March 28, 2017, 12:30 PM, London, England
Great Britain has served divorce papers on the European Union. That is, the two-year, probably sticky and touchy process of Britain's exit from the EU has begun officially.
A few minutes before 12:30 PM today, the UK's ranking envoy to the EU stepped into the European Council president's office and hand-delivered the formal notice of the Article 50 invocation. (Charts are for London, as affecting the British people, though the act was apparently in Brussels.) With the best hopes of a kindly divorce and a "fortunate separation," Venus was 0°23' from MC at noon and Pluto 4°41' below Descendant - the two being in mundane square; while the setting Pluto was 0°10' from square Jupiter ("fortunate separations"). For the paperwork, I suppose: A 0°02' Moon-Mercury conjunction squared Ascendant.

Re: Brexit has begun
As I catalogued these aspects, I wasn't surprised to see the above charts had much in common with charts for past economic crises and commencements of war. This doesn't mean that this will be the necessary outcome of Brexit, just that the act itself is one of creating economic economy and severing relations with other countries, I think.
But of particular interest for comparison is that the above chart factors have quite a lot of overlap with charts for the fall of the Berlin Wall.
