Boy, I'm glad I'm not in Chicago tonight.

The Arilunar (Week chart) has Mars precisely rising.

Additionally, Mars is exactly on CanQ IC tonight, and will transit Capsolar Midheaven over the next few days.

Tonight they released the film reportedly showing a white cop putting 16 bullets into a 17-year-old black kid, several of them after he was unmoving on the ground. This happened 13 months ago, the cop has been on restricted duty since then and, for some reason, they stopped paying him today.

In Chapter 6 of that book, there us a section on Mars angular, which is most of what's happening in Chicago right now.

Briefly, a Capsolar is the Sun's ingress into Capricorn. It's the master chart of the year for a location.

Imagine, for all of this, that everyone in Chicago suddenly had Mars rising in their Lunar Return at the same time.

The emotional tone appears to be one of deep, wide anger, but very little violence so far. There were large, public protests / marches throughout the night, mostly peaceful (with a few isolated attacks on police). Friday is the next test day, according to community leaders.

This morning, Chicago's mayor fired the police chief because of how all of this went down.

The new Canlunar for Chicago has Pluto rising (1°02'), so no surprise that "the old order changeth." Moon is also foreground (and, universally, squares Venus).

As this surely wasn't an impulsive, last-minute move, it's worth noting that Chicago's CapQ has had MC on Jupiter the last three days, and CapQ Ascendant is just moving into orb of square Mercury-Venus. The motive is evidently to calm things down and further communication, and it likely will work.

Though this hardly ends the entire matter, it likely does end this particular chapter. Mars has been transiting across Chicago's Capsolar MC since late last week and, this morning, it leaves orb. But Saturn continues to square the Chicago Cansolar MC for a while, so the city remains under chronic (Saturn), rather than acute) Mars, distress.
