moon (0°25'). In this case, note that CanQ Moon is about 2' from their midpoint! (I'd been watching for this point in time, which maximizes approximately today.)

Transits to the Cansolar are less clear (but, in any case, yield to the CanQ). The main point is that t. Venus is exactly on the Descendant. It was (in a sick way) a Venus event, but I wouldn't brag about this as a successful showing.
