Jupiter partile cnj MC & South Point (partile 90 Vx), a most potent Sag Jupiter for his very sucessful acting carreer.American actor with a successful career for over four decades.
Mars-Jupiter is par excellent symbolisn for anything to do with sports and his Mars/Jupiter=MC certainly explains all of his avid sports activity.Athletic, he has kept his college weight and is in good physical shape. He was an avid lifelong tennis player and swimmer and played basketball, baseball and football in his school and college,
His greatest acting role was a most popular TV series ‘Sea Hunt’ where he played a skin diver (sea).Check out his direct midpoint of Sun/Neptune=Moon. Neptune for the sea.He was also involved in several organizations, including the American Oceans Campaign and Heal the Bay, a Los Angeles-based group.
Obviously his tight 90 of Sun-Moon forming a direct 45 degree midpoint with Venus explains this strong ‘bond of love and loyalty’ with his family.Unquestionably, the best role of Bridges' lifetime was patriarch of the family, creating a bond of love and loyalty with his sons that they passed on to their families.

Re: Lloyd Bridges
Sea Hunt is one of the earliest TV shows I remember ever seeing. Yes, definitely, Jupiter for the actor... and look at that Neptune! The ocean served him well.
Add the Mars factor - he was an athlete as well. (Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto are all foreground, despite the Moon appearing to be 20° below Ascendant - it's really only 8°.)
