Soweto, South Africa mass shooting

Post by Jim Eshelman »

July 10, 2022, 12:30 AM, Nomzamo settlement, Soweto Township, South Africa (26S14, 27E54)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Soweto_shooting
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/10/worl ... oweto.html

A group of men with rifles and 9mm pistols killed at least 15 and injured eight others at the Orlando East tavern, firing randomly at customers. Victims are reported to be ages 19-35. Panic ensured as people tried to flee the bar, having to jump over "bodies... on top of each other" on the floor.

Four others were killed at a separate tavern shooting in Pietermaritzburg (Sweetwaters) a few hours earlier, about 8:30 PM. (This and Soweto are on the outskirts of Johannesburg.) A third shooting Saturday night (in Katlehong township) increased the evening's South Africa casualties to at least 21. These shootings are soon after 22 young people were killed at a bar in East London, South Africa two weeks ago. South Africa has one of the world's highest murder rates, but these killings stand out for number and severity.

Orlando township in Soweto is centered at 26S14, 27E55; this shooting took place in the eastern half, called Orlando East. (As a bit of trivia, the Nomzamo neighborhood was named after anti-apartheid activist Nomzamo Winifred Zanyiwe Madikizela, whom the rest of the world knew best as Nelson Mandela's second wife, Winnie Mandela. Her house is at 26S14'27'', 27E54'32'', so all of these coordinates, and the general SF coordinates for Soweto are in the same minute of longitude and latitude.)

CNN said this was "shortly after midnight." BBC and Reuters said "in the early hours of Sunday morning;" then BBC quoted a local community leader who claimed the attack was at 11:00 PM local time Saturday (21:00 UT) with police not arriving until 4 AM, emphasizing that it took them five hours to arrive. (I don't get the impression this 'community leader' was a witness.) NY Times gives the most precise time, saying they opened fire "around half an hour after midnight."

The most distinctive thing about the event chart for 12:30 AM is it was the hour of a partile Moon-Saturn square - which fell within minutes of Capsolar Asc! While the Capsolar is dormant (it has the Moon-Mars that the whole world has), the area has the Cansolar's Moon-Sun-Pluto T-square on angles. The Arisolar has Mars angular. I first thought the Caplunar wrong with Venus most angular, but it's Venus square Saturn (plus Moon-Mars-Pluto).

Enyobeni Tavern disaster (East London, South Africa)

Post by Jim Eshelman »

June 26, 2022, midnight (0:00), East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enyobeni_Tavern_disaster

Although this was a June event, I'm going to put it here alongside the above event. At the time, I never got this information and ran the charts. In a nation plagued by perhaps the worst murder rate in the world, this was the first large casualty, attention-getting event in the current spree, but doesn't appear to have been a shooting event. (The event immediately above was on the outskirts of the capital city, so notice the Year and Quarter charts essentially as they appear for Johannesburg.

At the Enyobeni Tavern in New London, Eastern Cape, South Africa, 21 people were killed and four others injured from unexplained causes. Much mystery surrounded this event when it occurred, and I think there is still no official cause of death listed for the victims. It might not have been a shooting - it might only have been a crowd crush. One witness said trouble started about midnight. About 1:00 AM, the bar owner was notified by a call from security that people were trying to force their way through a security gate to get into the bar. The security team was overwhelmed. Security sprayed the room with some unidentified chemical (one witness called it pepper spray) that stopped some people from breathing.

Monarch Butterfly now endangered

Post by Veronica »

https://www.iucn.org/press-release/2022 ... n-red-list

It was announced on July 21 in Switzerland that the Monarch Butterfly is now listed as an endangered species.
...made me think of Jim's words...something loved lost...in his mundane forecasts for the USA.

It was also announced that the tiger population in India was significantly higher (40%) then previously known...which made me wonder about Asia's mundane forcast. I am very happy about the tigers.

Unfortunately, on the day of the announcement I was sitting on my porch and watched a monarch land in the street only to be promptly ran over before I could reach him. He died in my hands. I dont think the driver saw it and probably thought I was a mad woman running straight for his car. I do realize now that my having possession of the bodies of these now endangered species is contraband and while I love them I will give them back to the Great Mother.

anyways...the thought of world with no monarch butterflies is a horrible idea so I hope we all break for butterflies.

Unprecedented Death Valley floods

Post by Jim Eshelman »

August 5, 2022, (use 0:00), Death Valley National Park

Los Angeles Times has been reporting "unprecedented" flooding in Death Valley. Strangely, it's almost impossible to find any other major reporting on this (and LA Times is behind a paywall for me on the original story).

The original news report was posted August 5 at 7:06 PM PDT. As summarized by a later article, it spoke of "a nonstop torrential downpour that lasted for hours" in the northeast part of Death Valley National Park that was "near record rainfall." The NE corner of the park is just across the border into Nevada, but the American Atlas coordinates for Death Valley, CA are probably close enough. The storm began "late" on August 4: I'll use midnight at start of August 5.

The rainfall was 1.10" August 5 and 1.46" August 6 at the Furnace Creek Visitors Center, not quite breaking the 4/15/88 1.47" record. Death Valley normally gets a little less than 2" of rain per year.

It may mean nothing but it's worth observing: It was the last hours before Neptune retrograded out of Pisces. (Neptune's transits to the Capsolar are much more interesting and certain!) - The lunar ingresses were strangely unhelpful for a weather event, but the nature of the Capsolar and transits to the solar ingresses were quite good. (The Bridge tells the story, with the CapQ ticking off the days of rain.)

Year: Capsolar {+2}
(Difficult to rate. The angular planets suggest dryness, but the Mars-Neptune square - reading from the aspects as I usually do - shows storminess and torrential flooding. The violence is evident. This was the only solar ingress applicable to the event. The highly localized Moon-Jupiter square makes a big difference and tips it over the top!)

Singapore to decriminalise gay sex, but...

Post by TheScales_BothWays »

Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in a speech this evening that the country will scrap the British colonial law that makes homosexuality a crime in Singapore.

However, he also said that the govt plans to amend the Singaporean constitution so that its legal definition of marriage, "between one man and one woman", is protected from being challenged constitutionally in court.

Channel News Asia reported this part of his live speech at 20:33 local time (GMT+8).
The page is laid out a little oddly, you need to click "load more" at the end of the article to load older updates; simply scrolling down would instead lead you to a different article.

This is just an announcement, nothing official has happened yet, but it made big news so I'm reporting it here too.

I saw that this morning. I guess progress is progress (and, frankly, not being a severely punished criminal is a lot better). It took one step at a time here...

True. And I believe decriminalising will only push Singapore's gay rights movement even further. More and more people will feel safe to come out and fight for their rights.

All good, thanks Jim! Hope you're doing well too. :)
I recently got out of COVID isolation. I tested positive on Sunday August 14th, after I had high fever and lost my sense of taste the day before. My fever quickly went away but my nose started smelling funny for a few days. But I'm doing well now thankfully.

Ex-PM Najib loses his appeal, begins serving his sentence

Post by TheScales_BothWays »

Former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak lost the final appeal of his graft case linked to the 1 Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) state fund today. He becomes the first former Prime Minister in the history of Malaysia to be imprisoned.

The Federal Court, the highest court in Malaysia upheld the Kuala Lumpur High Court decision made in July 28, 2020, which sentenced him to 12 years in prison and a 210 million ringgit (US$47 million) fine. The Star reported the decision at 4.26PM. This also means he is disqualified from his seat in Parliament.

Having been out on bail since the High Court conviction, Najib begins serving his sentence today and arrived at prison earlier this evening.

He tried postponing the trial by changing his lawyer in the last minute, and claiming that his new lawyer was not prepared. The Federal Court dismissed his request as he was too late and rejected his lawyer's request to withdraw from the case. He also tried (and failed) to recuse the Chief Justice from his case, citing comments that her husband had made on social media.

https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/ ... enes-today

Najib is still politically influential, and is very popular among conservatives and rural working-class folk. Some claim his changing lawyers and then failing to postpone his trial is an attempt to paint a picture that he had an unfair trial. His party is still in power after snatching the opposition's electoral mandate, and technically he could be pardoned by the King of Malaysia, if he manages to do that.

This is the post I made reporting the High Court conviction back in July 2020:
TheScales_BothWays wrote: Tue Jul 28, 2020 10:12 am Earlier today (July 28), former Malaysian Prime Minister, Najib Razak was sentenced to 12 years in jail and a 210 million ringgit (US$49 mil.) fine after the Kuala Lumpur High Court convicted him on all 7 charges for the first of a series of cases involving the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal. He still has more trials to face, and he is now on bail/stay of execution pending his appeal to the Court of Appeal.

The sentence was delivered by the judge on/around 6.30pm, when t.Pluto was partile on the Eastpoint, t.Saturn was partile sq. MC, t.Jupiter was 2 degrees above the Ascendant (and the t.Jupiter/t.Pluto midpoint was partile on the Ascendant in mundo). Najib's Saturn-Neptune conjunction was also squaring the Ascendant partile, with his Mars squaring the MC around 1°. And oh, the Moon was in Libra.

Najib Razak was born in July 23, 1953 in Kuala Lipis, Malaysia. I estimated his birth time to be around 9.45AM based off of a few events.

The Star reported the Federal Court decision at 4.26PM. The Moon was setting partile, but his natal Saturn-Neptune conjunction was on the Midheaven, and his Uranus squared the Midheaven by 1 degree.

Based on my estimate birth time, his Solar Return for Kuala Lumpur (his residence) has Saturn sq Asc 0*58', opposing natal Pluto 0*20 in eclipto, which in turn is conj Nadir 1*18'. t.Uranus also squares MC by 0*03'.

His Lunar Return doesn't show much, but his Demi SLR on Aug 21 has:
t.Pluto squaring MC 0*44, opp. r.Mars 0*02' (which in turn squares MC partile)
r.Saturn-Neptune conj. Nadir 1*06' and 1*08' respectively
r.Uranus probably closely conj. EP

As for transits, for 4.26PM, he had t.Pluto conj. r.Mars 0*00', and t.Jupiter 135* Pluto by 0*27' interestingly.

His secondary progressed chart has p.Pluto conj p.MC by 0*03'. p.Moon semisquares p.Pluto by 0*39' and sextiles p.Mars by 0*10'.

I'm very impressed by the SSR and DSLR despite them being calculated from an estimate chart.

Here's the link to my analysis of his estimate chart for his July 2020 High Court conviction:

Memphis shooting spree

Post by Jim Eshelman »

September 7, 2022, 12:56 AM, Memphis, TN

Four dead, three wounded across multiple crime scenes, stretching over several hours. Memphis suspended public transit and issued a city-wide shelter in place order and reports speak of a city in panic. The 19-year-old suspect was in prison until March on an aggravated assault conviction.

Per CNN, the first shooting was at 12:56 AM Wednesday. There wasn't another until 4:38 PM, almost 16 hours later. The last of several shootings in Memphis was soon after 8:30 PM. Police spotted the suspects car and took him into custody without incident at 8:58 PM.

Hurricane Fiona

Post by Jim Eshelman »

September 18, 2022, 3:20 PM AST, Punto Tocon, PR 17N56'49'', 67W06'36'
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Fiona

Struck Puerto Rico as a Category 1 hurricane, causing an island-wide power blackout. As of this morning a million people were still without power. The eye made landfall "along the southwestern coast of Puerto Rico near Punto Tocon between the municipalities of Lajas and Cabo Rojo" at 3:20 PM AST, then moved on to the Dominican Republic.

Lajas is 18N03'07" 67W03'35". Cabo Rojo is 18N05'19" 67W08'46". Halfway between is 18N04'13" 67W06'10". These are quite close. I'll 18N04, 67W06. NOTE: Punto Tocon is 17N56'49'', 67W06'36''. The longitude is the same as above, te latitude slightly less, so I'll have to redo the calculations below if I use this in the future. (The results will be nearly identical). The difference is because Punto Tocon i on the southern coast and the earlier coordinates for the city are north (inland) a small bit.
CNN wrote:More than a million people in Puerto Rico are without power today after Hurricane Fiona slammed the island with heavy rain and life-threatening flooding. The Category 1 storm came ashore on Sunday with maximum sustained winds of 90 mph and has already dumped 6 to 24 inches of rain in some areas, the National Hurricane Center said. Fiona could bring a total of up to 30 inches of rainfall to Puerto Rico and up to 12 inches to the Dominican Republic, which the storm hit earlier this morning. The main power utility in Puerto Rico said it could be days before power is restored, adding that "several transmission line outages" are contributing to the blackout.

School shooting in Ishevsk, Russia

Post by Jim Eshelman »

September 26, 2022, time unknown, Izhevsk, Russia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izhevsk_school_shooting

A shooter dressed in Nazi symbols killed at least 15 people (four adults and 11 children) and wounded 21 others - then killed himself - at School 88 in Izhevsk (Ishevsk), about 300 miles east of Moscow. Authorities are understandably calling this a terrorist attack.

Another shooting the same day in Siberia (at a military base) make one wonder if this shouldn't be studied primarily as a Moscow event. I'll start, though, by examining it for where the shooting occurred.

No time had been found yet. Based on when news reports posted, it was at least before 5 AM EDT (Washington Post 5:15 AM EDT), which is 1 PM in Izhevsk. I'll use noon for now.

As an aside (unrelated to astrology), given Putin's frequent accusation of Ukrainians being "Nazis," I had a hard time reading the news reports this morning without thinking this was a Russian government operative set to stir violent internal outrage.

Sounds quite extreme to get children killed for such a "plot" (something else with prominent Nazi symbols would do equally "well"...) --- speaks more of how the psyche of someone coming up with this idea is operating, than of the event itself, I'd say.

Deadly Stampede in Indonesian Stadium

Post by TheScales_BothWays »

October 1, 2022

A stampede in Kanjuruhan Stadium at Kepanjen, Malang regency, Indonesia, following a football/soccer match between two rival teams, claimed the lives of at least 125 people and injured more than 300, placing it among the deadliest stadium disasters in history. Recent articles now report 174 deaths.

Local time is GMT+7.00. Kepanjen's coordinates are available on Solar Fire.

The match started at 8pm, and ended "shortly before 10pm". The home team lost after a long victory streak, to a bitter rival nonetheless. Hooligan fans rushed to the ground. Exits were blocked as fans were clashing with police outside the stadium too.
NYT reports that at 10.30pm, the police started firing tear gas, but at 11pm, they aimed the tear gas directly into spectator stands, and kept at it for an hour. That's when people started rushing to the exits through narrow lanes. Various articles described the stampede in horrific detail.

At 11pm, a partile Moon-Mars opposition approached the EP-WP axis, and crossed it about 11.05pm. Moon-Mars then rose at about 11.20pm while a partile Mercury-Neptune opposition was crossing the meridian. Both aspects were linked as a grand cross.

Yearly and monthly charts look really bad for Jakarta, and are compromised with more malefics in Kepanjen. Kepanjen's Caplunar has Moon-Pluto partile on the descendant.

Re: Deadly Stampede in Indonesian Stadium

I saw the report of this from NYT this morning. It's terrible :( Using a mix of your data and what's in the Wikipedia article for the outbreak (SF gives a time zone an hour different than you gave):

October 1, 2022, about 11:00 PM AWST, Kepanjen, Indonesia, Kanjuruhan Stadium 8S09'01", 112E34'26"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Kanj ... m_disaster

Yes, that precise Moon-Mars opposition at 11 PM is acute, and its square to stationary Mercury partile opposite Neptune is the ignitor. (All sorts of claims are flying about bad decisions and unjustified actions.)

The charts overall are quite excellent, although the narrowing to the final day is thin. Year, Quarter, Month, and Week are all right on track (the Week chart being so chaotic that it's hard to read but, even then, fitting the event with its chaos). Within the week, final timing is thin but accurate, though with the confusing Venus-Jupiter transits to Moon which are either totally wrong or show it was primarily an entertainment event: The partile Venus-Jupiter opposition was present for the event regardless of the quotidians and (worldwide) hit CapQ and Arisolar Moons.

(Were it not for Mercury-Jupiter, this would be outstanding. It's still good. The PVP aspects turn it on its head! What's really fascinating to me about the Mercury-Jupiter opposition, though, is that historically - in other contexts - I've identified negative expressions as always being about one party's winning vs. another party's losing - and that's EXACTLY what happened here.)

You're right, I didn't notice. But I think SF wrongly uses GMT+8 for the East Java province when it actually uses GMT+7 like the rest of Java. I looked up other East Javan locations (like Surabaya) and SF gives their time zones as GMT+8 when they actually use GMT+7.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_in_Indonesia

So if I got this right, that would mean Moon-Mars crossed the EP-WP axis around 10.05pm, just after the match ended and the hooligans started storming. At 10.30pm (when police started firing tear gas), Moon-Mars-Mercury-Neptune were on the primary angles.

The data base TMSA pulls from gives 7h. This doesn't mean it's right, of course (just two disagreeing DBs) but it's interesting that it gives what you think is right.

I'm still working on the charts above - they're crazy! (Mostly crazy good.) What madness intermingled with sadness.

England's PM resigns

Post by Jim Eshelman »

After a mere six weeks in office, the British prime minister resigned yesterday (October 20) after what has been rightly called one of the most tumultuous, frenzied, unstable terms ever amidst the greatest political instability in the UK since WW II.

Personally, I think Queen Elizabeth's death is a factor in this since, if nothing else, she was always a stabilizing presence. In that sense, this is also the first failure by Prince Charles, but we'll see where it goes next. In any case, I wanted to take a quick look at the ingresses. I also notice the trigger followed by less than one day the news that the country had exceeded a 10% inflation rate.

Sure enough, they speak the great instability and confusion: London's Capsolar has Neptune exactly on Nadir, closely squared by Mars, plus the Sun-Pluto and Moon-Mars influences all too familiar to us here. The Cansolar has primarily a closely rising Moon with very wide angularities of Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Though the Caplunar and Canlunar are dormant, the Arilunar puts Mars closely setting in half-degree square to Neptune. The economic and political news is pretty obvious! (Compare these, say, to Nixon's resignation charts.)

It was the day that transiting Mars exact conjoined Capsolar Moon worldwide. The CapQ from Sun (conjoined by Pluto) to IC. (Venus didn't quite get into the mix by angularity.) The CanQ put Neptune conjunct CanQ Moon exactly angular with Mars precisely on another angle.

Yeah, the charts caught it.

Post by Jim Eshelman »

Jim Eshelman wrote: Sun Jan 16, 2022 6:36 am The timing was initially vague because this volcano has actually been erupting since December. (It didn't suddenly become active.) Then there were more significant eruptions that caught the media's attention on the 14th and 15th (actually, several across those days), with the most significant seeming to be one that was so strong it registered as a magnitude 5.8 earthquake - which means we can track it through USGS. The full data are January 15, 2022, 4:14:45 UT, 20S32'48", 175E23'52" with a partile Moon-Mars opposition across the EP axis and horizon, square Neptune.
This volcano was back in the news yesterday because it is now known it had the highest-reaching plume ever recorded for a volcano, an ash cloud reaching 187,000 feet. This made it the first known volcanic plume ever to break into the mesosphere, the third layer of Earth's atmosphere (which begins at an altitude of 160,000 feet).

Most interesting Jim. If this volcano is to have another major eruption soon, much worse and longer than its first eruption early in the year, I would guess it would be around the time when Mars is slowing to a Station in late Dec to first week in Jan--- close to 15 degrees Taurus. Jim, I note for the event chart when this volcano first blew its explosion mundane Saturn was conjunct Vx.

You're right, that compounds the picture even more. What's more conventionally obvious is the Moon-Mars-Neptune as follows:

20°50' Tau - Asc
25°55' Aqu - Neptune - PVL 28°24' 9H
28°05' Aqu - MC
28°12' Sco - Mars - EP in long. 0°07', in RA 1°04'
29°04' Tau - Moon - EP in RA 0°12', in long. 0°59'
29°09' Tau - EP-a

To this, we can add two planets involved by azimuth - not just Saturn, but also the stationary Mercury:

268°19' - Saturn azimuth
268°42' - Mercury azimuth
270°00' - Vertex azimuth

There isn't a mundane aspect (PV paran) of Saturn to the Moon and other malefics, but it's 0°13' azimuth conjunction with Mercury stands on its own.

This is all very interesting to me Jim. I would expect if we had another big event from this Volcano, it would most likely occur before the 2022 Capsolar ends with its Moon-Mars aspect applying to the whole World. And with Coordinates for this 2022 event it calculates that direct midpoint of Moon/Mars = MC, with Neptune close to MC, most interesting.

University of Virginia shooting

Post by Jim Eshelman »

November 13, 2022, 10:30 PM EST, Charlottesville, VA

Three were killed [11/15: All were football players] and two wounded at University of Virginia by a shooter (a former football player at the school) that is still at large [11/15: Now in custody]. A shelter-in-place alert was sent out vat 10:40 PM.NY Times reported that police received calls of shooting at "about 10:30."

Moon had just entered Cancer, was opposite Pluto, and the opposition was across the EP axis. The ingresses start off quite well (and end with a critical Mars transit), but have a strange persistence of Jupiter in the final timing (week and day) Jupiter was an important feature of the deadlier U of V mass shooting early in this century, but in that case the motive was specifically an attack on elite, moneyed, privileged students.

This event is primarily told solely by the Capsolar and its transits (with some support from the Libsolar).

A shooter inside Club Q, a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs, killed five people and injured 25 others. He "appeared heavily armed and wearing a military style flak jacket" (CNN).

Police began receiving 911 calls at 11:56 PM, were dispatched a minute later, and had the suspect in custody five minutes after that (by 12:02 PM). Bizarrely, conjoined Mercury and Venus were exactly on Nadir as all this occurred.

NOTE: Caseygrace later gave the exact geographic coordinates, which I have added above. If using this event in the future, the charts need to be recalculated for slight differences.

Singapore decriminalises homosexuality, but...

Post by TheScales_BothWays »

TheScales_BothWays wrote: Sun Aug 21, 2022 10:20 am Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in a speech this evening that the country will scrap the British colonial law that makes homosexuality a crime in Singapore.

However, he also said that the govt plans to amend the Singaporean constitution so that its legal definition of marriage, "between one man and one woman", is protected from being challenged constitutionally in court.
It's official. On Tuesday, 29 Nov, Singapore's parliament repealed its colonial-era anti-gay sex law, and as a compromise to conservatives, enshrined marriage as heterosexual in its constitution, preventing court challenges.

First fusion reaction producing energy surplus

Post by Jim Eshelman »

December 5, 2022, 1:03 AM, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (37N41, 121W42) in Livermore, CA

At the above time and place, the first fusion reaction occurred that produced more energy than was required to produce. This is a significant technical breakthrough. The time is from NY Times for the minute the array of 192 lasers fired.

It's nice to see such an important POWER event with Sun in Scorpio and Moon in Aries; but I see this sort of thing so infrequently, I suspect I shouldn't get excited about it.

That this small event was a gigantic success - and especially a technology success - is shown by Jupiter exactly setting closely square Mercury:

2°38' Sagittarius - Mercury (0°42' after IC)
3°17' Gemini - MC
3°28' Virgo - Asc
3°58' Pisces - Jupiter (0°08' before Dsc)

Year: Capsolar {+3}
(The first fully positive expression of the California Capsolar. The Mars-Jupiter aspect, that did not occur through the whole state, is PERFECT.)

8-) 8-) This is most interesting to me Jim and I also note as a coincidence the Circle was Squared partiled with:

2°38' Sagittarius - Mercury (0°42' after IC)
3°17' Gemini - MC
3°28' Virgo - Asc
3°58' Pisces - Jupiter (0°08' before Dsc)

Congo floods

Post by Jim Eshelman »

December 13, 2022, Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo

NY Times: "At least 141 people died in the Democratic Republic of Congo on Tuesday after heavy rains caused floods and landslides in the capital, Kinshasa, Congolese officials said. It was the latest in a series of deadly environmental disasters to hit West and Central African countries this year."

No specific time, so I'll use noon. The capital is appropriate both for the nation as a whole and because it's where the flooding and landslides centered. It was an "all-night downpour" that "brought the worst floods in years to the city of 15 million people. Nearly 40,000 households were flooded and 280 collapsed..."

It was a day Sun squared Neptune in space and, for much of the day, Moon opposed Saturn.

With a neutral CapQ, all the solar ingresses come into play, and the Arisolar especially nails it - also Libsolar - with LibQ sealing the day.

Year: Capsolar {+1 at least}
Mercury square Uranus closely angular and a worldwide Moon-Mars opposition. The stationary Mercury conjoins a widely foreground Saturn.

Bridge (None.)

Quarter: Libsolar {0}
Moon exactly angular with moderate Pluto and distant Sun-Venus. Ho-hum at best.

Month: Caplunar (Silent.) Moon-Pluto.
Week: Canlunar (Silent.) Moon-Pluto.
Week: Arilunar (Silent.) Moon-Pluto.

Week: Liblunar {+2}
Moon square Pluto closely angular (Moon 16' from MC).

Day: Capsolar Quotidian & Transits {0}
(This should almost get a point for rain, but it's far too neutral.)

Day: Arisolar Transits

January 6 Committee concludes, makes criminal referrals

Post by Jim Eshelman »

December 19, 2022, 2:16 PM EST, Capitol Building, Washington, DC

The special committee investigating the January 6 events held their final meeting in public broadcast, summarized and formally issued their report, and, among other steps, referred four people to the DOJ for criminal prosecution including former president Donald Trump, with four charges including insurrection. They concluded that the events of January 6 were ultimately caused by one man, Donald J. Trump.

They concluded as Uranus rose and Pluto crossed MC, Moon joining them in the mix. Uranus squared Pluto 0°28'. Quite interestingly, there was a middleground Sun-Saturn mundane square, nearly partile. Here are the mundoscope positions of the event chart of their conclusion:

25°47' 6H - Moon
28°57' 9H - Pluto
29°25' 12H - Uranus

I'll return and break this down when I have time.
