Coming, an Outstanding Incident Venus-Pluto 2022 Libsolar

Post by SteveS »

Back in the days when Matthew was teaching me Sidereal Astrology, I asked him what was the most mind blowing part of Sidereal Astrology he had ever witness. He said without a doubt it was Sidereal Mundane Astrology. But Matthew told me it would be too difficult for me to learn it without the finer points from Donald Bradley’s 3 monthly articles in American Astrology Magazine written in 1956, maybe 1957. I tried to obtain these 3 monthly issues but failed. Matthew told me the only person he knew who could possibly write and explain Bradley’s 3 monthly articles on Sidereal Mundane Astrology was Jim Eshelman-- but he had disappeared. After not hearing from Matthew for a couple of years he popped in with an email telling me Jim Eshelman had again appeared and was opening a forum. Matthew told me to join Jim’s forum and ask him if he would write an instruction manual (Book) for Sidereal Mundane Astrology. Jim did write this manual in fine fashion for those interested and this book is free on this forum here:

I just noticed we have a rare “outstanding incident” DC Venus-Pluto Libsolar featuring an even more rare Paran aspect—known by Cyril Fagan as the most potent aspect in Sidereal Astrology. All I really know about Jim’s research into Venus-Pluto manifested symbolism in Jim’s book on Sidereal Mundane Astrology is it has something to do with “dramatic change in relationships” with “severity” “the kind that stuns one sensibilities,” as Jim’s explains with his detailed research into Sidereal Mundane Astrology. What this means to me there is very high probability we are going to see some major media news pertaining to this mundane DC Venus-Pluto signature with this 2022 Libsolar. Below is a link to the mundane chart for this Libsolar. Note the less than 1 degree orbs of Venus (ASC) & Pluto (IC) on these two angles--- Rare and Potent!!! I can’t help to think it may involve a major DC’s relationship somewhere in the greater world, or least to something inside the Beltway for DC. Its early—but Time will tell.

This is indeed an intense Libsolar. What strikes me most about it, though, is that it is much kinder than any Libsolar we've had for years! - It's not that it's an entirely benign chart (it could, for example, mean significant personal losses). In fact, with Pluto so strong, it will certainly be impactful and probably shaking. That it occurs about three weeks before pivotal mid-term elections can't be ignored.

Still... compared to the last few years (including the 2020 Libsolar and preceded the January 6 assault on the Capitol)... this exactly angular Venus makes it far more benign than any we've seen in a long time. Tight interactions of Sun, Venus, and Pluto (all mutually connected) form more or less the whole chart. Since the Capsolar is dominated by a Sun-Pluto aspect, we have a repeated theme.

Normally, a Sun-Pluto dominated solar ingress refers (among other things) to trying to topple or take down whoever is in power. The easiest prediction, therefore, in a mid-term year in which one party controls the White House and both houses of Congress, is that Democrats will have significant losses in the mid-term elections. I made and published this at a time when Pres. Biden's popularity was strong, quite the opposite of his low approval numbers now - but it was the obvious prediction. In most ways, it's easier to affirm that prediction now than to reverse it.

And yet... we ARE talking about Pluto. You never know how that's going to go, right? Some other possible thoughts about what could absorb the energies of this chart:
  • Donald Trump is in the legal crosshairs in a way he's never been before. This summer, though Biden's approval has been low, the main charts that have shown "an attack on the president" (or on a solar figure in general) have coincided with Trump getting his biggest lumps. There is more than one way to "take down a president" this year.
  • Will the Supreme Court do something worse than the smack-down it's already done on Roe? Possibly something affecting marriage rights? (It fits the symbolism.)
  • Is there a new, deadly wave of Covid-19? I don't think that's what this chart says because there is no Saturn - and there has always been a LOT of Saturn when these waves have hit. But I mention it as one (I think less likely, this time) common outcome of Venus-Pluto.
  • Will these be remarkably POSITIVE events? Though Venus-Pluto has signified loss, it has mostly only done that with Saturn also involved. At bottom line, this is a chart with Sun and a clear benefic angular, along with "outside the bounds of expectation" Pluto. Something currently unpredictable but phenomenally positive could come to pass. This MIGHT be one of those unexpected blessing charts.
Here is a complete breakdown of the Libsolar, which occurs October 18, 2022, at 7:14:15 AM EDT.

Pluto on IC 0°08'
Venus on Asc 0°37'
Sun on Asc 2°05'
Moon on MC 7°52'

-- Venus-Pluto sq 0°29' M
-- Sun-Pluto sq 1°05'
-- Sun-Venus co 1°08'

Excellent points Jim. I have no idea what this Libsolar is telling us except something will probably stun us---could be good or bad after reading your points about it. What I am most interested in is we have a rare Paran Chart-- so whatever happens will be very potent with high%.

It's not all that rare. Libsolars in recent years have had lots of partile aspects very close to angles. Consider these (not listing everything, just the closest):

2021
Pluto on WPa 0°37'
Saturn on Dsc 2°12'
Sun on IC 3°06'
-- Sun-Pluto sq. 0°42'
-- Sun-Saturn sq. 0°54' M

2020
These three planets are all at 100% strength
Uranus on Asc 1°01'
Pluto on MC 1°03'
Mercury on Dsc 1°21'
-- Uranus-Pluto 0°02' M
and 5 other partile aspects of foreground planets that, among other things, described the January 6 insurrection

2016
The Trump election and everything that came with and after that
(These four planets are all at 100% strength.)
Sun on Dsc 0°18'
Mars on MC 0°23'
Uranus on Asc 0°59'
Pluto on MC 1°04'
-- Sun-Mars sq 0°06' M
-- Mrs-Uranus sq 0°36' M
-- Sun-Uranus op 0°42' M
-- -- -- Horizon = Su/Ur 0°38'
-- Mars-Pluto co 1°04'
-- -- -- MC = Ma/Pl 0°21'
-- Uranus-Pluto sq 2°04' M

Yes, I see what you mean Jim. No way can I see how these midterm elections can manifest with the 2022 Libsolar with a “stunning” Pluto effect unless the Dems pull-off a major upset. Implied betting odds from various sources are saying the Reps have 70-75 probability of taking majority control of both the House & Senate.

I am hoping DC can broker some kind of peace (Venus) settlement with the Russians on the Ukraine war, which I can see as maybe having a stunning effect on a world scale.
