I have seen various reports that describe the same circumstances and chain of events, then give divergent times: Vladimir Putin openly "announced a military operation in eastern Ukraine," followed within minutes by missiles and explosions in Kyiv and other eastern Ukraine cities. (This followed significant Russian military deployment on the Ukrainian border in recent weeks.) At least one source said Putin's announcement was 4 AM; at least one other says 6 AM. (The linked article above gives both!) Russian ground forces crossed into Ukraine simultaneously at numerous locations at 6:48 AM local time - I'll have to dig to find out what that is (I think it's UT+2, or one hour earlier than in Moscow). - Ukraine's president imposed martial law at 7:00 AM Kiyv time.

UPDATE: A correspondent just confirmed multiple sources, including the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, giving the start of the invasion as 5:07 AM (which, as Kyiv time, means 6:07 AM in Moscow).

Venus conjunct Mars, a well-established aspect of war, remains the main aspect of the time and was rising in BOTH Moscow and Kiev when the invasion began (Mars closest): The way the Venus and Mars rising lines flow between the two cities is quite remarkable! (Their Ascendants were only a minute apart even though the Midheavens are many degrees apart) Saturn is precisely on EP in Kyiv.

First, for Kyiv. Astonishingly, the Capsolar has exactly the same angles as the chart for the moment the first missile hit! The Capsolar and its transits exactly times the event (see the Bridge for now narrow the timing was).
