Rebel Authors vs the Mainstream

Post by SteveS »

Being a Rebel myself, I have always been partial to Rebels who do scholarly work in their chosen fields which goes against orthodox academic thinking. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think all of orthodox academia is BS, but I have long questioned what our history books have taught us. One of my favorite Rebels was Cyril Fagan who is the father of Sidereal Astrology/Re-discover of the Sidereal Zodiac. Fagan came along and upset for the most part—the entire field of Tropical Astrology writers who scorned Cyril Fagan for bringing the truth of the Sidereal Zodiac back to a few astrologers. I see the same thing happening now in other important fields of academia, which could hold more truths for people who are interested in the field of the Sidereal Zodiac, the one and only true Zodiac.

Jim, would it be alright if I pointed out some other Rebel authors going against the mainstream in their fields which may hold important future bearings for things to do with the Sidereal Zodiac?

If they have something to do with Sidereal astrology, then they're appropriate for this site. (Of course, if you're talking about your favorite pyramidologists, you've already written about them quite a lot, and that information remains here :) .)

Fearing that this thread may just simply show our subjective personal synastry with an author, as what I feel may make one a maverck/rebel a Rim or Spokes may not see the author's work as rebellious at all and find the material boring, unrealistic, stupid, or impossible, based on thier personal synastry with the author and even synastry with the publication birth chart.....

In the genre of Literature I found the fantasy world created By J.R.R.Tolkien to be an almost timeless exploration of life and its myriad relationships.. He was a true scholar and visionary and his stories are loved deeply for their academic skills in language as well as teaching the simple truth that Kindness is the greatest weapon against the horrors or the world. His birthday is the 3rd he would be 130 this year.
I feel with his sun and moon placements he especially touches the hearts and minds of millions if not billions of people with his stories of good overcoming Evil, stay vigil and minding to the everyday routine, never loosing hope and making sure you eat a good breakfast.
I feel though that his natal chart is such though that for many people his books are a hard confusing read, especially if his Saturn aspects touch thier lights.
