The Battle of Little Bighorn - best known popularly as "Custer's Last Stand" - was fought June 25-26, 1876, near the Little Bighorn River in Montana at 45N33'54", 107W25'44".
Gen. George Custer's 7th Cavalry Regiment faced an alliance of Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes. The Indians overwhelmingly won. Of 647 U.S. soldiers, 274 died (including 6 that died later from their injuries). Of an estimated 900 to 2,500 Indians approximately 160 died.
Maj. Marcus Reno led the first wave of attack, around 3:00 PM on June 25, which is the starting time.

Re: Custer's Last Stand
It might be of interest to compare Custer's Last Stand (a devastating slaughter where the U.S. military lost) to the Wounded Knee Massacre (a devastation slaughter where the U.S. military won). Here are the summaries side-by-side.
LITTLE BIG HORN
Year: Neptune (Sun Jupiter). Moon-Jupiter-Saturn Sun-Jupiter.
Bridge: Mars (Cap). Venus Saturn (Can).
-- Quarter: Venus Jupiter Saturn (Moon Mars Pluto). Moon-Venus-Mars Moon-Venus-Saturn Mo/Pl Venus-Jupiter Mars-Jupiter Ma/Pl.
Month: (Dormant.) Moon-Venus.
-- Canlunar: Venus Jupiter Neptune. Venus-Jupiter.
Day (Capsolar): Sun (CapQ). Mars (transit).
-- Day (Cansolar): Saturn Pluto Moon-Sun-Venus Saturn-Pluto (CanQ). Saturn (transit).
WOUNDED KNEE
Year: Neptune (Mars Saturn). Moon-Venus Moon-Jupiter Saturn-Neptune.
Bridge: Sun Jupiter (Cap). Mercury Uranus (Can).
-- Half-year: Jupiter.
-- -- Quarter: (Dormant.)
Month: (Dormant.)
-- Week: (Dormant.) Moon-Mercury.
-- Week (Arilunar): Saturn (Mars). Moon-Sun Moon-Uranus Mars/Saturn.
Day (Capsolar): Mercury Jupiter Moon-Sun (CapQ). Jupiter (transit).
-- Day (Cansolar): Sun Jupiter Uranus Moon-Mercury (CanQ). Uranus (transit).
Several interesting points of comparison and contrast emerge, but the most dramatic is in the daily indicators, where it appears that the U.S. military is the "team" that is being reported on for the outcome.
When the U.S. military lost:
Day (Capsolar): Sun (CapQ). Mars (transit).
Day (Cansolar): Saturn Pluto Moon-Sun-Venus Saturn-Pluto (CanQ). Saturn (transit).
When the U.S. military won:
Day (Capsolar): Mercury Jupiter Moon-Sun (CapQ). Jupiter (transit).

Re: Custer's Last Stand
Washington's year began with a Uranus-Pluto mundane square tightly on the CAPSOLAR angles, one of the rare times this appeared in the past just like our current year. It certainly suggested some shocks and upset apple carts.
The quarter has intense lunar aspects that describe the event well, even though the chart is dormant overall.
The CAPLUNAR is startling & ugly! Mars and Neptune are tightly square on the angles. (There's also a Moon-Venus mundane aspect, not sure how that integrates - but the Mars-Neptune message is solid.) The Week chart is atypically poor.
And then comes the Day stuff. I'm not happy with all of these benefics. The Uranus transit to the Capsolar and Neptune transit to the Cansolar time the broad strokes well enough themselves, but we also have Moon and Venus aspects, including the universal Moon-Venus progression in the CanQ which is triggered by transiting Sun for the battle. Even though this is general to the world, it's hard to skip past this as an aspect narrowly pegged to the exact day of this distinctive event. OTOH, we have plenty of Venus-Neptune which actually fits pretty well. So the day is mixed.
