Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
So, I spent all day at the peace museum, and watching and learning more about Japanese culture, you can tell what they prioritize. The exhibit was just painful. Very Venus/Saturn. Heartbreaking, disfigurement, so much loss, yet at the end there was messages of hope. The park itself was beautiful, the peace dome was lovely as well. I cried profusely.

My nephew and his squad had a similar reaction, part of his Marines deployment was first to Hiroshima ( since Japan cannot have a military of their own) and then they went to Pearl Harbor. Truly touching experiences that he Carries with him everyday.Venus_Daily wrote: Wed Sep 04, 2024 12:30 am So, I spent all day at the peace museum, and watching and learning more about Japanese culture, you can tell what they prioritize. Did you know that one of the way the body rids itself of toxins is through tears? That's why we always need to let them flow so we can release them and keep moving on.
I hope you are vitally refreshed and ready for your new beautiful SSR and more wonders on your birthday adventure. Happy Solar return to you Venus!!

Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
Thank you, my SSR doesn't happen until 7/8 PM JP local time. I Don think I've had tr. Moon/Venus in a base ssr chart since the late 90s. What makes this so special is that it's partile and less than a degree from the WP with it aspectimg the WP in less than a degree. Maybe something good will happen, who knows?

If you capture the exact location (e.g. with a GPS app), let us know so we can give you a very carefully drawn chart.

Thanks, Jim. So glad that Mars-Saturn is background, probably significant of grinding at work. More responsibility, and more incentive to increase my health. I think that Venus/Venus conj is also operative, just not partile. Over the past decade, I've been able to dig myself out of a really large hole and persevere despite doing it kicking and screaming. I was able to make so many new friends this past year. Hopefully. This return shows my friend circle growing and an increased popularity when Jupiter crosses my Venuses later this year.

2024 - Moon/Venus Return
I'm just wondering, should I be doing anything differently for this return? People argue that the subconscious mind does not exist, but after everything I've seen with synchronicity and astrology, I know it does. This does feel like it may be an outstanding SSR. Who knows.

The return doesn't require anything special in order to be effective. On the other hand, if you were prompted to do something meditative or to increase your receptivity, trust yourself.

Well, my SLR happened last night in my sleep. Sucks because it appears to be really potent, I know the last one with Venus losely foreground happened the same day. I've been really trying to use positive thinking and putting myself out there but nothing. I guess secretly, I really did wanna meet someone this year.

I'm confused by a couple of things. First, I'm not clear what your new lunar return has to do with "this year," since it only lasts a month. Second, this is a fantastic SLR for Venus matters.Venus_Daily wrote: Fri Sep 13, 2024 5:47 pm Well, my SLR happened last night in my sleep. Transiting Veus is 0°02' from IC for your home city. It squares your Moon ecliptically and squares a setting Pluto. This is a month with a lot of potential for romantic encounters.
Am I missing something in the story?

Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
Thanks, Jim. Sorry for thr confusion, but with everything so angular and Mars closely squaring Venus, I thought things would manifest much sooner if at all. I'm on dating apps, I'm really going out of my way to meet new people and be kind to anyone and everyone, and the only people who appear to be impressed are married men over 50, who happen to be my patients, which happens all the time. I've downloaded even more dating apps, so who knows.Jim Eshelman wrote: Sat Sep 14, 2024 8:12 amI'm confused by a couple of things. Not to tell you what to do, but I wanted you to know I have not heard any good words from other women with any of the free apps, lots of bad words and dark drama but nothing good...yet I have heard of great luck using professional dating services like match that charge you a fee. The science behind that should be obvious in that if a person is actively paying money to a service to help make connections the person has a bottom line interest in finding one so they can stop paying the fees. It helps filter out many people who are only looking to get lucky so to speak, and not earnestly interested in long term meaningful connection.

I wish I could meet a nice man like most of the women around me. One of my coworkers just had a man make a serious declaration of courtship at our place of work. The rest of my coworkers met their partners at the gym, at the grocery store, at work..I've even tried just talking to krn and making conversations but nothing. I'm so ashamed. Secondary progressed Moon is rapidly moving away from its conjunction to Venus, and I can't help but thi k it's just me.
Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
Well, for years now I have listened to your strange posts that just seem to be not in any sort of alignment with your Solunars, it is very weird to me how you just don't seem to resonate with certain charts. when i look at your chart it makes me wonder if for some people things like trines and sextiles are more operative, of if maybe you respond and resonate with say your mars return charts or even your Saturn return chart, it seems to me that the aspects we experience are actually just a part of a bigger cycle. You did recently have your Venus return. maybe you can get some insight about you in that chart that will be meaningful to your Solonar's? I think astrology is holistic and each person has to be their own dr so to speak, and accept that one size does not fit all and we need to be open to consider other non traditional avenues for exploration into our self growth and integration with the larger cultural consciousness that we live in.

I must be missing something. I have your secondary progressed Moon 25°45' Taurus at the moment, not even close to aspecting your natal Vens 10°22' Virgo or progressed Venus 29°23' Libra.Venus_Daily wrote: Tue Sep 17, 2024 7:29 am Secondary progressed Moon is rapidly moving away from its conjunction to Venus, and I can't help but think it's just me.
There's is a lot of Moon-Venus-Venus in your new solar return, but not in your natal or progressed natal.
BTW, remember how last year's SSR was so strong with Jupiter - during the course of the year you remarked at different periods that Jupiter stuff wasn't working right, and then it was up and down, and then - at the end of the year - you were "Wow, this has been a really great Jupiter year!"? The promise of the solar return is that the year, taken as a whole, will match the chart. Your new year is just beginning!
I also suspected there was something grumbly and depressive touching your chart this week. Saturn is creeping back to oppose your Sun for a while (and it's Saturn-Pluto semi-square in space that is near your Sun). Neptune is still toying with you. I am confident the year as a whole will shake out the way you want, but there's a pretty good chance you'll feel blocked and frustrated during Saturn's retrograde loop around your Sun. This moves out of orb the first week of January just as Jupiter begins to square you Sun. This doesn't mean everything until New Years will be awful, but that you have some things to do between now and then - maybe some kind of internal "house cleaning" and managing restrictions and frustrations better. Finding other things that give pleasure. Once Saturn is clear, the rest of the year looks pretty sweet.

I've been feeling very depressed since I returned from Japan. I have natal Venus in some parts of Japan, and I'm thinking of securing an external source of income to be able to move in the future. It was the best place I've traveled to so far.
I guess this SLR maybe being a dumb note has also made me depressed. My friend at work, who just got out of a chaotic relationship a month ago is already being courted by a high ranking health executive she met on our floor. I guess it's just little things like that. This is the most I've been putting myself out there and making myself vulnerable.

Yes, I hadn't noticed that southern Japan gives you a beautiful Venus Midheaven line. It's already close at Hiroshima and grows stronger as you move south (or, specifically, as you move west, which means going south). Fukuoka is down there, though I don't know anything about it.
It's clear that this trio had a powerful impact on you. I'm so glad you took it. Living under a Venus line is an entirely different feel than I've encountered anywhere else and I love it.
Hang in there. It's a brand new year!

Thank You, Jim. It is a new year@ 9/25 is my new Demi, so, I assume the base SLR is probably over. This one is a lot breaker with Pluto rising and natal Saturn exactly on the Mc.
The only thing I can say about the base SLR was that I felt sick, weak. I also felt depressed, very lonely. SA Ven is getting closer to Moon/Sun Midpoint. It's within the 30 minute applying orb. So, who knows.

Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
I think my SLR probably manifested today in a hugely disappointing and sad way. Let's just say, I had to cut off contact with my mother's sister for her incessant lies. It's been a long time coming. She's a Libra Sun/ Scorpio Moin, and she embodies everything everything pathological about the pair. Maybe romance isn't the cards.Jim Eshelman wrote: Thu Sep 19, 2024 7:53 am Yes, I hadn't noticed that southern Japan gives you a beautiful Venus Midheaven line. Nothing really exciting or noteworthy has happened except for the usual Natal Venus in the foreground stuff, being showered with compliments but never being good enough to date. If it's not my hair, it's my skin, but the most compliments I get are on my voice. From both patients and coworkers, oddly enough mostly from women. I'm in a better space than I was few weeks ago.

No new updates really. As this month comes to a close, no new updates really. I started a new weight loss peptide two weeks ago. Still with the depression. It got worse yesterday. It kind of comes in waves. I guess a patient said something extremely rude to me about my appearance, and it just made me realize that I'm 40, my mother is almost 70 and in bad health, and I'll probably be alone forever. Maybe I'll have more luck next reincarnation.

Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
Well, today, I put the wheels into motion. I think this may be the Moon/Venus symbolism behind my SSR. I have a consultation with a plastic surgeon in January.
It very much sucks, today my cousin is getting married under a Libra new Moon at the age of 42 to a 36 year man that is very well off. This is the same cousin whose Gemini Moon is exactly opposite my Natal Moon. She also has a Capricorn Moon. She is a terrible person, manipulative, and from a Leo/Sagittarius luminary, combination, I can say that she's not very attractive both physically and personality wise.
Anyway, I'm excited and scared about these upcoming procedures. I figure that I'm done trying to invest in others, situations, and men that do not want me.

Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
Update: Saturn Stationary had me feeling very sad. I don't know why, but I started a new weight loss medication, one of those GLP1s, to help lose weight, and overall, it's helped my mood a lot.
I'm closer to reaching my financial goal for plastic surgery, I love my new job, and I give thanks to God every single day and this forum for guiding me to it. Even though it wasn't shown in the Lunar Return, 2023's SSR reflected a high degree of synchronicity in both professional and romantic matters. Now that I've felt more independent, I've been able to cut out toxic relationships from family and friends that were serving no purpose over the last several months. My 2024 LuniSolar also appeared to be a catalyst for the romantic events that occurred in 2024, and 2025's seems to be dead except for the fact that it's moon is almost exactly opposite my SSR moon/Venus Conjunction. It does feature Jupiter exactly on the Westpoint. I wish I could travel for it, for experiementation purposes, but my schedule is made up.
Anywhoo, I am also wondering when a good time would be for plastic surgery or if the next few SSRs reflect that. Unless it happens this ssr cycle
2025: Locally, Moon/Venus on the IC. Venus exactly square natal Saturn, which is not good for disfigurement. Jupiter partile square Mars. If I return to Japan, this will be right over my natal moon in the foreground.
2026: Jupiter exalted in Can can be pushed to the Dsc square radical Saturn, a bit closer this time, exactly but Moon makes an exact square to Natal Venus/Transiting Neptune and goes onto square Tr. Saturn, eventually. Jupiter will also be exactly square my Natal Sun/Moon Midpoint. Don't know if that's operative.
2027 seems magnificent. The only place that directly puts both Jupiter on both the superior angles, Jupiter on the MC & Uranus on the Dsc is Phuket. In the Americas, only Uranus can be pushed to the Asc while Jupiter remains on the Zenith. The october 7th return seems to repeat the SSR themes with Jupiter and Uranus on the Mc/Dsc locally. In mundo, only 2 and a half degrees from a rotational square.

Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
Update: The biggest news, I've been loosing more weight.
In just a little over 2 months, I've lost a bit more than 20 lbs. I've kind of been deeper into meditation and pensiveness trying to increase my self awareness and change my perspective of things, trying harder to dig deeper and accept things I can't change. I'm now 40, and I am trying to lose weight, not to be found more attractive but so I can feel better physically and increase my own self worth. I'm still planning on going through with plastic surgery, but it's so I can love what I see in the mirror and feel better about myself..not so I can impress someone that won't ever be attracted to me in the first place.
I'm looking forward to the future and making money, I feel like, it's the one goal I have in life.

Thanks, Veronica. So far, I've lost over 30 lbs since starting weight loss meditation and little bit over 2 months ago. Anything that will make my life easier at 40 years old, I am down for. So far,I've lost a little bit over 100 lbs since 2011. Now weighing 231.
Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
Yea You!! That is truly remarkable! Little daily bits add up to great achievements. It is so hard to take care of our bodies and I commend you for your effort!Venus_Daily wrote: Fri Dec 20, 2024 10:43 pmThanks, Veronica. Not to sound snarky or unloving, but ….
each OUNCE of weight you loose, burn off, remetabolisze whatever,
is the result of a huge concertered effort of your entire being and IMO should be shouted proudly as a such…
meaning ….
I hear you say “over 30 lbs, a little bit over 100” and I think saying (especially to yourself in your inner personal conversations) I lost 30.75 lbs or 107 Lbs is very very important. It took just as much self awareness, self control and self discipline and determination to loose that .75 of a pounds as it did the 100. By using language, by rounding down, you are subtly not honoring your hard work, not giving yourself full credit and I think that if you do that in this one area of your life it may reinforce a habit of not claiming all that you should be given credit for which could leach into other areas of your life.
So please know that I care if you lost 33.33 pounds or 31.72, I will cheer you on for each nano ounce you loose because none of it was easy and I know it.
Keep going and keep us all posted!

Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
New Year Updates: Work has been insane. I'm so glad we're getting this chill, maybe we'll get a break. Honestly, you never know how bad psych issues are in America are until you work in a large hospital. Malingering and Munchausen's is insane in America. Combine that with entitlement, and I predict some major revolutions for the worse in the American healthcare industry. We're just so entitled yet so uneducated that it seriously worries me. I was floated to the ED the other night, and I can confidently say that people just do not care about themselves and expect you to care more about themselves than they do.
I'm still looking at the clock waiting for Moon/Venus from Hiroshima to kick in. It doesn't feel like a Moon/Venus year still even though Saturn has finally moved off my Sun. I did make a new friend who I have a lot in common with, but we're both bonded in trauma inflicted upon us by men.
My bank account is great, I should be able to afford surgery soon, but then it will be time to save more to repair the damage being overweight has done to my body.

Self loathing fuels the economy.
If we had Healthy people after all, think of all the people who would loose their jobs...the bottlers at the brewery need job, the potatoe chip makers would need a job, the wheat farmers, the Trans oil manufacturers, millions and millions of jobs would be gone if people made healthy choices, thats what an economy teacher explained to me once. What about the poor manufacturers of metal parts, who don't even know they are building scud missile parts...they will loose their jobs if we have peace and love won't they.
We don't any of that now do we.
How interesting to me, (Your solar opposite sign) that the people I see around me are the exact opposite, highly educated, self caring and nurturing and always being generous and helpful.
I don't see who your seeing in my environment.
It sounds miserable.

The demographic may be different..South Texas is probably very different. I'm only 116 miles away from McCallen, Texas voted the fattest city in the US. I know that eventually, I will have to move from this state. In the 90s, it was a lot more balanced, but it's just became very unbalanced economically and mentally, and I feel like everyone has just become a diabetic. Driscoll, our local Chrildren's hospital was on the news for having to call CPS on the parents of children who are super morbidly obese.Veronica wrote: Sat Jan 04, 2025 10:09 am Self loathing fuels the economy.

Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
1/4 of the year gone and nothing new to report.
Work has been harsh. We've had so many bleeds on the floor. One of them died.
Aa for the only aspect active in my SSR Moon/Venus. Nothing there

Jeez, so. I'm in the hospital. Not because of COVID but because I now have a definitive diagnosis of Guillen Barre syndrome. I've actually taken care of patients with the disease. For a few days I had difficulty urinating and thought it was just a UTI. Had the same symptoms the summer before last and very mild muscle weakness, but this time I could barely get out of bed. Not to mention the terrible unccoordination I suffered from since early adulthood. My doctors just think ot was exacerbated by recent dieting, not getting enough fat and nutrients. I'm very lucky I work on a neuro floor.

I'm glad you're getting care and - wow, sorry you have to deal with this.Venus_Daily wrote: Fri Jan 17, 2025 11:19 am Jeez, so. I'm in the hospital. This is astrologically fascinating. I have almost no cases of GBS on file but, while writing my medical astrology article, noted that Ebertin attributed it to Saturn-Neptune combinations. I wrote:
This is a rare disease (in my experience) where current factors (e.g., transits) are as likely to be the 'culprit' as natal factors. You have a wide natal Saturn-Neptune octile (1°42') and - right now - you have transiting Neptune returned to octile your Saturn again. (As I type this, transiting Neptune is 0°05' past sesqui-square to your Saturn.)GUILLAIN-BARRE SYNDROME attacks the central nervous system (nerves outside the brain and spinal cord). It comes on fast, sometimes within a few hours. At its worst, it can affect breathing muscles. Reinhold Ebertin attributed GBS to Saturn-Neptune: Though I do not have many horoscopes for people with this disease, all of them had a strong Saturn-Neptune aspect at birth or when the affliction struck. Typical public examples: Andy Griffith, Joseph Heller.
17°26' Lib - r Saturn
2°31' Pis - t Neptune
4°08' Sag - r Neptune
When these conditions are activated mostly by transits rather than just be a natal condition, they are more likely to resolve or remit when the aspects leave. - Get the care you need (it seems you are). You have a very positive solar (and Jupiter hanging around your Sun for a while), so - in my non-medical opinion - I think your prognosis is good!

Re: 2023 - TERRIBLE SSR
Thanks, Jim, they have me on IV immunoglobulin, which is not only insanely expensive but has horrible side effects. It really hasn't shown up in any of my return charts except maybe Solar Progressed Moon octile Uranus, but to me that would be positive. Funny that it would happen in my 40th year of life. Harmonically speaking.Jim Eshelman wrote: Fri Jan 17, 2025 11:46 amI'm glad you're getting care and - wow, sorry you have to deal with this.Venus_Daily wrote: Fri Jan 17, 2025 11:19 am Jeez, so. Oh no Venus, how scary for you, yes you are very lucky. I’m glad to hear you have a proper diagnosis and are getting the help you need. I hope you feel much better soon!Venus_Daily wrote: Fri Jan 17, 2025 11:19 am Jeez, so. I'm in the hospital. Wishing you a short recovery period Venus, keep us informed.
Adding to Jim’s octile transit observation associated with Ebertin’s observation that Saturn-Neptune combo’s are associated with GBS, I note you were born with a direct midpoint of Sa/MC = Nep (0.06). Because this Saturn-Neptune combo involves your Natal MC with this direct midpoint with very small orbs, it is a very important direct midpoint in your Natal/Life. Cosmobiology considered the MC the most important point of a Natal and emphasized close inspection of one’s MC involved with the system of midpoints. This one direct midpoint could explain your life experience with GBS.
