American TV personality who began as the host of The Tonight Show on October 1, 1962, reportedly for $100,000 a year, retiring on May 22, 1992 at a $25 million per year salary. In 1979 he bought into 17% of NBC's earnings, which insured his billionaire status. With his nonchalant, inventive wit, he was one of the most popular and enduring figures on American TV, a household icon for millions of Americans. He was reliable, respected, reassuring - and funny, a familiar figure who was part of many lives. Carson was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Kennedy Center.

The greatest TV talk show host ever, imo. Sidereal Astrology teaches us to look to Planets in the foreground of the angles for major life themes. Pluto ‘stuns our senses’ benefically or malifically and Carson’s Pluto aspected with his Moon Jupiter cnj definitely stuned America's senses with laughter. Scorpio Venus tightly cnj his anti-vertex for his great social status in TV land with America; also, probably symbolizes his sexual prowling Hollywood Land with beautiful women—he was divorced 3 times. There are other layers of astrological symbolism in this Natal Chart but got some business to attend to now.

There is something important I would like to point out pertaining to Carson’s Natal and when he relocated to Malibu, California. First with his natal we notice a very tight T-Square of Jupiter-Pluto-Mars, or written in midpoint form Jupiter/Pluto=Mars. Of course this most important T-Square is illuminated with the Moon being cnj Jupiter opp Pluto square Mars. Carson was known as putting a tremendous amount of energy (Mars) into his work—in other words he worked (Mars) his tail off to become a success. His career shot to the moon when he relocated to Malibu. Note how this location shifts his planetary angularly (T-square) with Mars now the closest planet to an angle, cnj Malibu’s Asc, with Moon-Jupiter-Pluto in the close foreground of Malibu’s MC-IC axis. A good example of the importance for re- location as a tool in astrology.
