2024 National NCAA Basketball Championship

There are 64 teams playing for the NCAA College Basketball National Championship begiining this Thrusday. I always like to do rapid analysis (too difficult to explain) with Sidereal Mundane Astrology and select one team out of 64 to win the Championship, but only if it has low risk to high reward returns. Last year I chose Uconn at + 1600 and placed a 50 $ wager. Uconn won the National Championship and I banked 800 $ on a 50 $ wager.

This year I will wager another 50 $ on Iowa State (Ames, Iowa) to win the National Championship at + 2000 to possibly win 1,000. If they can make it to the Sweet 16 (win their first 2 games) I will be in good hedge wagering situation to win $ even if Iowa State does not win National Championship. Why I am wagering on a Iowa State who has never won a national championship in anything. It’s because Ames, Iowa with their Master Chart of the Year (2024 Capsolar) features an “outstanding incident” angular Jupiter partile 135 Venus (link below).

I don’t have good aspects for winning this wager, but it will be good entertainment fun pulling for the community of Ames, Iowa.

Last year Connecticut (Storrs) won the National Championship at a + 1600 Vegas odds to win the championship. This year Connecticut has the best record in NCAA basketball at 30-3 and play in the toughest league in basketball---the East. Vegas has Connecticut as the odds on favorite to win the championship again this year at + 400. Wow a 30-3 record!! That is so awesome, they obviously trained and worked hard and really came together as team. Regardless if the win one more game or lose one, they should be filled with pride and accomplishment at their great achievement this year. I'm sure the families and friends of the team are so proud too as they should be, it seemed it was their year to shine and I hope regardless of the outcome of this games finaly that they are able to take the fruits of their work forward with them in life and are able to recall the most beautiful expression Saturn has, the satisfaction of a job well done.

Iowa State easily wins its first two games of this NCAA Basketball tournament and advances to the sweet 16 playing Illinois Thursday. With my + 2000 wager, I am now in good hedge betting position to break even for my worst wagering outcome, or maybe win $ no matter who wins this tournament. But my greatest excitement is to see how far the small community of Ames, Iowa Master Chart of the Year, their 2024 Capsolar carries them in this tournament. My Nephew who I have been teaching Sidereal Mundane Astrology (SMA) to for the last 5 years (Jim’s SMA teachings) just called me to point out something which very important to me. On April 6 the UCONN (Storrs, Connecticut) basketball team will play in the semi-finals of the final 4 if they win their Regions this weekend. Connecticut is a huge Vegas favorite to win their Regions and the team I wagered on Iowa State at + 2000 is in the same Regions as UCONN. Because Vegas has UCONN a prohibited favorite to win their Regions this weekend, which if happens, means they will play in the semi-finals of the final 4 on April 6. Transiting Mars partile cnj Storrs Capsolar Saturn, both partile 90 Storrs Capsolar Horizon. This is actually an “outstanding incident” Mars-Saturn situation. Mars is a fast moving transiting planet and I ask myself: Could Mars being forming this very malefic Mars-Saturn combo for Connecticut be signalling an upset? If so, it will be one of the greatest upsets in the history of March Madness.

Illinois 72-Iowa State 69. I lose 50 on my original Iowa State wager of 50 to win a possible 1000, but win 60 on Illinois to win vs Illinois as a hedge bet. + 10

UCONN 82 San Diego State 52. Lose 10 on a hedge bet. Even in $ for the tournment.

The only wager I now have open is 50 on UCONN to win championship at + 275 fow a possible win of 137 $. If UCONN makes it to finals, I may make another hedge bet where I win $ no matter who wins championship. A great recreational betting position to be in for my recreational entertainment for watching March Madness.

As an added bonus last night for me-- Bama upset North Carolina to make it to the elite 8 Sat vs Clemson. By far the most exciting game my sports fan wife Gayle and I have watched so far in March Madness. She hates Bama and stormed out of the room when Bama won in the final seconds

At the beginning of the NCAA Basketball Season, Alabama’s basketball team was a 10,000 to 1 Vegas odds to make it to the final four teams playing for a National Championship, a 15,000 to 1 to win the National Championship. My original wager of 50 $ on Connecticut + 275 winning this championship for using SMA is in a perfect hedge betting scenario. I will wager a hedge of 50 $ on Purdue at + 6.5, setting up 3 possible wagering outcomes:
1: If Connecticut wins but not more than 6 points, I win 187 $.
2: If Connecticut wins by more than 6 points, I win 87 $
3: If Purdue wins this game, I break even.

Regardless, it’s been a recreational fun experience for this year’s March Madness, and if I win $ I take Gayle out for a nice dinner.

There are some astrological SMA aspects involving Connecticut which are very interesting for me for possible further learning, which I will discuss later.

I have proven to myself with my own chart and others charts that Ebertin’s words in COSI are true where it is stated in a footnote:

My test for a Jupiter-Uranus combo failed to calculate a close end game, so, I learned something.

Here are some lesser used astrological notables for Purdue losing this game in a dominating Mars-Saturn destructive manner:

West Lafayette Indiana CanQ (daily chart) featured a Mars-Saturn PVP aspect with Mars 089,21 Azi and Saturn 268,15 Azi. Jim and I have been testing these type aspects with Jim’s keen observations that Vertex related aspects should be looked at with Mundo angular contacts for accurate astronomical positions to Vertex/Anti-Vertex chart points.

There was a partile indirect midpoint of the transiting Mars-Saturn conjunction partile 90 to West Lafayette CapQ AS/MC. Jim does not endorse the AS/MC as an important point, I am still keeping my mind open that it is a midpoint not to be ignored with 0 90 180 aspects.

Regardless, Purdue was soundly defeated in a Mars-Saturn fashion, and the above two Mars-Saturn hits offer me the only symbolic aspects for their sound defeat. It could have been worse if UCONN had not slowed the pace of the game down, still cruising to a 15-point win. Anyway, it was a fun recreational March Madness for me with my Virgo love of analyzing a 64 team field with Sidereal Mundane Astrology and wagering for a 87 $ profit.
