Lafayette, LA theater shootings

Post by Jim Eshelman »

(7/24/2015)

Last night (7/23/15) "shortly before 7:30 PM) (NY Times), shooting began at the Grand 16 Theater in Lafayette, LA. Three died, including the shooter. Nine others were injured.

Shooting was heard in an adjacent theater just after people settled into a scheduled 7:10 PM movie, and is reported as "shortly before 7:30," so bst estimate is 7:20 PM.

Year: Capsolar (Dormant.) Moon-Jupiter sq. (2°01')

Quarter: Cansolar
The basic chart is exactly on target with the added astrological bonus - which I predicted to Marion on the drive to work this morning - that we find Jupiter as a non-primary player but foreground. Jupiter stays away from event like this unless they occur in places like theaters.

Venus on MC (3°38')
-- Venus-Saturn sq. (1°15')
-- Ve/Sa on angles (0°32')
Jupiter on MC (7°10')
Neptune on IC (7°16')
-- Ju/Ne on meridian (0°03')

Month: Caplunar'
Neptune sq. MC (1°07')
Saturn sq. Asc (1°42')
Venus on Dsc (2°42')
Jupiter on Dsc (2°50')
-- Venus-Jupiter conj. (0°07' in mundo)

Week: Arilunar
The Canlunar and Liblunar are both dormant. The effective "chart of the week" is the Arilunar.
Pluto setting (0°19')
Mercury conj. EP (0°46')
Sun rising (2°05')
Mars rising (5°13')
-- Sun-Pluto op. (1°36' in mundo)

Day: Capsolar Quotidian
p. MC conj. s. Uranus (0°19'), sq. s. Pluto (1°10'), sq. t. Pluto (1°19')
t. Jupiter sq. p. Moon (0°55')

Day: Cansolar Quotidian & Transits
p. MC op. t. Neptune (0°20'), s. Neptune (0°28')
p. Asc conj. s. Saturn (1°56'), sq. s. Venus (1°40'), sq. t. Venus (0°20')
------------------------
t. Jupiter sq. s. Asc (0°51')

FWIW, yesterday morning, I wrote this on the forum:
Pluto does not hit CapQ or CanQ angles in the next week. The most important quotidian crossings are in the CanQ, and especially are transiting and ingress Neptune square Ascendant tomorrow and the next day. More importantly, with Uranus still exactly conjunct the Capsolar IC, Mars squares Uranus Saturday. Something explosive, of the nature of a surprise attack or startling, hurtful, fiery psychological explosion at least, will hit within a day of Saturday.

The Mars-Uranus centers on Washington, and the psychological (if not physical) impact will be there. On the other hand, massive Pluto pile-ups on ingress angles for Washington are characteristic of big events elsewhere in the country that Washington has to confront and rapidly mobilize to handle. Some possible other areas where these events could manifest are:

Also FWIW, on July 13 regarding the new Cansolar, I wrote:
Across the United States, we have three planetary lines of note.

SATURN is the most severe of these. The Saturn rising line passes on a general curve from Detroit to New Orleans. ...we can pretty much expect along the entire line to have distinctive economic problems and other serious financial losses, large death tolls, and other Saturn phenomena...
