Per the instructions of TMSA's creator, Mike Nelson (mikestar13), I am assuming ownership of and responsibility for TMSA (effective April 22, 2024, 7:21 AM PDT, Century City, CA).
Mike's health has been weakening for some time. Last summer he said he would no longer be able to work further on TMSA. Hoping for his recovery, I saw no need to rush the matter. However, today I accept responsibility for Mike's creation and to work toward its survival long into the future. Mike's goal (which I share) is to continue and expand TMSA as a fundamental tool for Sidereal astrologers while hoping that other software creators steal all of its best ideas and make them standard features in their own future software products for a larger market and the benefit of a wider group of Sidereal astrologers (and all astrologers).
We are happy to talk with other software creators about ideas we would most like them to lift and adopt. Meanwhile, we'll make TMSA the best standard Sidereal Astrology toolkit we can.
As I take this step, another Mike has stepped forward. While Mike Nelson has appeared on this site as mikestar13, another Mike (known here as Mike) has agreed to help me (i.e., do all the real work). He is a professional programmer who has astrology software projects of his own and will be able to bring additional resources to the development, preservation, and sharing of TMSA.
I will now start restructuring this TMSA sub-forum a bit, retiring some old threads that are no longer relevant, updating the Wish List, and creating a "quick short list" - things that are needed that can be done quickly, with little effort, to significantly sharpen the current 0.4x version to a solid 0.5. (These are mostly things Mike Nelson had already completed but was never able to publish or share his completed code with us.) I'll also try to restructure and perhaps relabel the posts here so they are useful to moving forward.
Thank you all for your support. Please, everyone: download, install, and use this remarkable software. It has so much that no other software gives us and is the only software I know created specifically for the needs of Sidereal astrologers.

This is good news Jim.
And great that Mike Nelson's work gets continued.
I find it a superb tool, I use it a lot and it is user friendly.
Hopefully Mike is getting better.
I am sorry to read his health has been weakening.
Regards,
Flo

Dear Dear Mikestar13, you took a great risk to bring TMSA to the world. I know you named it Time Matters Sidereal Astrology but in my heart I always called it Terry & Mike Stars Always. I always hoped that one day your beloved Terry would appreciate your desire for self understanding, for others understanding, for our worlds understanding. I'm sad thinking that he has left the world of living, and that Terry is now alone. I hope that she knows she is loved and valued and welcomed.
When my computer was hacked last spring I deleted most everything including TMSA, the files had been corrupted somehow. I had been waiting for the issues to be resolved before I installed it again. I am encouraged that Mikestar13s work is being continued, and thrilled that Jim and MikeV are able to undertake the project and keep it alive.
I look forward to installing TMSA and utilizing its unique features, found only in Mikestar13 program as the clarity of information is unparalleled.
Thank you for all your efforts and time and may the heavens reign lovingly upon Terry&Mike, stars always.

Beautiful tribute, V. - BTW I'm sure you could reinstall the current version and not have to wait for an updated version.
