Like I've said on the boards before, I am not that savvy when it comes to natal astrolgy I posted my chart before, and I just wanted to add there are lots of similarities and connections in our charts. The most angular planet, stongly angular, is obviously Venus in Sag.
This planet has made my mother a very kind person, to a fault...sort of a push over. My mother loves to please, and loves to give, and I think Venus so strongly in the foreground has made her wear her heart on her sleave.
I can see her T-Square With a rising Uranus Mars Neptune, and Moon/Sun Conjunction in Capricorn...
Hope I can get an interpretation
Maria

Danica wrote:some thoughts toward the synthesis in interpretation:

both Luminaries are in Capricorn, that gives a strong Saturnian nature; and the fact that this conjunction has an about 1°30' wide sextile with Saturn, that being the closest Luminary-aspect besides the conj. itself - we see Saturn here very emphasized, as the planet that depicts the identity and life overall (Luminaries are life itself, in traditional terms, and I think that should not be disregarded).
and this Saturnian nature has to express itself through Venus! - through grace, love, giving and openly & directly emotionally connecting to others.
(while Saturn itself is in the background.)

Mars is in it's own constellation, and since Luminaries are in Mars' exaltation, she has to have at least some leadership potential, knowing how to motivate people and make them work and give their best - I suppose as a sort of inspirational force to others, taking into account Mars-Neptune oppos. as Mars' closest aspect and angular Venus which acts as inspiration for others (but in a different way than Mars; Venus is a muse, inspires by her receptivity, while Mars motivates via inciting, setting on fire...).

I think the main' task' here is to develop higher Saturnian principles - which overlap with the higher Venusian principles; in practical terms, this is for example the ability to adopt, change and flow (instead getting stuck in these or that emotional forms), to accept and to be able to let go...

Venus_Daily wrote:Thank You Danica, but since posting the chart, I have been observing my mother's behavior, and have noticed that there is nothing Saturnian about her nature. She is short termpered and impulsive, but Venus angular tends to make up for her short commings.
Both Saturn and her luminaries are in the affinities of Mars, with Mars being strongly placed being aspected by Uranus and Neptune, it sort of exagerattes her martian tendencies. I've noticed this with few charts where the the over all tone of the chart just sings in harmony, the only thing that is out of place is her pisces MC, very much aimless through out life, and it's noticeable especially when you're her child.

Jim Eshelman wrote:Capricorns aren't just Saturnian. They're Saturn plus Mars, and their archetype is the goat, a symbol of pagan wildness. Capricorns are wild and crazy by nature, and double Caps are wilder and crazier!

The issue here is autonomy, which often turns into struggles against authority. (That's actually the main life-theme of Saturn anyway; but here we had Mars and Double-Rim.) You can work out the long development yourself, but basically it means that, from infancy, she instinctually wanted to be self-sufficient and infants just aren't capable; so, depending on what kind of parenting she had, she came up with an infantile coping method. Now, given her Venus, it just might have been to charm her way through! - Generally, Saturn's youthful tactics toward authority are to be debased before it, or to rebel against it, or to try to identify with it and become the authority, or... lots of things. "Be Dad, or Kill Dad, or Be Better Than Dad." (Or maybe Mom.) Then, moving through young adulthood, there is either the highly obedient or the seriously acting out. I actually think she had some serious impulse control issues, and only her smile got her through.

Double Rims get in more trouble with themselves and others than any other typel. They live on the rim of the wheel - on the surface - and their worst trait is probably lack of depth or deep penetration into theirt own motives. And Capricorn has a glib slickness that slides right past disclosing anything about themselves - magnificient story-tellers who, whoever, usually tell you nothing at all about themselves.

At least, that's the general case. And your mom's chart, with the Mars-Neptune opposition square Uranus, has even more likely poor impulse control - aggressive and daring pursuit of her fantasies and indulgencies - and yet, as Danica said, some real power which comes from the ability to practically telepathically compel people into going with her enthusiasms.

Her Venus is exactly angular - in mundo it is onoy 1' from the Descendant! And it is half a degree from my own Mars, so I'd like her phone number. (I'm joking. But with a double Cap, I had to joke. Which reminds me - she probably has a fantastic sense of humor and, generally, the ability to entertain and even enthrall people.)

I've not touched on the foreground Mercury. You can read the section on that here on the forum, but it especially means a deep curiosity about things and how they work.

The big transit issue right now is Saturn's square to her Sun-Moon. Read the transits section for these. Also Neptune opposite her Pluto. Exactly today she has a progressed Moon-Pluto opposition, so some kind of confrontive impact is likely. She's just coming out of two years of progressed Venus opposite natal Jupiter.

Venus_Daily wrote:Thank You so much Jim, lately, she's just been somewhat out of it over reacting constantly, This year she obviously has a Saturn/Sun square coming up, but in 2014 she has a sun moon conjunct not partile, but closely on the ascendant, and Moon square Saturn on the ASC. Does this spell double trouble
What's happened to her today, she triped comming out of the restroom, and bumped her head on the wall.....
